Do we have an idea of what the Davenport family does for their dollars? Is it possible the initial connection between the two families may have come through business as well?

Honestly…I don’t really know.  I do know that they’re primarily based in Monaco, but I feel that they have houses elsewhere, as well, and travel whenever they like.  It could be that part of their travel, however, came out of their business, initially?  I’m not sure.  I didn’t really say what they do bc I wanted to 1) leave things open to plotting so ppl could sort of choose 2) suck at occupations for some reason hahaha so I never formally made any decisions for the really rich ppl hahaha

Speaking of which, I’m not sure what the Storms do, either, outside letting their land to farmers/whatever incomes the title may bring in, etc, tbqh.  Since the huge agricultural downturn in England that ruined lots of ppl in similar positions after the industrial revolution, I feel certain they’ve turned to ~something~ else in addition but I never formally decided what it might be tbqh hahaha  Um, if anyone has ideas/suggestions I’d love to hear them bc I suck at coming up with occupations tbqh hahaha  

That being said, it’s 100% open as a result, so that absolutely could have brought them together!

However, I want to advocate for the Davenports and Stroms having done business with each other / known each other for a long time. They obviously run in similar circles and it sounds like at least, with some of their relationships they have all known each other for a while.

Annie!!!!  IM SO EXCITED TO PLAY SISTERS <333333  Ok, so Cedes was 5 when Dot was born and, while I do think she struggled w loosing her status as baby of the family at that age, I know for a fact that she adoREs Dot to no end and would do literally anything for her <33333333333  

And honestly was probs the sister who would get her in trouble and/or sneak her things etc smdh #badinfluence  That being said, though, she also was a good influence in that Cedes will always champion and nurture curiosity and individuality and she was def always there to encourage and assist (not that Dot needed those things ;D)  Now, that being said, she probs had plenty of disagreements w the rest of the family about ‘what was best’ etc so that might’ve made things a lil weird but I s2g her heart’s in the right place <3

ANYWAY, I also know that Gigi and Dot are super close, so idk how the Gigi/Cedes blood feud might impact their relationship?  Cedes is so hurt, she doesn’t want to think about Gigi at aLL, so her tack is just not to speak to her/completely ignore her etc which obv isn’t the best way to handle things but there it is hahahah  So there’s that, too!  ;DDD

Dot loves loves loves Cedes. I honestly believe Dot is the embodiment of all three of her sisters combined at times. HOWEVER, I totally agree that Cedes most likely got Dot into some trouble growing up, but Dot loved every minute of hanging with her older sister! 

I don't think Dot has ever judged Cedes for her decisions in life. She admires each of her sisters and thinks they are each unique in their own way. She loves how confident Cedes is and I feel like, she really really enjoyed when they get to spend time together. I think the hardest part for Dot is that they are all probably not as close as they could be with her, because of the age different. Which, now that she’s in her twenties is probably going to be less of a barrier as she becomes more mature in life!

BUT NO, I deff think these two have had their share of adventures together!

As for the Gigi & Cedes feud - Dot kind of pretends it’s not happening? She doesn’t hold anything against either of them. She’s on team Cedes when she’s with Cedes and team Gigi when she’s with Gigi. Dot totally tries to get them in the same room as often as possible. So, as I told Kate, I am like 100% sure sometimes she set’s up things and doesn’t let Gigi know Cedes will be there and vice versa in hopes to help mend their relationships. So like when she brings them together she’s just like: OH LOOK WHO’S HERE? WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT???? (aka plays dumb and laughs awkwardly, hoping for the best)

Annie, I feel like these two actually have some things in common!  They both like to explore and experience new things and have fun!!  And, I mean, there’s quite an age gap, but I he’s friends w two of her older sisters, and I can potentially see these two developing a sort of friendship over time, maybe?

I definitely think Dot likes being friends with her sisters friends. So, I for sure think she’d go out of her way to become friends with him too just because he’s close with the majority of the Davenports. I can see her liking Mark quite a bit and trying to figure out if he likes one of her sisters, and then even asking him about it. LOL headcanon: Mark and Dot have all the ‘I’m interested in’ conversations. Where Mark tells Dot about his interest in Fiona, but flirtations with Lenora. While Dot tells him about her interests and then they advise each other!!! HAHA

Annie!!!!  These two are cousins!!!!  Idk about you, but I feel like they could potentially be v close, both bc of their ages/baby-of-the-family!status, and bc honestly I feel like they really balance one another well???  Like, Lina def needs someone like Dot to help her take a deep breath and ~enjoy life~ and I feel like Lina could talk sense into Dot on occasion and at least put some antibacterial on those scraped knees ;DDD  Anyway, I’m honestly up for whatever: this is just what came to mind.  Did you have any particular ideas about these two?

