I had a great Day +1, but am posting this about a half hour into Day +2.  I needed to make some room on my phone to make the video hehe, I guess I just take too many pictures and videos. My Shutterfly books are going to be awesome this year!

Day +100 Update! Post-Surprise Chicago Visit! I cannot believe it is the end of Day +100!  One Hundred Days since Dr. Burt and his staff at Northwestern gave me my life back.

Day +93 Update - My 3 month Stemmie-versary! Wow!  Three months!  I feel awesome except for getting over being sick.  My MS symptoms are GONE!

Prentice Bed Hack for Comfort during HSCT Many of us that end up as inpatients do not like that the beds on the 16th floor Prentice are pressure relieving beds because they are loud and constantly moving and shifting you side to side so you don't get a pressure sore.

Day +85 Update! Post HSCT! I'm on my last antibiotic and am feeling much better.  I have to learn to take time to rest and help myself heal post HSCT.

Day +79 Update! One year DMD-free today! I cannot believe that one year ago on May 13, 2016, I took my last Tysabri infusion, and have been off all DMDs! I've been hiding a bit because I've been a bit unwell, but I'm fighting hard!!

Day +70 Update. May 2, 2017. Been under the weather but am doing better now! I think I caught a cold!  It seems to have turned into a sinus infection now so I was put on a 10 day course of antibiotics.

My brain still isn't playing nice

My brain still isn't playing nice.

It has been a little over a month since I got my Cleveland Clinic stem cells infusion and have been doing relatively well. My 1 month follow up was on Oct 31 st. I have felt that my walking was a bit better but my spasms have been progressively getting worse. I wasn’t going to try to say whether the stem cells were helping yet or not because I know that it can take a while for things to start…

Day +63 Update! I have my 6 month followup dates!

Day +63 Update! I have my 6 month followup dates!

Day +63!  It’s official!!!  I am returning to Chicago on August 8th and 9th for my 6 month followup!

Amazing how time flies!  I’m so excited to see so many people, including Dr. Burt, my Stem Sister Amy, Melissa and Sebele (at Homewood Suites), and the staff of Prentice 16, to name a few!

I’ve had no MS flair-ups since my treatment on February 23rd (63 days ago).  I’m on no MS meds and haven’t…
