ooc: I'm sorry to have come back to a serious topic, but I think we need to draw a line here:

As roleplayers, none of us are equipped to respond to something as grave as suicide. When someone is contemplating something like that, you run the risk of saying the wrong thing in character. If you compromise the character to share your viewpoint, though, that also runs the risk of sounding too preachy to the person you want to communicate with.

Rather than talk to someone as a fictional character, it really would be best to approach anyone struggling with suicidal ideation as oneself.

Also, please do not put the onus of helping someone on us as strangers to another; some of us muns wish to remain anonymous and we cannot respond to every request as if we have the qualifications to do so.

I know that people are working with good intent, but do not trivialize something like this as an issue that can be resolved with a few cute asks.
