Concept doodles inspired by @dchuntress 's idea of the Beaubier Twins as selkies

Artist notes, from me rolling with the concept:

--extra plush coats (seal coats are naturally plush when dry, but these are even more so, because why not)

--Both twins are city folk, and I can't imagine them as not, so their selkie pelts are naturally incorporated into more glam outfits that blend in amongst regular people. They wear their pelts around on occasion, to stay safe by keeping them within reach at all times. Though there was one time an animal rights activist dumped a bucket of paint on JP. It took weeks of scrubbing and ungodly amounts of dawn dish soap to get all the paint out

-- their seal forms are specifically the Lacs des Loups Marins/Ungava Seal, a subspecies of Harbor Seal that lives exclusively in freshwater year-round. (The concept of JP being perpetually grossed out by seawater and those in the know being like "??? but you're a selkie?!" made me laugh stupid hard. Aurora doesn't mind it so much, because ocean is big and fun to explore, but she does prefer the freshwater trout she's used to)
