Chemistry read for Ali and Hayley. :)
Chemistry read between Cameron and Ruby!

wrote a lockwood and co trio fic :)
this is like a minor not so important detail but i love how lucy (a female lead character) has a genuinely healthy relationship with food.
like showing her grabbing a biscuit when annoyed in ep 1 and never being afraid to eat in front of lockwood and co and dumping sugar in her tea infront of lockwood is so personal to me and makes me so happy
i hate that there are so many (female) characters that are just never shown eating or frequently lose their appetite, or judges others for eating junk food.
idk it just made me happy
okay but something that really stuck with me in the books is that when kipps came to rescue george he said that he witnessed the worst fight he's ever seen in his life (between george and joplin) and i wish we could've seen that in the show
One of the questions I had while watching Lockwood and Co (because I haven’t read the books) is how do religious people react to The Problem™️? Like how do they fit the very much real life events going on into their worldview? Are a bunch of atheists suddenly converting? Are Catholics like “oh yeah they’re just demons, spray ‘em with some Holy Water”? Are there people who just straight up refuse to believe it’s happening because of their beliefs? Do people adjust their beliefs just slightly (or more than slightly) to fit into what the afterlife is shown to be like? What is the canonical afterlife like in L&C? I have more questions but I’m going to stop there.
I am just very curious about the religious aspect of the Lockwood and Co world.
That meme that’s like “character who is like ‘I would kill for you … please tell me to kill for you’ while their friend/significant other is like ‘no’”
only it’s Lockwood saying “I would die for you … please let me die for you” and Lucy and George empathetically telling him “NO.”
Never throw away a key. Every single one unlocks something somewhere. FLO BONES in LOCKWOOD & CO.

Fancy a peek inside Portland Row? On 26th August 2021, I paid a visit to @ealingstudios, where Lockwood’s house had been lovingly created by Marcus Rowland, @sophiehpowell, and the amazing team at @completefictionpictures. It was an incredible feeling, stepping through the front door for the first time. @mrjoecornish was still shooting on location, so Portland Row had not yet been filmed in. It was sitting quietly, just waiting for @rubystokess, @cameronchapman__ and @alihadjiheshmati to drop by and take possession. The amazing thing for me was how close it was to the house I saw in my head: the accuracy was unbelievable. Here you can see: the front hall, with all the masks and the crystal skull lamp on the table; a peep through into the sitting room, where Lucy will soon have her fateful interview; the view down to the upstairs landing (I am taking the photo from just outside THE MYSTERIOUS LOCKED DOOR); and a nice shot of George’s bedroom, thankfully with no one doing naked yoga. Note the ladder: some parts of the house were still being finished as I went round. It was an incredible feat of design and construction, a testament to the vision of Joe and the film-makers, and an honour to be able to visit it.

Some Ali appreciation!
no, no, I keep thinking about it. About Cameron saying that the thing that drew him to Lockwood was that he was complex, fun, and loving. Like we don’t get many male characters where that, especially in combination with complex, would be one of the main characteristics. They could be complex or charming or brooding or fun, and underneath it all they could love. But Lockwood is actively loving and that is the thing that defines him. He loves Lucy and George so much. Just about everything he does, even the stupid stuff, is about trying to love them.
Maybe the real fantasy aspect of Lockwood and Co is a man who can apologise properly
Maybe the other real fantasy aspect of Lockwood and Co is the concept of owning a house in London.
