Lol, for real though, sisters are the best. I still talk to mine at least once every week about Odyssey and my Odyssey AUs, and they genuinely keep me going <3

Characters from our world are transported to another realm, expected to play the roles they are assigned. Unbeknownst to them, their performances are monitored by the mysterious sorcerer who brought them there in the first place. And, any performance less than "unsatisfactory" will lead to dire consequences, as some soon find out...
Meanwhile, they try to figure out how they've been transported, in the hopes of being able to go home before any serious harm comes to anyone.

I may have made a Life Series AU that I didn't main tag for AIO. Featuring... well, a couple people, but mainly Bernard (because I'm me lol). I've done art and made up character duos and I even made an OC! So yeah, I'm owning up to it finally lol

I hope everyone in the AIO fandom here knows that I obsessively search the tag for new posts like probably once an hour. I maintag almost everything in case others do the same. if you post something under the tag I will be seeing it and most likely interacting with it (if I have the time at the moment lol). I want to talk to everyone!!! The brain worms have taken over!!!! Any time I get a tumblr notif my heart genuinely leaps into the sky that’s how much I love all my moots and other friends 💕
This is obviously a very biased take but I've found the tumblr AiO fandom to be the best AiO fandom space I've tried. Facebook, while active feels not as personal, very repetitive, and I've come across a lot of (imo) bad takes I disagree with, and I'm always worried anything I post there will get seen by Phil Lollar. While it is nice to see a creator involved with the fandom and I don't want him to stop, I also don't want to worry about them seeing my dumb posts, complaints, headcanons, etc. It's not a bad space by any means, but not something I enjoy in anything more than a brief glance at every few weeks. The club message boards are moderated and filled with children. Other places like forums are basically dead and get new content maybe once a month if you're lucky. Places like A03 are great for content, but are also very one sided and don't have much in the way of conversation. Tumblr, while small has been a fantastic fandom. I love my moots, and while I have taken a hiatus here or there I always want to come back. It's a very active fandom and is always filled with entertaining content, great friends, and fulfilling discussions. While I miss some of my old mutuals, who have either left tumblr, gone on indefinite hiatus, or just stepped away from the aio fandom, meeting new friends to share my love of AiO is so so exciting. I love listening to an Odyssey episode and when I hear certain character I can go "Oh that's _____'s favorite character." Especially because I don't have anyone I can geek out about AiO in person. Overall it's a very encouraging and friendly corner of the fandom and I wouldn't trade it for the world 💜

I would like to say that I also have absolutely LOVED this Tumblr space, it’s been my favorite AiO community I’ve gotten to interact with so far. It’s so safe, open, and friendly. It’s full of people who genuinely love the show and want to talk about it and are creative and have something to add and discuss in good faith. Everyone is so supportive and engaging and I thank you all for welcoming me as well, as I didn’t know all of you before joining.
Anyway, again sorry for hijakcking as well but I just felt like k should say that and say thank you so there we go.

AIO fandom was the reason I ended up joining Tumblr, way back in the day (my first post is dated March 14 of 2020, lol), and I've watched a lot of people come and go in the fandom. But this is still my favorite fandom space to interact with, and I'm so glad to see how it's grown. I'm grateful to have people to talk about AIO with, especially since moving far away from my family (who I've always shared Odyssey talk with). This has been great, and I'm looking forward to even more as time goes on! ^_^
Does Whit limit the amount of contact the kids can have with adult Jesus in the imagination station. Every time we've seen adventures to Jesus's ministry the time we get to spend with Jesus is often very limited and/or from afar. The only character I can think of who got some significant time with Jesus might be Lucy in an Adventure in Bethany. (although if I'm right about my scene transition theory then it actually wasn't that much time)
I can see how that can be useful/easier from a writing standpoint, but in-universe I wonder if it's also intentional.
He probably didn’t program Jesus enough in order to use him a whole lot on account of the fact Whit would have a hard time justifying trying to impose his beliefs and biases onto a character who is the rock and foundation of the Christian belief, would be my guess. He wanted to leave him a more vague and distant figure within the context of The Imagination Station. Except for those couple of times perhaps… but then i suppose you could still say it was Whit speaking through him.
It’s a really weird thing for sure 😅 there are so many implications with the Imagination Station that deserve to be looked at…
Ngl this is part of the reason why I'm so strongly supportive of the whole "The Imagination Station is a time machine" theory.
@i-like-too-many-things-rip-lmao is kinda right, it feels like purely programming Jesus Christ in the Station borders on blasphemy/worshipping graven images. Plus you can very easily run into the same issue Jason did in "A Touch of Healing", where kids want to stay in the Imagination Station because it's the only place they can see Jesus. Which Whit would never stand for! He'd dismantle the Station before he'd let that happen!
My dad (who is also an AIO nut) had a theory/headcanon that the Imagination Station is time travel, but that there's still programming and virtual reality involved. That includes:
Translation (which is why the same characters sound different in different programs/why some people sound like Odysseyans)
Making you look like you're from that time period (not all the programs have this)
Protocols to keep users from actually changing the timeline (though, as heard in "The Potential in Elliot", it sometimes slips up)
Some programs have more or less actual programming involved, and there probably are some that are just virtual reality (I believe there was one in the books that was just pure fairytale fantasy). But overall, the Imagination Station is a time machine. Whit, and eventually Eugene and Jason, are the only ones who know this.
(I haven't thought about how this affects the whole Blackgaard virus thing, but it could be really cool)

2026 is the 15 year anniversary of Album 53: The Green Ring Conspiracy, and I’m planning on putting together an open submission zine of fan art and short fanfics centered around that saga to celebrate!!
