my neighbour is renovating his apartment, so i had to flee our apartment to get away from the insane noise :-) hence, i worked on my thesis in a coffee shop and the library yesterday.
tolstoy saying in an 1873 letter that he’d be done with anna karenina “in fifteen days, if god grants me life” and then taking another four years to finish writing it is both hilarious and deeply relatable
Adoring my chaos a lot. Drowning in studies for latin. But things will be alright.

hey there - i've been so busy lately that i haven't had time to unwind and to relax. fourth year has been exhausting to say the least (and it's only the first semester)
I've been studying non stop this past few days because exam season is coming for me and I'm not ready (like at all).

i'm feeling absolutely overwhelmed - essays due every week; online, recorded and in-person lectures to juggle, tests to prepare for. i'm also dealing with a lecturer that seems to get enjoyment from seeing us struggle with, honestly, a very inaccessible module. have you guys had lecturers that just seem to love being condescending and doing the barest of the bare minimum?

lately some sort of sickness came over me and i feel like a child that needs constant attention and help with the smallest things. my muscles are sore, throat dry, cough is wet, headache never leaves me and just an overall tiredness. the worst thing about it though, is that this week is my first assignment for ancient history and i have to balance my need of rest with writing and studying for it. ☕️🧦🕰

my semester starts next week and i’m terrified and excited at the same time — mostly stressed because of everything else going on in my life but also because i’m finally writing my thesis this year and it scares me; with my thesis seminar i only have two other courses: swedish and environmental & economic anthro