After her sisters, Dot loves her cousins the most!!!!! I feel like in all the family gatherings Dot and Lina got paired together. I can see where they have butted heads but also laughed till their cried together. 

Lina is still closer to her sister’s age than her own, but I can see where these two did a lot together growing up and still do? I wouldn’t be surprised if Dot dropped by Lina’s place with her elbows and knees are scrapped and was like: Where’s your antibacterial wipes? I have to tell you ALL about this sweet place I found. While Lina is like: Why aren’t you wearing a coat it’s cold outside???

I feel like when Dot first started school, she went to Lina and was like: PLEASE teach me all your good studying habits. And like, always comes to Lina to help her prep for tests and exams.

so drea def loves and spoils all of her sisters … but let’s be honest, dot is the baby and she def spoiled her the most smh. there’s also a seven year age difference, which is definitely a lot when you are kids, and I feel like drea definitely straddled that line of mother/sister more with dot than with the other two, y’know?

I feel like drea def shows up to all of dot’s family weekends @ university and is constantly sending her care packages and offering to take her out to some exotic place for the weekend if she’s super stressed and needs a break haha

So Dot admires all of her sisters SO MUCH. She definitely looks up to each of them differently and she has special relationships with each other them. I deff feel like Dot kind of sees Drea as her second mom and probably, whenever she’s had a super hard time in life, gone to Drea. Since she’s been a lot more assessable than Cedes and Gigi to her, but in general, I feel like Drea has that mother figure relationship to Dot in her mind. 

AHHH I love all of it the Drea coming to her family weekends, the care packages, taking her away when stressed!!!! Like yes, yes, yes. I feel like when Dot went out to get her apartment, she called up Drea to help her out and often wants to have her over for dinner. I feel like they deff have a weekly coffee date date where they do all their catching up and Dot shows Drea her bruises and shares all her knew knowledge with. LOL

Ok, so I think these two def know each other for a couple reasons hahaha  Ok, so a few years back, I feel like Josh kinda ~thought he was dating Cedes and Cedes kinda thought they were having a fling and like asp the miscommunication became clear hahahaha and Cedes probs freaked right out bc she has commitment issues and yeahhhh things probs ended badly atp but anyway, I’m sure he would’ve made a point of introducing himself to her family, back then, if they didn’t know each other already.  Much more recently, I think he’s started talking to Gigi - I’m gonna talk to Kate about this and figure out more - but anyway, my general point is, I’m sure they know each other hahah  I also feel like Josh would really enjoy Dot’s sense of adventure!!  And probs pass along some of his fav places that he’s visited over the years hahaha

okay, so I think that roland is kinda against the andrea/lionel marriage b/c he doesn’t think they really love each other and “duty to lyndhurst” has never been a good enough reason for roland to do anything, so he just doesn’t get it/thinks it’s a sham/basically is not a fan and will def say his opinions on this to everyone smdh

that being said, I do think that he really does enjoy dot’s company and finds her amusing and likes hanging w/ her. do you think that’s it’s really obvious that she’s got a crush on him, btw?

Yay, I’m glad Roland likes Dot as a person :) Lol. I mean, she's best friends with Anya and is Evelina’s cousin... So they have other people (ish) in common outside of their own siblings! 

Basically, as I wrote in Dot’s bio, I wanna say she’s had a crush on Roland since whenever he dated her cousin. She’s draw to all types of people and well, Roland is super interesting and mysterious to her. I’m sure they see each other often now, because of Anya. I don’t think she’d be super obvious about it? But I feel like, it could be something Roland knows? I can see where Anya actually just told him, but was like, you’re not allowed to date her Ro! 

