We’re literally raised from our childhood to become capital. We don’t provide the capital, the work force, we become it. We have turned efforts to survive in the wild into efforts to survive in a capitalistic world without mercy. I’d rather get slaughtered by a wolf while enjoying my day rather than get slaughtered by another man for the three dollars in my wallet.

So I was walking our dog with my mom, she was smoking, it was a nice, breezy night, all was fine, until she’d finished her cigarette, stomped on it and was ready to walk away. I picked up the stub to throw it in a trash can which was just a few feet away.

My mother gave me a stern look and insisted that I put it back down. She went as far as saying that she wouldn’t move until I put the stub back down. I ignored her and threw the stub into the trash can. My mother was furious. She called me a lunatic and we didn’t exchange a single word for the rest of the walk.

What staggers me is that my mother would literally rather litter on her “own terms” than let me pick up the stub and throw it away for her. She was literally trying to FORCE ME into littering. And yes, in her mind it may be just a tiny cigarette stub, but do that a hundred times and you have a hundred cigarette stubs lying around. Hell, even the one can do enough damage on its own, even if only on a small scale. Frankly, I don’t think we can even afford “small scale” anymore, we shouldn’t even be having this conversation.

Littering is a huge problem. It saddens me how we fail to get our lazy arses to do just about anything, even something as simple as cleaning up a stupid stub after ourselves to help the environment.

No wonder our planet is dying.

Fellow Whites, I feel like we need to take a chill pill, get our shit together and let people live, no matter how different they are. No matter our colour, religion, no matter our gender, no matter our sexuality, we are still the same people and we are equal. Get it together Whites! Bless those who already have.
