Anatomy of a Fall- Restaurant scene outtakes
French friends, is anyone of you willing to share the deleted scenes from Anatomy of a Fall dvd, that was released in France in December? Dvd with bonus scenes will be released for international fans in May, but it would be great not having to wait over 2 months..
I saw it on Twitter the other day and I haven't stopped thinking about it since

This is going to be a long-ish post, but I honestly feel like the EW interview with NCW has the majority up in arms about when he said âoh noâ and begins to elaborate on the reasons behind leaving⌠am I the only one who doesnât think this is anti-braime at all???
He does not say at least once that it was a bad idea, a mistake, or a one night stand. He explains straight after that the reality of the situation hits Jaime - they are all still at war with his Queen. He never once pledged himself to Danaerys. For Jaime, his sister (not his âloverâ anymore - they never kissed or declared their love down in the tunnel) was about to get annihilated by Dragon fire: a scene he is all too familiar with from the time of the Mad King and his threats of Wild fire, not to mention he also fought against Dany when she burnt the Lannister troops.
Jaime had a duty to uphold, he always had high regards to his family and what family means to him, and when reality hits him that this is more complicated than what it is; acting on instinct to make love to Brienne after all of these years, is a big step for them both and there is no going back.
As a fully dedicated Braime shipper, that âoh noâ does not in any way shape or form indicate to me that their time together was never meant to happen. Of course it was meant to happen, it was the circumstances that followed. It was the situation he put them both in. He WOULD have stayed with Brienne, and for a time he did in WF - even Tyrion made a point of how happy he was, and Jaime himself must have decided to stay on the terms that he was a âguest of the Lady of Winterfellâ. It was the fact that Jaime thought he COULDNT have this âalternative lifeâ with Brienne, not that he didnât want it, is what lead him back to Cersei. Jaime did bad things in Cerseiâs name and also witnessed the crimes that Cersei had committed, they had a complicated bond that he obviously felt somewhat responsible and guilty for all of these things happening - having all of those feelings emerge after spending a period of peace with Brienne after the battle must have hit hard.
Yes he died protecting his Queen, but she was also his sister. Jaime never left Brienne because he didnât love or belong with her - he thought that he couldnât be with her because of the dishonourable man he thought he was. To me, that âoh noâ represents a sad realisation that Jaime couldnât have the life he wanted with Brienne. Thatâs the tragedy behind it all.
I support this with all my heart.
IF...
in episode 6 it is revealed that it was Jaime who rang the bells I think I will forgive the writers the infamous "i don't care about the innocents" line.
Release Nikolaj's interviews goddammit!
I want to know what he has to say about Jaime's end. I want him to explain why he liked the ending(maybe his explanation will make the ending more bearable).
And most importantly, I want someone to ask him what was the point of Jaime's relationship with Brienne. I am really curious about what he has to say about that.
You know what is the only thing I want to happen in episode 6?
It's someone, preferably Tyrion to tell Brienne that Jaime loved her and cared for her, that she was his chance for happiness, that he simply was unable to take. That their time together MEANT something. We've been robbed of some kind of Braime confession of feelings scene and I really want Brienne to know, that she wasn't just "taste-of-another-woman" test for Jaime. It probably won't happen tho, but a girl can dream.
I told Nikolaj (Coster-Waldau) that when Jaime is telling Brienne about how everything heâs done, heâs done for Cersei. And as he was saying his lines, we went into Brienneâs close-up, Gwendoline's close-up, and there was a moment where she is just watching him, at the very end. And I walked over to Nikolaj and I said, 'The last thing I want you to tell her is that you donât love her anymore'. And of course, he was essentially saying this to her anyway, in some respect, but she didnât expect to hear it directly.Â
Gwendoline didnât expect that moment, and she just lost it. It was something very special. Sometimes surprising an actor in a good way like that can actually create a response youâre not expecting. And with those two, theyâre very close as well, so I knew something like that would affect her character as well.

Nutter on Monday revealed what insights he gave the actors to help make these moments so special, specifically when he helped ...
