Noticing a familiar silhouette in a Quidditch team players, which I wanted to hug so passionately for a long time, I resolutely went to meet him, but stoped taking only five steps. Potter was walking in an embrace with a beautiful dark-haired girl. They looked very happy, laughing at something, giving each other kisses and not noticing anyone around. My hopes for forgiveness and reunion faded out and shattered at once. It turns out that we could not have any conversation. Potter could not stand the insult inflicted by me and began to live on. He met a girl, started a new relationship. He seemed quite happy and joyful. The picture presented to me hurt my heart, but I couldn't take my eyes off that sweet couple. The thought flashed in my head that I had already seen it somewhere before. Stoically pressing my lips together, I held back the tears that came. I was offended that through my own stupidity I did not leave a chance for Potter, and now, according to the law of the boomerang, I did not have it myself.

Поттер шёл в обнимку с красивой темноволосой девушкой. Они выглядели очень счастливыми, смеялись над чем-то, одаряли друг друга поцелуями и не замечали никого вокруг. Мои надежды на прощение и воссоединение разом померкли и разбились вдребезги. Выходит, никакого разговора у нас состояться не могло. Поттер не стерпел обиды, нанесённой мною, и стал жить дальше. Встретил девушку, завязал отношения. Выглядел он вполне довольным и радостным. Представшая мне картина больно щемила сердце, но я не могла оторвать взгляда от сладкой парочки. Мелькнула мысль, что где-то я это уже видела. Стоически сжимая губы, я сдерживала подступившие слёзы. Мне было обидно, что я по собственной глупости не оставила шанса для Поттера, а теперь, по закону бумеранга, не имела его сама.
