Now that OITNB is ending...
i'd like to ask the fandom to, at least, check out GLOW. It's another Netflix series, by the same creator of Orange. You should consider it for the reasons:
It's a really interesting story. It's (loosely) based on an actual women's pro wrestling show from the 80s. You don't need to know how wrestling works to follow it, i didn't (tho it sure made me a fan of the sport)
Like OITNB, it's centered around mostly female characters, with a diverse and awesome cast, including an actual wrestler.
It's a funny comedy, "softer" than Orange i'd say (given the themes), but still gets serious every now and then.
It has a lesbian character and another gay storyline that's more dramatic, both introduced on season 2, (i won't say more to not give spoilers)
The critical praise is good (if that matters to you)
Season 3 will be released on August 9 and i'm REALLY afraid it's gonna get cancelled afterwards
Killer soundtrack, great visuals, amazing costume desing (if that matters to you)
