the thing abt the original young justice is that they’re CRAZY. wdym their like first initial mission was to protect this government secret and instead they RECRUITED HER and now that government agency is one of their recurring villains. like this was before cissie cassie or anita came into the picture. it was three teenage boys tasked with guarding a government transport vehicle (iirc it’s been a sec since i read the comic) and when they failed and released the ghost the government was trying to hide they went “well. ours now” emotionally even if not physically. actually insane to me how thrown under the rug greta is bc WHAT.

does anyone know that tim drake fic where tim gets kidnapped and the bats are trying to find him, and meanwhile tim is like "ah, yet another kidnapping" and rescues himself and he's like, in china with no shoes or smth, and he messages jason about goons or smth instead of saying he's safe bcs he doesn't realise they're looking, meanwhile bruce and steph are on a plane for him or smth; also at some point while the bats were looking for tim they called his team and the team was like "oh yeah, tim will be fine, kidnapped is just another tuesday for him, besides, he wouldn't want to miss gar's lasagne" or whatever and later when kon picks tim up tim was actually going to fly straight to his team for lasagne but he ends up having kon drop him off at the cave

anyways i can't find this fic and it's driving me CRAZY
