@luna-dea
so I got into grad school today with my shitty 2.8 gpa and the moral of the story is reblog those good luck posts for the love of god
okay so i just got my dream job??? a week after applying to it?? and now i’m thinking….maybe this is the good luck post
…..not even six hours later i got an offer of a well paying full time long-term job with free room and board in queens in nyc, allowing me independence and a way to escape an abusive situation and an unhealthy environment
likes charge reblogs cast, folks, this is the good luck post
i need all the help i can get for finals
Hey so
the last time I reblogged this post right before I got a great job, in a permanent work-from-home position, with benefits, retirement, and a salary literally 3x what I was making before, doing something I really like.
So you know.
This might be the real one, y’all.
I could use some luck
the thing about fiber art that nobody tells you about is that every single kind of fiber art is a gateway drug to other kinds of fiber art.

I forget if I showed the beautiful Tyrian purple that they made in the synthesis chemistry lab that I collaborated with at the art museum. They’ve been synthesizing mostly blue pigments and dyes from throughout history. This was my first time seeing Tyrian purple in person and I was so excited!
Historically it was made from murex snails and was hugely expensive and used by royalty, but chemically it’s similar to indigo so the class was able to create it in the lab without snails.
alright I've got to do some quick math to explain attitudes towards AI to my boss.
we're looking to create an AI policy, and when we were talking about this, my boss (older millennial) was genuinely shocked to hear that younger people do not (seem) to view AI positively (a la the recent commencement speakers being booed)
please rb for larger sample size!
Question 1/3
What is your age, and do you feel AI is a net positive or net negative in our lives today?
under 18, AI is a net positive
under 18, AI is a net negative
18-29, AI is a net positive
18-29, AI is a net negative
30-45, AI is a net positive
30-45, AI is a net negative
46-60, AI is a net positive
46-60, AI is a net negative
over 60, AI is a net postive
over 60, AI is a net negative
Question 2/3
How often do you visit or interact with museums/archives (whether in person or online)?
Frequently (multiple times per month)
Often (multiple times per year)
Occasionally (a couple times per year)
Rarely (once every couple of years)
Never :(
Question 3/3
If you saw a museum was using AI in exhibits, marketing, research, etc., would you be more or less inclined to visit that museum?
under 18, more inclined
under 18, less inclined
18-29, more inclined
18-29, less inclined
30-45, more inclined
30-45, less inclined
46-60, more inclined
46-60, less inclined
over 60, more inclined
over 60, less inclined
Thank you for helping with this data collection. Please rb for as big a sample as possible!

SHABBOS IS COMING! WE'RE SO HAPPY! WE'RE GONNA SING AND SHOUT OUT LOUD. SIX DAYS A WEEK WE WAIT FOR SHABBOS A GIFT FROM HASHEM AND WE'RE SO PROUD. SING IT TOGETHER: SHABBOS.
whisper it together: shabbos.
SHOUT IT TOGETHER: SHABBOS.
TELL IT TO THE WORLD: SHABBOS KOYDESH!
It’s that time of year again so here is your yearly reminder that the world isn’t ending and people don’t hate you. The sun is just setting at 6 pm.
Please take your vitamin D
HEY SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE GIRLIES, ITS OUR TURN TO ENDURE THE DARK DAYS NOW, BUT STAY STRONG. THE WORLD IS NOT ENDING; THE SUN IS JUST SETTING AT 5-to-6 PM. BUT SHE WILL COME BACK TO US SOON. TAKE A VITAMIN D AND HANG IN THERE.
“Why don’t you use ai” idk man beyond the obvious environmental and “this machine causes psychosis and encourages people to kill themselves” thing I think asking the equivalent of a solid D student who is also a pathological liar if they can answer my question/do the work for me seems pretty fucking stupid
He is my princess diana
13.2K likes on an explicitly antisemitic post, saying that no jews should have ever lived in Palestine past, present and future. The juice box emoji is a dogwhistle for jews because jews and juice sound similar.
If if was just "bad faith actors" who were crossing the line into antisemitism, why the fuck does that post have that many likes.
I mean aside from the blatant lies this post is peddling, it takes a real idiot to understand THAT from the post.
if Israel - where there are arabs and jews living together is lush and green,
and gaza - where they dedicate every resource to murdering jews is desolate, why are you assuming jews existing is the issue lmao
“SJP chapters are independent & autonomous”
And? So is the Klan.
The “autonomous cell” structure is in fact incredibly common among hate groups & extremist organizations for exactly this reason.
Neo-Nazis use it. Terrorist organizations use it. For the same reason White Supremacist violence usually takes the form of “Lone Wolf” attacks.
It’s an entirely intentional & incredibly effective tactic for vast radicalization networks to isolate and limit responsibility for the inevitable fallout of their rhetoric & actions.
every time something like this happens, SJPers inevitably try to hide behind chapters being “independent & autonomous”, as if this is just a problem with that one local chapter.
but practically every chapter has their own separate laundry list of posts like this, either celebrating terror attacks & massacres, or sharing Nazi memes, or hosting rallies that feature convicted terrorists as speakers, & where open support for Hamas et al goes unchallenged, etc. etc.
it’s just that finding and actually presenting all that information takes time & effort, and doing that for every single one is like the world’s most exhausting game of whack-a-mole, while deflecting criticism to the satisfaction of people who’ve already bought in can be done with a single line talking point.
