It was supposed to be a New Year present for my best friend, Masha, but I got a little carried away with my simple sketch and ended up with THIS so it took so much time and it’s closer to becoming a Christmas present now, hahaha (we celebrate it on 7th of January here);

Once, Remus spent his birthday in the hospital wing recovering from a though full moon. Sirius, James and Peter - weren’t allowed there- left a bar of chocolate and a birthday card. Remus, didn’t have the strength to thank them but he held the presents all the time.

- - - - - The philosophy of Kintsugi ( the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold) treats breakage and repair as part of the history of an object, rather than something to disguise. I thought this is perfect for Remus and his scars. I know, probably I’m not the first one who had this idea for Remus, but I still find it really poetic and appropriate for him.
