Masterlist
You had just begun packing up your stuff, shoving the folders and notebooks into your backpack before your computer followed. Headphones on as your music plays within your ears. The fall spirit running straight into the halloween energy. The song Somebody’s Watching Me filled your brain as you couldn’t help but to nod along and really act out the lyrics.
Humming with the beat, “I always feel like somebody's watching me.” And your head snapped up in what was intended to be joking, not actually expecting blue eyes to be glued to your very self. Your cheeks heated and you flashed an awkward smile. Nothing like getting caught really enjoying the song.
You had stopped nodding along, but continued to hum with the song. The feeling of somebody watching you being a lot more prominent now. Honestly, you figured she would have looked away after the first few seconds but she never did. As you slung your bag over your shoulder, you caught her eye once more.
They raked over your form, how it was covered with big jeans and an orange and black striped sweater. Keeping the cold from the dropping weather and the cold from her lingering stare off your skin. Yet as you went to give her another awkward grin, she looked away from you. Back to the book in her hands. After that you had left the library with the song still playing in your ears (although now you couldn't help the constant checking over your shoulders).
The interaction had settled in the back of your mind that night, even as you had gone out with a few friends. A nearby bar was already celebrating the spooky holiday and they insisted you leave your studies and come party with them. It took them begging you to be a pirate with them. Which didn’t actually take too long as they knew you caved at any chance to dress as a pirate.
From your day fit, you switched into a black, off the shoulder dress. The skirt in front stopping high up while flowing down like a waterfall down the back. Fishnets going over your inked legs along with tall brown boots. Corresponding with the brown corset that hugged you in tightly as gold decorated all over it. Then you added an assortment of jewelry and accessories, including a small fake dagger and can't forget the pirate hat.
Pleased with your outcome, you called an Uber and got on your way to the bar. That was when you found out your friends actually sent you the address of a club instead. Suddenly you wished you had pregamed before leaving your apartment.
“Look at you Captain!” Billy squealed as you approached them in line. His eyes gleaming at you actually staying true and ripping yourself away from the books. “You’ve been saving this one haven't you?”
“Maybe,” You playfully winked. “This isn't the bar around the corner by the way..why didn’t you guys just say it was a club?” You did one glance around, still feeling the effects of those blue eyes that caught you earlier.
Jen nudged you back into the circle, “would you have come out then? You literally never come out to the clubs with us. And I don’t think being a pirate was going to be enough.”
“The real question Cap’n,” Alice appeared from thin air. It seemed to have been talked about that you were their captain tonight. None of them wore hats, just bandana or nothing at all. “Can you drink like a Cap’n?”
Suddenly, your mood was switched at the new challenge. You eyed him before turning to the two girls. “Can I drink like a Cap’n? Scallywag, I wouldn’t be the captain if I couldn't.” Your confidence had skyrocketed and you were ready to lead the night of drinks.
That’s when Tommy had come up with a handful of shooters to get you all started. Each of them having clear, while he graciously handed you a dark. “Only the finest for you, Cap!” he smirked.
You seemed to be missing an entire conversation. But instead of raising the questions, you just broke the seal to your shooter and raised it high into the air with an “to a night voyage!” They followed you and threw back. Perfectly in time to make it to the door and flash ID’s.
~
It was only after the fourth drink you really started to feel yourself slipping to being more drunk than tipsy. Nothing in comparison to Billy who had whispered to you that he could hardly see anything. You had laughed at that and joined him in his swaying dance. Letting the music take over both of you as you danced together.
Alice slipped up behind you, “Cap’n you got eyes on you. You know that?” You missed everything she said and grabbed her cheek, pulling her closer into your body. Humming as loudly as you could. “The witch at the bar. She’s been eyeing you ever since you stepped in.”
You were aware instantly. That feeling from earlier had crept back into your system. Eyes snapping up and directly to the woman. Her blue eyes once again raked over your outfit, this time slower and more luring. “What do we think, pirates?” You shouted to the two of them, glancing between for a final conclusion. Two nods were your answer and then you were off.
