yuji was like a you magnet. everyone knew if they wanted to find yuji, they had to look for you, because he was always close by.
like now. "yuu," you groaned. "i have work due in the morning."
you know he's pouting before he speaks. "it's not everyday you see me y'know. can't a man show his best friend some love?" his arms tighten around your waist, like he was a koala. seriously, with how tight he was hugging you, you were afraid you'd snap in half.
but for real, it was 2am and you had just began this essay you had to do for yaga. no thanks to itadori, who'd come over at 1pm and spent the day distracting you with popcorn and scary movies and even scarier roblox games. it was only when he was sprawled in your bed, fast asleep, you were reminded of your essay by a study video in instagram reels.
and of course as soon as you were out of bed, he was too, his arms finding their way around your waist like it was the most natural thing in the world. it was like he had a "time to bother my bff" alarm clock in his head.
"yuji we literally go to school together. i do see you everyday." you roll your eyes, ignoring the way he buries his head into the warm flesh of your neck, clearly still sleepy. for a while he's silent, and you think he's gone back to sleep but his low voice starts up again.
"what about on the weekends?" he's whining, making up excuses to keep you with him for longer, as if forever isn't long enough. it makes you giggle, at least.
"you come over on the weekends anyways, even if I ask you not to."
you know he's half asleep when you hear his soft reply of " 's not enough."
you smile in response as you hear his soft snores right next to your ear, your chest moving up and down in sync with his.
trying to teach ranpo how to get to the train station, except his attention span is so bad that the only way you can get him to listen is by planting a trail of sweets so he can follow behind you
(the plan ends up failing- he calls you the next day to whine and complain about how he’s sick of walking and needs you to come pick him up)
thinking about isagi being best friends with your little sister :(((
you bring him to your house for the first time so he can meet your family, which is where he immediately becomes enamoured by perhaps the cutest thing he’s ever seen (apart from you hehe) and of course she ends up loving him. and not because he’s famous, or older, etc… but because he will never say no to playing with her!!
its gotten to the point where if you two are with your baby sister, you cannot leave them alone- unless you want him to be whisked away from you to join her in carrying out a very crucial fairy hunt, one that results in them almost getting lost in the woods.
although it really has been biting into your alone time with your boyfriend, your heart refuses to hold onto any existing annoyance when you walk into your room to see them curled up beside each other on your bed- a purposeful gap left in between, one that was made just for you <3
