Whenever there’s a shonen battle manga there’s always characters that’re like ‘This guy’s super dangerous, he loves fighting and trained for 47 years to get better at it’

Can’t relate. I’ve been in like four fights in my life and even the ones I won I felt terrible after. It feels miserable to harm another human being even for justified reasons.

Time to start writing my story where a character is coincidentally good at fighting to defend what they love and gets a lot out of training, but is absolutely miserable when they do it and weeps after every fight.
