Let me share the problem about cats occuring in Japan.
According to Animal Acution Fund (ĺ Źç貥ĺŁćłäşşăŠăăśă¤ĺşé), currently, in Japan, the Ministry of the Environment is trying to designate Ieneko (domestic cats and stray cats in the neighborhood) as "alien species to promote control".
Despite the lack of evidence that cats are causing the decline of rare native species, the government is trying to easily kill cats under the pretext of a World Heritage Site (especially in Okinawa and Amami).
The target includes not only stray cats, but also TNR cats and cats that go outside.
Even the cats kept entirely indoors, it become subject to extermination if they escape outside.
To begin with, cats are animals that cannot be designated as "Specified Invasive Alien Species."
Ieneko(domestic cat) is an animal that has lived with people in Japan for 2,000 years.
The Ministry of the Environment itself explains that the measures against alien species are mainly "living things brought in after 1868", so this does not apply to cats.
It is wrong thing animals that have lived with humans for 2000 years as targets for extermination.
Protecting rare native species is important, but the lives of cats are just as precious.
It should be carried out through this humanitarian and scientific method, not by taking lives.
It is wrong to blame specific animals for the ecosystems and nature that humans have destroyed.

Data, knowing something of how human minds work, estimates that Riker will give him 60 seconds to come back (because humans prefer âround numbersâ, however arbitrary the units). After 60 seconds it will take 4 seconds for Riker to fully process the conclusion that Data is, in fact, not coming back after all, and an additional 9 seconds to build to the optimum level of anxiety.Â

there's never enough money each month. there's always an unexpected illness. new symptoms pop up or old symptoms flare up. meds have to be managed always and refilled constantly and any refill has the opportunity to go wrong. any regular care has the opportunity to go wrong. any mistake can send your health spiralling. it's always "i just need to get through this bad patch" but as soon as one ends another begins. another crisis begins in the middle of the last crisis. managing one thing leaves another thing to be neglected until that becomes a major issue and has to be managed asap and the cycle starts anew over and over and over
