I'm still mad at English for not having a word for ' 'the day after tomorrow' or 'the day before yesterday' BUT THEY HAVE A WORD FOR YEETING SOMEONE OIT THE WINDOW

FRRRRRR in portuguese there isnt word for after tomorrow (we just say depois de amanha that means literally after tmr) but we do have anteontem (day before yesterday) AND THE VERB YEET ISSO STUPID LIKE

At the theatre camp my school organized, the older group is doing Newsies dances. One of them is Carrying the Banner, and I'm laughing so hard because since we can't say "That's my cigar!", they changed the script so that Race says "Hey! That's my GUITAR!"

Love when the hyper fixation hits. Watched the 2017 Newsies daily for at least a week. Time for a 2012 bootleg now to mix it up.

I've genuinely been watching this movie practically non-stop the past few weeks

In the stage version of Newsies, are we supposed to think that Crutchie was arrested opportunistically? That he’s the one kid who is unlucky or he’s a slow runner or the Delancey brothers go for him, the way we’ve seen them do before, and then Snyder and the cops happen to scoop him up? That’s what I always assumed.

But watching the scene in Pulitzer’s office again, I ask myself: actually, did Joe order Crutchie’s arrest SPECIFICALLY? Did he ask Weisel (who knows all the newsboys and has to deal with them on a daily basis) which kid to arrest to get the best leverage over Jack? Did Weisel tell them to try and grab Les too? Is that why the Delanceys kept going for Les in the fight?

Does Jack ever consider this possibility, once he hears Pulitzer explicitly threaten Crutchie and the Jacobs brothers? How does HE think Pulitzer knew which boys to target? Does he blame Katherine?
