Exciting news, everyone! Spyfest After Dark is back for 2024, this time with a Christmas Fic Exchange! With Alex Rider season three coming out earlier this year, there's no better time for another Secret Santa to spread the joy.

The rules will be the same as last year: All ships and ratings are allowed, no ship bashing or kink shaming will be accepted. Let's have some fun writing about Alex Rider!

My headcanon for book Yassen learning languages is that he's really good at learning sounds/phonetics for new languages and he thinks that learning to speak in a native accent is what language learning is all about, so he'll practice to get his pronunciation 'right'

This is why he doesn't really have a Russian accent in the book, but also because it comes relatively easy to him, he lowkey thinks people who do have an accent just didn't try hard enough ashdflhs
