Straight cisgender people will go "Why don't we get pride?? We're unique too!!"

Yeah but have you ever had to look up if it's illegal to go on your vacation trip just because of who you love?

Were you not allowed to marry the person you love years ago?

Have looked at the we have the right to refuse service to anyone sign and get nervous?

Are you being discriminated against even in you own community because you don't want to love (aro/aces deserve double pride or smth idk)

Have you been denied by a doctor because you're trans and it's 'too complicated'?

Are cishet people being harassed and murdered because they're cishet?

We've fought for our place and we're still fighting. When you have to do that then you can have pride.

EDIT: I know that other groups have faces oppressions like this and I know that queer people are not the only ones that suffered like this but I am saying nobody has ever been treated like this BECAUSE they’re straight.

Welcome to the Crop Top James Fest

What is the Crop Top James Fest?

The Crop Top James Fest is a fest for authors, artists and any other kinds of creatives who want to celebrate James Potter's birthday! We will be doing this by contributing art, writing, or any other creative work involving James Potter in a crop top to the hashtag #croptopjamesfest.

How does it work?

The idea is that everyone who wants to contribute posts their post here (or to art or fic sites like ao3 but make a post here with a link to the site) with the hashtag #croptopjamesfest and once the fest is over everything will be reblogged onto this sideblog so that we can use it as an archive / gallery to see everyone's works:) You will have until the end of the 27th of March (we're going by 12 pm gmt on what would be the 28th for gmt, which google tells me is when the last timezone has it's midnight, so that everyone has the whole day to finish) to post your work before they start being reposted onto this blog.

Rules

There are very little rules here. Just make sure to tag your works properly (nsfw, dead dove etc.), be kind to and supportive of each other, follow the instructions and we should be fine:) There's no word limit, no limit to how much art you can make etc etc. so this is all very lowkey and chill. You could draw a stick figure with glasses and a crop top and it would be fine!! Do not forget to tag your post with #croptopjamesfest and tag this blog in the post as well!!

TLDR

If you want to participate in the fest all you have to do is make something that involves James Potter and a crop top and make sure to tag your post with #croptopjamesfest :))
