anyways basically like a year ago i was super into mha, and you know how deku eats those little fish snack things and warms them up in the microwave? so i searched them up on amazon, and ofc it was in japanese so i translated it and the translator said “calcium has arrived!” on it (it was a picture translator) and i found that really funny. so when like the next day i made my pinterest account and i had no idea what to name it, i remembered that. and then a year later i got tumblr and was just used to being calciumhasarrived so i used it again 🤷

Back in 2020/2021, I was heavily into mcyt, but mainly, I was into Hermitcraft, Philza and Dream SMP by extension. And because I was in that fandom, I mainly lurked and followed a ton of artists I liked (I also enjoyed watching a lot of speedpaints at the time too)

During that time, Wolfythewitch was active in the fandom too, posting a ton of fanart — primarily speedpaints, which I frequently watched whilst I was drawing. And because of that, my taste in music was heavily affected too.

I ended up getting into The Oh Hellos and really falling in love with their stuff, especially their album Boreas.

My favourite song was Cold, (It probably was my most listened to song in SoundCloud in 2021? I’m not sure) and because I listened to it and the rest of the album so much, it got to the point where I could hear the words aurora boreas borealis in tune to Cold’s beat. (y’know, kinda like when you mishear lyrics and hear something else entirely)

So, it ended up becoming my username and I haven’t had the heart to change my handle since. Especially now that I’m always referred to as Aurora (or Borealis, but apparently people tend to use that as a more formal term to address me haha)

Back in 2020/2021, I was heavily into mcyt, but mainly, I was into Hermitcraft, Philza and Dream SMP by extension. And because I was in that fandom, I mainly lurked and followed a ton of artists I liked (I also enjoyed watching a lot of speedpaints at the time too)

During that time, Wolfythewitch was active in the fandom too, posting a ton of fanart — primarily speedpaints, which I frequently watched whilst I was drawing. And because of that, my taste in music was heavily affected too.

I ended up getting into The Oh Hellos and really falling in love with their stuff, especially their album Boreas.

My favourite song was Cold, (It probably was my most listened to song in SoundCloud in 2021? I’m not sure) and because I listened to it and the rest of the album so much, it got to the point where I could hear the words aurora boreas borealis in tune to Cold’s beat. (y’know, kinda like when you mishear lyrics and hear something else entirely)

So, it ended up becoming my username and I haven’t had the heart to change my handle since. Especially now that I’m always referred to as Aurora (or Borealis, but apparently people tend to use that as a more formal term to address me haha)

anyways basically like a year ago i was super into mha, and you know how deku eats those little fish snack things and warms them up in the microwave? so i searched them up on amazon, and ofc it was in japanese so i translated it and the translator said “calcium has arrived!” on it (it was a picture translator) and i found that really funny. so when like the next day i made my pinterest account and i had no idea what to name it, i remembered that. and then a year later i got tumblr and was just used to being calciumhasarrived so i used it again 🤷

anyways basically like a year ago i was super into mha, and you know how deku eats those little fish snack things and warms them up in the microwave? so i searched them up on amazon, and ofc it was in japanese so i translated it and the translator said “calcium has arrived!” on it (it was a picture translator) and i found that really funny. so when like the next day i made my pinterest account and i had no idea what to name it, i remembered that. and then a year later i got tumblr and was just used to being calciumhasarrived so i used it again 🤷

How i came up with my username was that I was really into cookie run kindom/cookie run oven break and in oven break it gave me an automatic username, which was fizzy fish. I LOVED this username and still do so when I went on tumbr for the first time and they told me I couldn't just have fizzy fish I just added my birthday at the and :P so thats the original of the username fizzyfish24.

Back in 2020/2021, I was heavily into mcyt, but mainly, I was into Hermitcraft, Philza and Dream SMP by extension. And because I was in that fandom, I mainly lurked and followed a ton of artists I liked (I also enjoyed watching a lot of speedpaints at the time too)

During that time, Wolfythewitch was active in the fandom too, posting a ton of fanart — primarily speedpaints, which I frequently watched whilst I was drawing. And because of that, my taste in music was heavily affected too.

I ended up getting into The Oh Hellos and really falling in love with their stuff, especially their album Boreas.

My favourite song was Cold, (It probably was my most listened to song in SoundCloud in 2021? I’m not sure) and because I listened to it and the rest of the album so much, it got to the point where I could hear the words aurora boreas borealis in tune to Cold’s beat. (y’know, kinda like when you mishear lyrics and hear something else entirely)

So, it ended up becoming my username and I haven’t had the heart to change my handle since. Especially now that I’m always referred to as Aurora (or Borealis, but apparently people tend to use that as a more formal term to address me haha)

Ooh this is fun

Back in 2020/2021, I was heavily into mcyt, but mainly, I was into Hermitcraft, Philza and Dream SMP by extension. And because I was in that fandom, I mainly lurked and followed a ton of artists I liked (I also enjoyed watching a lot of speedpaints at the time too)

During that time, Wolfythewitch was active in the fandom too, posting a ton of fanart — primarily speedpaints, which I frequently watched whilst I was drawing. And because of that, my taste in music was heavily affected too.

I ended up getting into The Oh Hellos and really falling in love with their stuff, especially their album Boreas.

My favourite song was Cold, (It probably was my most listened to song in SoundCloud in 2021? I’m not sure) and because I listened to it and the rest of the album so much, it got to the point where I could hear the words aurora boreas borealis in tune to Cold’s beat. (y’know, kinda like when you mishear lyrics and hear something else entirely)

So, it ended up becoming my username and I haven’t had the heart to change my handle since. Especially now that I’m always referred to as Aurora (or Borealis, but apparently people tend to use that as a more formal term to address me haha)
