If you're too soft it's because you didn't read any of these books by the age of 10. If you read all of them by age 9 you're mentally ill now.
SLAMS REBLOG
of course i have a praise kink, i'm a burnt out former gifted child.
This is the most addition to this post but I also can't fucking argue with it because it's true.

this is so bad this is the worst thing
This is by far the most cursed thing I’ve seen in my fucking life
resume. cover letter. linkedin. emails
guinea pig instagram accounts are so funny cause the captions will be like "uh oh! pumpkiwumpkin is being extra sassy today!" and the picture is literally just
mutuals if we were alive 15,000 years ago and you broke your leg and couldn’t run from danger or hunt for food i would carry you to safety and bring you only the best nuts and berries until you were better again
I just saw the most Galaxy Brain gender take ever, from a cis man on reddit
[ID: a screenshot of a comment from reddit, with no username visible. The commend reads: This doesn’t make a ton of sense to me either. Setting aside the question of whether gender/sex is assigned or observed at birth, the gender I was assigned at birth was ‘boy.’ The gender I have now is ‘man’. Boys and men have different gender roles, and few adults identify as boys anymore. From this standpoint, every adult has a different gender than the one they had at birth. End ID]
Framing “girl” and “boy” as separate genders from “woman” and “man” is such an amazing take. it’s a framework that accommodates and explains so many trans experiences. Some trans people never were their AGAB. Some feel like they were their AGAB, but that that changed (usually when puberty hits, which is when you start “becoming a man/woman”. The accepted societal path is that girls grow up to into women, and boys grow up into men. But some girls grow up into men, and some boys grow up into women. This guy was a boy who grew up into a man, which generally works out pretty well for people. Some boys and girls grow up into people who aren’t men or women, even! It’s like this random cis guy skipped right over transgender 101, 102, 201, etc. and stumbled directly into Transgender Nirvana.
if something confirms your biases, that's when you REALLY NEED to fact check it!
if it scratches an angry little itch, fact check it!
if it gives you petty satisfaction, fact check it!
if it feels like revenge, fact check it!
ESPECIALLY if it's about a group or demographic rather than named individuals, FACT. CHECK. IT.
i'm serious there are people out there who have salaried careers crafting misinformation posts designed to sneak past your critical thinking by activating your angrybrain and if we are mutuals i have seen you reblog them yes you.
I wish it wasn’t weird/awkward to tell people you have like, a distant crush on them lol. Like, I don’t need anything, I’m not asking for anything, I just want you to know I’m a little 😍 about your existence and I’m glad I know you.
I’ve been working on animating the Confidence Cat comic but stopped here because it didn’t seem helpful given the times. If I do try to finish it I think it’ll require a bit of a rewrite
i’m absolutely obsessed with the guy on youtube who redraws clips of seinfeld by perfectly replicating don bluth’s furry art style with the 90’s vibe
like look at these
OH THIS PERSON. ok. so, i knew them before they were popular because we both had an obsession with the band Journey, particularly the former lead singer, Steve Perry (with whom I am still enamored with). we weren't friends, they probably have no idea who i am, but i was a huge fan of their journey fan art. they made art of steve perry from various stages of his career and would often have those steves interact with each other. eventually they made it into a series called "the saga of the seven steves" where each steve had a different personality type and relation to each other and everything, gradually making them all different heights and body types, then giving them new names relating to which time period they were in
that's when it started to get weird cuz they started giving each steve a different gf (had to be a girl, because this artist is homophobic. they were very vocal about how against gay marriage they are) and then made villains and some sort of plot that i never caught on to, and it was just weird seeing these cute drawings of an old 80s singer gradually turn into its own universe that involved seinfeld somehow??
anyways, it's just hilarious anytime i see them on my dash cuz like *guy standing in a corner meme voice* they don't know kosperry is a homophobe who made their own universe out of different iterations of a 73 year old man
It seems enormously unfair to suggest they're still a homophobe given that their bio says they're 24, meaning they would have been 14 whole years old at the time? Come on
