Ninjago's chosen medium of Lego people means that all characters' ethnicities are up for debate, if not entirely, then at least partially, so all non-visually fantasy races have this weirdly neutral equality about them which makes them kinda same-y, but also allowing you to project onto them whatever you want.

And I find it very ammusing that, despite all that, and despite their both being very standard human minifigs, no matter what you do Lloykita is an interracial relationship. Just no getting around that one.

100% youre right. Expanding on that it makes me so sad that the ninjago fandom misses out on the Formling lore they could create. Whats their culture like? Mythology? Traditions? Religion?. Like. What exactly is Jurassic World: Returns?

It's a story I wrote, based on Jurassic World and its characters. The plot takes place one year after JW Rebirth and shows Maisie, Violet, Fallon, Owen, Claire, and others facing a world that no longer cares about dinosaurs. Throughout the story, we see three different points of view:

1. Maisie, Violet, and their group of friends facing the dangers of a forest they must escape before savage raptors catch them.

2. Owen and Claire confront a situation related to Owen's past, delving into their motivations and their relationship as husband and wife.

3. The final perspective is that of Zendor, a completely new villain who seeks to use dinosaurs for malevolent and sadistic purposes. It would be a spoiler to say why it relates to the other two stories, but I can say that he hates the Human-Raptor relationship that Owen and Maisie practice.

- The story combines action, horror, romance, and a touch of comedy. I've tried to keep the characters' personalities from the films, but at the same time, I wanted to change some things about them to improve their character development.

- This story is available on Wattpad and Ao3, in both English and Spanish. Updates will be frequent until the story reaches its end. I hope you can give it lots of support.

One good thing about having a very large extended family is that it gives you examples of what different kinds of lives can look like.

I never thought it was weird growing up for someone to never get married or have kids because one of my uncles did that. I never thought it was weird to be vegan because one of my cousins did that. I never thought it was weird to have a mixed race family because I had cousins and aunts and uncles with mixed race families. I never thought it was weird to be divorced because several of my family members got divorced. And their ex husbands and ex wives still showed up to family gatherings. I never thought it was weird for a woman to have short hair and dress masculine because one of my aunties did that.

I kind of had to become the transgender cousin admittedly but you know what now I’m the transgender cousin and there’s an example for the younger generation that being trans is just something you can be.

Saw it yesterday during opening night and im glad i enjoyed it. I thought I would end up disliking the D.rex but it really fit into the tone of the movie. Scarlett was good in her role. Fun to watch, had the aesthetics of Jurassic park 2.

i just have some thoughts about the scenario we were thrown into and how the biggest potential of the franchise (dinos all over the world) was thrown over board, not a single mention of any of the older characters other than Alan grant as well…

unpopular yasammy take: I don’t want the engagement arc to happen in s3 unless there is a major timeskip. the girls got over their rough patch maybe 1 month ago at MOST in current day. I want there to be way more build up showing us their repaired dynamic and how they balance each other through all the difficult emotions they’ve been facing these past two seasons. I want to see more moments that prove they’ve properly healed the cracks and have good communication again. I want to see them face an issue and tackle it head on. any engagement arc right now will feel like they’re rushing head first into a new commitment when they’re both still rebuilding months of trust that they lost from the miscommunication era. which is absolutely not what I want to see in a couple I want to last forever and ever
