Everytime i think “things can’t get really worse than that” during my reading of A Conjuring of Light, i end up being violently proven wrong. But that’s what makes me love a book and feel connected with the characters isn’t it? I may be a literary masochist, who knows?

in this universe there are still four londons, but alicorns are the only ones capable of moving between them. they don’t have black eyes, though, just wings and a horn to signify their status. (i also gave them cutie marks with the colors of all four londons!)
red london mostly consists of unicorns who can do elemental magic. just like canon
white london has both pegasi and unicorns, but most pegasi can't fly (bc flight magic is failing) and most unicorns can't do magic at all. this has led its citizens to favor amplifiers or try dark spells on their horns and wings, resulting in a lot of broken-looking horns and ruined wings in makt
grey london is mostly full of earth ponies and pegasi (who also can't fly because there is no flight magic). there are no unicorns in grey london and most people think they're just a myth
Rhy! - Rhy was born an earth pony and has no magic, but he has the people's hearts and alucard emery's. his cutie mark is a crown with hearts because he genuinely loves his people <3
Kell! — Kell is obviously an alicorn; he was born a unicorn and his wings grew in when he was five.
While he's extremely talented with magic, he's not a huge flier and doesn't use his wings too often. To him, his wings represent his alicorn-ness so he doesn't love showing them off.
Alucard ! — Alucard is a noble unicorn with the rare affinity for three elements. He's taller than most unicorns and has the long, thin tail often associated with royalty in their world. His cutie mark reflects his link to the House of Emery with the feather
Holland! - Holland is the white london alicorn, originally born a pegasus, he had the rare ability (in makt) to actually fly. his horn grew in later the day he got his cutie mark. the shield represents his magical talent and the fact he wants more than anything, to protect his world.
Lila! — Despite being born a pegasus, Lila has never been able to fly because grey london has no flight magic. When she first gets to red london, she's able to fly for the first time and absolutely falls in love with it! She also has a scar on her forehead, suspiciously where a horn might be. But despite not having one, she's still able to conjure magic. the mystery of how she does magic without a horn probably drives kell crazy lol. also she's a much faster flier than kell which annoys him to no end haha! she is totally the princess of knives
