fyi, the "A" on the jersey stands for "alternate" and not "assistant". it's like vice captain for if the captain is, for example, kicked from the game for a misconduct. also if the captain gets injured for a period of time, the person with the A will wear the C for the games the regular captain is out. it's different from the notion of an "assistant" captain to me.

the most beautiful part about the way heated rivalry has truly healed this website is that im seeing god tier level posting from people with urls that span across dozens of fandoms... we've got the spn and the tjlc and the real hockey rpfers and the iwtv and hannibal sufferers.... im seeing old bandom urls i havent seen in years.... the directioners and the beatles rpfers... the swifties and the stuckies... everyone in harmony <3

i keep thinking about lifelong ottawa fans who randomly get one rockstar player moving to their city one year, seemingly by choice because there's no real explanation provided, and then a couple years later the best player in the league 3x cup winner also moves there for non-hockey reasons

like hockey fans tolerate insane sht in order to acquire mediocre players, no way people who care about winning would be anything but pumped about that outcome. only the most dedicated homophobe would object to having the top players in the league on their team.

trying to keep my commentary on the hockey yaoi to a minimum but I am crying laughing at the episode 6 Hollanov relationship status conversation where they establish that they've accidentally become monogamous because they've fallen too intensely in love with each other, and that they want to rearrange their professional lives so they can live closer and have more excuses to see each other, and then perhaps stay together forever and maybe come out publicly after they retire, but NOT, I repeat NOT, that they are boyfriends

love it when a new gay people show comes along and half of my mutuals are immediately reblogging gifsets and well thought out posts analyzing scenes etc and the other half is like “i ain’t watching that”and also there’s a group saying “remember when dean tried to kill himself after cas died and then in the very next episode gleefully made them both wear cowboy hats after cas got brought back”