Eyes never breaking from her as you weaved smoothly through the crowd. It wasn’t till you were leaning on the bartop next to her, “another please.” You raised the empty glass to the bartender. Once he got it, you stepped back and let your head slowly roll to meet her burning gaze. You flashed her a much more confident smile than in the library. “So you’re a witch?”
“And you’re a captain.” She made her words more of a statement than even questioning. “Your crew dragged you out tonight?”
“Leading me to you once again. I guess the treasure map worked.” You flashed a charming smile. A light hue covering your cheeks invites her in further. Your hand was held out as you gave her your name.
“Agatha.” She placed her hand in yours, in awe as you bravely pressed a kiss into her knuckles. Letting it go shortly after to pick up the dark drink. “Let me guess, Cap’n drinks gold?”
“Along with many other things…but that’ll be a conversation for another time. But are you here with someone, or is the coven a lost cause?” You were so forward with her here. Eyes gleaming with trouble and daring her to join.
“Indeed they are, but I suppose you came over here to change that?” Agatha slipped off her stool, her heels clacking sweetly against the club floor. She stood mere centimeters away from you now.
Your sly smile made its return, “No, I came to ask if you were stalking me now?”
“Fate, some would call it. It's a popular club, hun. Don’t go making yourself feel special now,” she threw the teasing right back at you, stunning you in a smile.
“How could I not when I have a hot witch stalking me?” You couldn’t help the flirt you were in this moment, especially after she had laughed at your words. “But you’ll have to keep stalking me if you wanna cast a spell on me.”
“Who said I ever wanted a pirate? They’re always looking to steal something shiny.” She stepped even closer to you, a hand coming up to the hat on your head. Plucking it from you and settling it over her dark untamed waves.
“Baby, I’m a captain. I don’t need to steal anything but a date with you.” And there it was. The first interaction you ever had with Agatha Harkness.
~
The second, oh boy was the second a shock. You had waltzed into the empty room. A lecture hall that tiered far up and was filled. A class you had to get four references for and it filled within two minutes of registrations. You though, your hard work paid off finally. The class had wanted you. An email had found you earlier in the week, right before registration for spring semester classes.
To whom it regards,
It has come to the notice of many esteemed professors in the history department of your excellence here at the university. This message finds you in an offering. Spring classes will soon open up and the course HIS362 has requested you to join her in lecturing. This offer also gives you access to our finest professor to review your senior thesis.
As you also may be aware of, this course fills up rather quickly and this opportunity is not commonly offered. You are the only one to receive this offer. If you wish to accept, please email our registration office, specifically to Ms. Jennifer Kale, head of all registration. From there she will automatically register you as a part of the class and as a TA. If you wish to decline this offer, do not respond at all. Please make your choice by 8 p.m on Thursday night, the night before senior registration.
We hope you accept this offer, sincerely,
The history department.
You had obviously accepted. You heard amazing things about Professor Harkness. How scary she could be, how ruthless, wicked, vile she could be. But how those who make it through the class talk wonders about how she teaches the details. That you leave with a whole new understanding of history. You craved it. Longed for it. And here it was, calling for you.
You had been instructed from the email to meet in the grand room on Friday night. That way you could get to meet the professor you'd teach alongside starting next week.
The room was quiet though. You were the only one in there and you couldn't help but take in everything. The way the rows were so precisely neat, students took care while pushing in their chairs. The air smelt of old books and a hint of late fall finding its way in. But right next to you was the wooden desk. It had imperfections, maybe the only thing in the room that did. On it were papers and a few personal belongings.
Your curiosity didn't even have to fight before you were reading the papers. It was a collection of student papers. You had no idea what you were actually reading, it was horrible. Horrible thesis. Horrible formatting. Horrible grammar. By God’s given grace, what was this?!
“That is Tommy Maximoff’s paper. He turned it in at the last minute. Surprised he even made the damn deadline. He's been high off his ass everyday since high school, you'd think he'd know how to write at least a shitty paper.” Her voice coursed through the air from the doorway. It was tired, sounding like a long weekend already ahead. “His is just one of the fifty from my winter course. Grades are due by Sunday before Spring Semester begins.”