I mostly think Dot is interested in the idea of Roland and figuring him out and such. So I would say, she’s always sorta been interested in him because he’s a mystery to her. Ok, so I’m gonna basically repeat what I just said to Kate here hahaha bc the same rules apply.  Do you think these two have met before now?  Sophia has been a ghost for the past 8 years, meaning she couldn’t leave Lyndhurst in that time.  I know that Andrea and Lionel have been dating for like 3-ish years atp but I also know that Dot was in school, etc?  If the Storms and Davenports have been associated longer than that, though, Dot might’ve known Sophia while she was alive?  Regardless, though, Sophia would make a point to talk to her when she comes to Lyndhurst.  She loves to get news about the outside world and talk to ppl who aren’t yknow fellow prisoners, essentially hahahah

YESSS they have known each other for a while too!!! I feel like Dot would just think of Vic as her older brother always. Cause he’s fairly older than her... Like eight years, so I imagine, she’s just always considered that way. I’m sure she’s sad for him now, but happy to finally see him back in England, where she can actually give him a hug!

But, HEADCANON: Vic always helping Dot leave a boring party when she was little. Always indulging in her wonder of the world and like making the world more magical for her.

Hm, ok, so eventually, Gabriel and Dot are actually going to be spending a lot of time together. I can actually see Dot being more interested in Verena and Aldus and just wanted to get to know her? Or at least be interested in the woman. She’s ‘same’ age as her sisters, so ... ALSO, I was just thinking, if Verena does take an interest in Anya... perhaps, that’s a way they come in contact as well?

Ok but Annie I can totally see these two running off on ridiculous adventures together and like getting in and out of scrapes together!!!  Anyway, as I said to Lizzy and Kate, I feel like, despite their obv differences, there are actually some similarities between the Davenports and the Winstons, in terms of yknow being a large family full of awesome ladies and I can totally see Cass feeling pr comfortable around them, as a result?  Like, I mean all the wealthy-stuff throws off her groove a lil probs but I feel like she’s come to expect that at Lyndhurst, by now?  And anyway, I just feel like Cass could really get on with the Davenports <3

So I feel like Dot is fond of Lionel. She deff calls him Li lol and I imagine she doesn’t really know that Lionel and Andrea relationship isn’t an ‘in-love-with-you’ relationship? LIKE I feel as if Dot can tell they aren't head over heels, but I imagine that Drea wouldn’t truly disclose much about her relationship with Lionel to Dot. So in Dot’s mind, she just thinks it’s the type of relationship her sister wants. So yeah, I don’t see Dot disliking Lionel, I actually think she’s glad he’s around and that she could probably ask him for any help and he’d do it? 

I mean, he’s been dating Drea for two years, so I’m sure she’s super used to him by now. I can see were Dot already considers him family LOL all three of her sisters are just so much older than her, that I don’t think Dot really questions their relationship decisions nor does she get to hear much about them in general. Or at least hasn’t, maybe now that she’s getting a little older (more mature) and Gigi is living with her things will slowly change. I’m sure if she realized Drea and Lionel really aren’t in love she’d encourage both of them not to marry just because of family principles. However, WHATEVER the case, I’m fully confident that Dot already considers Li her brother. 

Also, I mean, Davenports and Storms have know each other for awhile, so I’m sure Lionel has never been a stranger to her. Oh also, Dot has a crush on Lionel’s younger brother.... lol also eventually she’s gonna enamored by Gabriel Storm so ya know, Dot loves the Storm family. PLUS THERE’S ANYA.

YES I love them so much! <333 I feel like Gigi was a hot mess and confused and didn’t have any idea what to do after her accident so as soon as Dot was like “come here!” she was probably half way to the train station to get to London ASAP. And I feel like Gigi would indulge Dot’s idea at first but finally have to say something she things is soul crushing like “my leg hurts, can we please sit down?” and then feels horrible about it, haha.

I could see her trying to wait up for Dot for awhile but inevitably just giving in and known Liam is following her around or someone is so she needn’t worry TOO much. She totally LOVES that Dot is so involved in school! (And so happy she isn’t a mess like she thinks cedes is but that’s a whole other thing!)

so my thought is Gigi came to stay with Dot right after she had her operation… which keeps her from dancing for at least 3 months, and then there’s still the question of whether the surgery was super successful or not. (I’ve see like.. 3 of these happen since i started working for the ballet!) So at this point she’s fairly mobile, but she just has to take it easy…

and on ANOTHER note… Cedes and Gigi are basically in all out war, not speaking, ignoring each other’s existence. Gigi got angry at her when she got arrested and then got even angrier when she showed up after her injury, since Gigi didn’t want to see anyone. I doubt gigi would talk to dot much about it, but its obviously a thing that’d probably affect them all so… yeah. poor dot and her crazy sisters.

