Hey guys! I am sorry to bother you all for help again (still) but I still need help. If you cannot find the old post I made about needing help to move then you won’t find it due to stupid tumblr flagging my blog as explicit for no reason. Anyways, because of that I am making this new post to ask for help once more!

You see, after doing some researching on prices and other things with a friend (who is trying their best to help me move) the goal for my donation pool has been lowered to $400 instead of $700. I did get some donations last time so currently (until or unless some of you donate more) It is over 50% percent. I am thankful for everyone’s kindness but I am not out yet!

Lemme make a quick summary of my situation. I am 24, can’t drive (family won’t teach me or is so bad at teaching that they trigger my already bad anxiety), can’t work (workplaces are too far to walk and I don’t have or can’t get rides to and from it), and I am stuck living with my mentally and verbally abusive father. (Fyi some of you have asked why I can’t call the police, it’s because my dad is buddy buddy with the sheriff and other people who would claim I am lying and shit when really I speak the truth) I am trying my best to move on my own but I honestly need help. Each day that goes by is just making my situation worse, especially being around my dad’s gf who I am honestly starting to believe she hates my guts and tries to ignore me or get me in trouble with me dad. Pretty much I need out of here as I am not getting help to learn to drive or even be able to go to and from work if I got a job, not to mention help with other things like needing to go to the doctor and get meds for my mental illnesses and etc. My dad just yells at me (he needs anger management but refuses to get it, his anger is terrifying to the point where I fear my own life around him) about anything, he gets mad even if I get sick and need to go to the doctor, and if I go he refuses to help with the bill. (he promises to pay it but later refuses to do it, to which I would always try to pay it myself if I had money but I am always broke!)

Basically, $400 could help me get an uber, train and bus tickets, as well as luggage and snacks for the move to where I plan to go(it will be a long trip, most likely around 6 hours but I should have a place to go to after this). I need help and I would be so grateful to be able to move out of this horrible living situation with help from you all. If you have any questions then you can ask them on this blog or to my rp blog (which I am more active on than this one) @ofblazefire so I can try my best to answer any thing you need or want to know.

How To Appeal A Post When You Don’t Have The Appeal Button

Since the 17th about 12 of my posts where flagged as adult content and when I went to try and appeal it there was no appeal button. I went through their help and read the whole article. I even contacted support who then copied and pasted their help page not even trying to assist me.  All I know is that there was supposed to be a button for the original creator to click and allow up to appeal but there wasn’t.

It has taken me days to figure out this work around and I thought some other people out there might be having this issue.

Now here is how you appeal your post when you don’t have the appeal button

Now go through your blog and find all your pages with censored posts clicking on them to take you to the original post.

Take a look at the url.

See that number there? Copy it!

Open up a new page and type in this:

https://www.tumblr.com/dashboard/blog/your url/

At the end paste that number.

When you hit enter you will get this:

The appeal button is finally there! Click it!

You’ll get this message and then you’ll click appeal again.

Your post is now being appealed.

You can check that it was fixed just by refreshing your blogs page.

And that’s it! I know it is stupid and ridiculous to do such a ridiculous back method but unfortunately it’s the only solution I’ve come up with.

Also no you can’t just use the weird sidebar dashboard to find it as any flagged posts don’t actually show up at all in it.

The Official “Log Off” Protest F.A.Q! 

The “Log Off” protest is in response to the recent NSFW ban announced by Tumblr. The ban flags all content the filtering system detects as NSFW, reducing visibility to the community. The system has proven time and time again that is inefficient, oftentimes flagging SFW material as NSFW. 

This SFW material includes art, memes and so on. This ban directly hurts the community and will not solve the actual problems at hand due to the poor flagging system. Because of this, the entire community will suffer.  

So to respond, I propose that every user on Tumblr logs off of Tumblr for 24 hours on December 17th at 12 am EST.

So....wow my roommate and I finished Voltron and holy fuck the last two or so episodes we were just squeezing each other's hands and eventually crying together. I won't say anything spoilery, but I will say it was intense, it was beautiful, it was funny and fucking hell did it play on my heartstrings. Nothing anyone says on here will change that for me.

It's been an honour flying with this show.
