I might add like one or two more people in the background, but need to start working on the foreground…I’m not even showing it, it looks bad right now. Do you like my busy people and busy town?
Made moon and stars out of scrap wood, yarn, paint, and beads for some added bling. Got the inspiration from another artist and Eli :)
Bracelets! Mostly beach themed before the end of summer.
Nice.
Finished an elegant piece. Necklace made of stone, rose quartz, pearl, silver accent.

Last weekend in the woods and mountains, this weekend in the largest US city.
Top of Looking Glass Rock trail in the pisgah forest.
First stop is Blacksburg VA. We hit up the Cellar, which had a decent beer list (pictured People's Porter) and them the new Blacksburg Tap House (pictured giant ass onion rings) before crawling some of the more local spots. Weather days snow but we are still holding out for hiking tomorrow.
Right Proper Brewing - Ornette Beers & Chalk Wall
We stopped in for drinks and dinner. Top of the list for food was the Chick Filet Sandwich and the fries. The wings were good, though the dressing seemed to be a little watered down. The Brussels had a lot of flavor, but were a little rawer than preferred. The Chicken Liver Pate and Pickle Plate were decent.
The Ornette and Skibsol were both very well done beers. The beer lineup this night was more session friendly, which is great, though having one a little heftier wouldn't have hurt (all the Right Proper beers on tap were no bigger than 4%, seems we missed some of the standards).
Place was bigger than expected and was decently packed. We had a two hour wait however that went by fast since we hung at the bar. Interior is simple and nicely done.
Overall great first visit, and will definitely be back. Especially considering we didn't get to try their full range of beers. Sticker definitely going on the truck.
Girl Scouts of the USA will mark the start of Girl Scout Cookie season with an event in New York City on February 7, 2014. To celebrate, weâve gathered a collection of cookie-and-beer pairings from around the web. Suggestions from The Beer Chicks include these pairings: Caramel DeLites (aka Samoas) with Maui Brewing Co.âs CoCoNut