Kate I gave up. LOL hopefully, I can remember everything I wrote the first time!

First things first, Dot looks up to her sisters super much. So she’s just so v happy Gigi is staying with her and has attempted to go along with Dot’s ideas of having fun. I definitely think things have mellowed between them? Where they totally have a routine now. Also, I’m fairly certain Dot loves ending her days curled up next to Gigi watching an old movie <3 

Also, I totally forgot about LIAM! Lol. I love that the Davenports have a bodyguard and Dot deff gives him a run for his money. I imagine, sometimes Liam catches Dot in an act that’ll get her hurt and he just hands her the phone and is like, I dialed Gigi. PLS TALK SENSE INTO HER GIGI ~~probably Liam. 

But no, school has definitely been good for her. I think her studies have really helped her to become more disciplined and care about things? Like before, she just lived a v carefree life and honestly, didn’t know any better? Cause I imagine all three (drea, gigi, and cedes) of her older sisters were protective and so Dot kind of grew up in a bottle in some ways.

As for the Gigi and Cedes feud. Dot basically ignores it. She kind of pretends the girls are on good terms because that’s how Dot wants it. She also sides with the person she’s around? So like, I imagine when Cedes came to check on Gigi (after Gigi moved in with Dot), she was like: AWW HOW NICE OF CEDES RIGHT??? but then if she received any negative feedback she was like: UGH CEDES... SOOO ANNOYING. Lol just cause she’s not sure how to handle it and she just wants everyone to be happy ~~~cause we’re all alive, we just need to love each other guys!! (--dot). I’m also sure she tries to get them to interact “by accident” and then is like, I totally didn’t place this. But yes, Dot isn’t with the current situation but at least all her sisters are close now! So that’s a positive!!

Claudia + Gigi

So, as I’ve already all caps about, I love these two. I feel like even though Dot’s her baby sister, she was probably the very first one Gigi called after her accident in all her distress… Like even though she feels like a huge burden, she’s so happy to be around Dot right now and she’s honesty probably keeping her from being even more depressed about everything that’s happened to her. I sort of feel like Dot’s attitude about life and being from this affluent family is so refreshing to Gigi, she just loves being around her as much as possible. So I feel like since she’s come back to London from Paris, she’s been pretty reclusive? Like even though all their friends are galavanting around London doing things Gigi would normally love to do, she’s just not up for it and would much rather just stay home and make her crazy origami and watch old movies… And that’s part of why she feels like so much of a burden to Dot right now? She’s just sort of super messed up and this injury really screwed with her head and her self confidence and she isn’t taking it particularly well. She honestly was planning on going back to London like a day or so after they all got to Lyndhurst, but obviously all plans changed after the car accident and everything. But yes. All the adorbs about these two! And I’d love to hear your thoughts of course!

Omgosh but Dot adores Gigi. She is supa proud of her sis and like has literally no idea how Gigi is so disciplined to be a ballerina. She’s like Gigi got some mad skills and I could never because I could never sit still and master something seeing as I like to be all over the place ALL THE DAMN TIME. 

No, but really Dot LOVES that Gigi called her first. She was probably like: Gigi come home and live with me PRONTO. Like, I’ve got myself an extra bedroom, which we can make yours. She basically secretly loves Gigi living with her and wouldn’t have it any other way! <3 I imagine she spent those first few weeks just trying to cheer Gigi up. But in all the wrong ways that included Gigi having to walk around but that didn’t work well at all. I’m sure they’ve gotten into a pattern now where Dot isn’t constantly trying to get Gigi to go outside with her. In which she gets that Gigi IS happy to stay home and watch old movies while making origami.

What you should know though, is Dot comes home at all different times of the day with her wild hair all over the place. Like I imagine she rolls back in at midnight or at 3 am or 9 am. She’s super into her classes/learning, so she often ends up holding all-day or all-night (depending on how her day went) sessions to complete her homework or just read. She tends to act before she thinks and tends to get easily carried away but it’s because she’s always looking for something to do and likes to keep her mind active. 

So basically, when Gigi first moved in, Dot spent the following two days reading up everything she could about her sister’s injury and worked to be as helpful as she could be. She loves her Gigi<3
