"She [Nesta] pulled away the cloth. Ancient, beaten gold gleamed, and Helion hissed as a cold, strange power filled the room, whispering like a chill breeze. Helion whirled to Nesta, all sensuality vanished. 'You truly wore this and lived?'"
-A Court Of Silver Flames: Chapter 41
Nesta: What? Like it's hard?
Nesta anytime there's a minor inconvenience: *summons the Mask*
Nesta trails her fingers along Cassian's body whenever she walks up to him in public. His shoulders, arms, hands, chest, and her personal favorite, his wings
Lord Devlon thought he understood who and what Cassian was. A General, an Illyrian, a Warrior, he might still be a bastard, but some things can't be helped.
I wonder how much that changed after he learned that Cassian and Nesta were mates. Nesta is something completely foreign, possibly a witch, and has proved herself just as deadly as their illustrious general.
If Cassian and Nesta are true equals and two sides of the same coin, what does that mean to the Illyrians? Does it make them question how they've always seen Cassian? Does it explain, at least in some part, why he needs seven siphons? Should they be more afraid of him than they've been before? Or at the very least stop calling him a dog?
I would love to see a plot line in Elain's book where she befriends some of the other library priestesses, the ones who don't find self defense training to be healing. Maybe that means some of them want to become spies or others who want to root out the corruption in the other temples by the High Priestesses that Ianthe and her sisters spread throughout the land
I wonder if after the Blood Rite, Emerie started bringing other women and girls from Windhaven to the House of Wind to train with her and the priestesses?
Cassian: who here is hunting, chasing, lusting after, or otherwise pursing my mate?

“I was taken away from her when I was three. Thrown out into the snow. And in her so-called disgraced state, she became prey to other monsters.”
- Cassian
This makes me wonder, if his mother became prey to other monsters, is it possible she bore another child and had it taken away like Cassian? Could he have a half-brother out there?
I'm so curious about how Cassian would react to running into one of Nesta's past hookups while they're out at Rita's
Nesta Made three Magic Blades. One for each sister perhaps?
The way Talia abandoned Xadan is abominable and unforgivable, but you can't convince me that Faris isn't actively abusing her and using her son's as a form of control
Maeve sent Rowan to Mistward to break Aelin, but in the end they healed each other one step at a time
It's not surprising to me how quickly Violet was able to learn to ground and shield herself from Tairn and Andarna.
She's been grounding herself since she was a kid by reciting facts and treaties to stay calm during turbulent emotions. Just like staying grounded so her power doesn't overwhelm her.
She's been shielding herself from the physical and emotional pain by compartmentalizing all those feelings into a little box. Now she's compartmentalizing Tairn and Andarna's emotions so she can stay focused on the moment here and now
Book One Dain Aetos is the physical embodiment of "the road to hell is paved with good intentions"
His heart might have been in the right place, but he still made the worst possible decisions everytime he tried to keep Violet safe
