Day 1
“What do you mean I need to get antibiotic shots for a week?!” You exclaimed, refusing to believe what you just heard. It was just a sore throat, or so you had thought. You never liked doctors, so you rarely saw one, but when your ‘sore throat’ lasted for a whole month, your friends literally forced you to go see one.
You knew it wasn’t anything important, but maybe it would help to get a home rest for a day or two, giving you a little more time to binge anime study for that one exam that was coming up.
All your hopes and dreams died when you;
a) didn’t get to have any home rest, cause apparently, you didn’t have to stay home for a sore throat,
b) had to get shots for a week?!
This was why you hated doctors! You went in for a sore throat, hoping to get a home rest, and got what? A week of-
“It means what I just said.” The doctor answered your question gruffly, making you send him a questioning look. Weren’t the doctors supposed to be all nice and smiley? This one sure wasn’t.
“I don’t want to!” You whined, “Isn’t there a pill or something I could take?” He sent you a look that could only mean, are you dumb or something?
But you couldn’t care less about what he thought about you, though he was one of the most handsome men you had ever seen, all you were thinking about was doing whatever you could to not get any shots. “Is there no other way?” You asked, once again. This caused him to sigh loudly, turning his red eyes once again on you.
Loid Forger really said “ah yes Yor is such a normal person” after she drop kicked multiple people on their first date and then ran after a mugger on their second
THEN he spends one evening with her overprotective drunk brother and immediately clocks him as a member of the secret police.
Concept: Yor visit’s Loid at the hospital with lunch for his stomach ulcers - pre and post reveal. Exploring a head canon that her attitude would be pretty different - fun contrast to draw!
My heart hurts because Yor is in a competition with someone who probably doesn’t exist. I’m not saying she’s not affectionate towards Anya but I can clearly see that she holds back herself a lot.
She raised Yuri and gave him a lot of kisses and hugs, a lot of physical touch and gifts. But with Anya, she relies on quality time, hyping her, calming Loid down and hot chocolate, like any step mother who wants to be accepted without erasing the existence of the “dead mother”. She also carries Anya a lot and I thought it was her way to show motherly affection but it just her being herself because she can carry anything.
I love the way she turns into a furious killing machine when Anya gets hurt because it’s the rawest way for her to show how much she loves her daughter like an actual mother.
When Anya tried her uniform, they were playing the “Does Anya look cute ? Yes she does !” so many times it hurts because it was obvious that Yor wanted to hug her.
She also calls Anya “Anya-san” and I think her character development as a mother will be that she will either call Anya by her name only or a cute pet name.
I know each child has a different love language but Anya is obviously craving for physical touch (when she hugged Loid while he was sleeping, always clinging to Bond, holding hands) and I know Yor would totally hug her everyday if she asked, but Yor’s fear of being accused of replacing the biological mother holds her back so much. I can’t wait for Yor to spoil her daughter without holding back. Especially when Twilight revealed his plans about abandoning them post Operation Strix-
