Hey guys,

I really hope to blog a lot more from this day on. It’s just been very difficult to have this whole new life of being a mother and a wife and trying to balance everything together. But I do intend to blog a lot more. Please message me and let me know what kind of things you guys are interested in seeing. I would love to get some ideas! Anyway.. here are a few photos my sister took right before winter. I know I’m very late with posting these but now that I look back I just love the light in these photos.

Here's my son at almost eight months during bath time. I know I haven't been blogging in about a year or so but hopefully with this new year I can start again! Especially with the new camera my husband got me for Xmas. Love him <3

Winter

This morning I peered out my window and noticed that the entire city was covered in a white sparkly blanket. When I stepped out through my wardrobe I entered this magical new world. #Kabul #YesThisisStillAfghanistan

My favorite meal of the day...

Homemade french toast is my favorite!!

Here’s how to make them- 

ingredients:

two eggs, milk, bread, vanilla extract, and your choice of berries or fruits

1- Mix two eggs with 2/3 cup of milk and 1 tsp vanilla extract

2- Dip both sides of your bread into the mix and then fry both sides on a pan until slightly golden

3- layer your french toast with your fruits, powdered sugar and maple syrup

Judging a person does not define who they are. It defines who you are. 

I haven't blogged in so many months for maybe many reasons. I guess this pregnancy changed certain things for me. For me to come out and share my photos with you guys was not very easy, after my pregnancy. Sharing my body with my baby does not make it easy for me to be as public as I used to be. I haven't felt comfortable with the judgements people online have been making about my baby or my marriage. The things that have been said has been very strong statements that I've allowed to affect me, maybe its just the hormones thats affecting me.  I guess I didn't want to hear anyones opinion about my baby anymore so I preferred not being so open about my life. After some time I just realized I don't care any more. So go ahead and make your judgments.

Hello everyone!! Oh how I've missed blogging... I've been busy adjusting to my new life with my husband, Sebastian. Not only did I get married recently but I moved from the States to Montreal. This city has so much to offer and so many new places to explore. Sebastian has been an amazing guide, taking me to new little places to dine. Biking or walking through streets makes me feel like I'm in Paris or New York City at times. It's amazing to be in a place that has an atmosphere that is so rich in both American and French culture; I love that we can have the best of both worlds!

California love... It's been a few days since my sisters and I have been in SoCal and even though I'm no stranger to the area, I always fall in love with the atmosphere of California all over again. While meandering about in LA, there's been one dress that I had been dying to show you guys and wear on this trip. This Soul.eil vintage dress feels like it was meant to be worn in the Hollywood Hills. With the bold colors and vintage shapes and lines, it feels like the perfect old school piece for our current setting. And right now... it has to be my favorite dress!