Without even looking up, eyes so glued to the horrible paper you had begun to find an interest in it. It was just so bad. “I could help you. It would cut the stack in half easily.” Your lips curled as you read over the word ‘Matrix’. “He talks about the matrix in here, personally not my preferred choice of researcher, but hey, it's his effort that's really astonishing.”
The laugh you received was familiar. A sound you had once heard maybe in a dream. Your smile grew and you glanced up swiftly. There she stood. Agatha Harkness. The professor you were to teach alongside.
Her sharp blue eyes narrowed and a wicked grin tugged at her lips. “Captain. I didn't think you’d be the history student this campus never shuts up about.”
“Oh this is such a surprise. I didn't think the infamous Professor Harkness was a witch.” You matched her stare with a little more playfulness. “I've adored history since the moment I could understand what it was. Gone down as many trails and roads to find it all.”
“I should've figured, your pirate hat was made from all the right fabrics.” Agatha finally stepped further into the room. The heels of her boots clicked against the floor in every heavy step. Her tiredness worked her to the bone.
“Oh will I get that back?”
“Depends if you can earn it back, here you're no captain, not yet at least.” The brunette stood on the other side of the desk now. Almost as if their roles had been reversed. “You really want to read shitty college papers all weekend?”
“Will it start us on the right foot?” You cheesed as your fingers already began to divide the stack in half. The joke is harmless. “I really don't mind. What century did you teach them?”
“Late fifteenth century. It was a two credit course, one most took to fill in those last few credits. And yet, half of them couldn't even care.” Agatha sighed, sounding disappointed with the waste of her potential.
You flipped to Tommy’s next page, “what's not to love about the public terror towards Witches? Assuming that's what he's trying to get at in this paper. If I grade half of these papers will you give me back my hat?”
Her head tilted to the side just slightly, “what's so special about it? Besides the fabrics it's made out of?”
“It belonged to Blackbeard…allegedly.” But it's nicer to believe it than to think it's just some old pirate hat that's been preserved for years and was sold in some garage sale on the west coast. “If I ask you nicely?”
“I like you, you seem to have what it'll take to keep up with me. So, you make it through the year and you get the hat back. Really earn that hat, Captain.” She dealt. A wise hand stuck out towards you and waited for yours to grasp it.
You enjoyed a challenge. You thrived in it actually. So your hand slipped into hers with ease. “It’ll be my greatest pleasure to work alongside you.” You hummed.
“Fate brings us together once more.” She had an electric hand shake.
That night, you had gotten Agatha’s number. Swearing to keep it strictly business and just that.
The third interaction was a series of texts. It came around midterms. Both you and her were stressed with the papers you were grading, the materials you were switching off teaching, and the students just had a collection of questions that kept rolling in through emails. On a Thursday night, you were found in pajamas in your tiny apartment with a steaming cup of tea and papers. Ready to grade the night away.
Then your phone beeped.
Captain.
Ooooh captain?
Are you actually grading those boring papers?
You watched all three roll in, a confused smile played at you and you answered after much thought.
Someone has to in order to get that hat back.
Why? Are you not?
She typed for a long minute. The bubbles bounced a few times before disappearing for another tedious minute. Did she find you boring suddenly? You were just doing the work she had given you.
No
It came through all on its own. Short. Simple.
No?
You stared a little confused.
Agatha is everything all right?
Seconds of silence. Your heart raced with a million possibilities that could be for her texting you so late.
You had noted a constant personality that Agatha texted with. It was straight to the point, a little joking. She only texts paragraphs of what she needed done this week and what you had to handle as well, you'd text back your own professional paragraph with an emoji, she’d like it, and that was it. A few times where you had texted her several questions in single short text, but that was when it was a rush and you didn’t have time to be formal. Yet, Agatha was always formal. So the new formatting had you intrigued.
Can I not text you without something being wrong?
What if I just wanted to talk to my favorite Captain?
Is that so wrong?
The confession in grey bubbles made your body tingle.
Is this how you cast your spells witch?
Lure in oblivious captains to teach alongside you and then you work your magic?
But no, nothing is wrong with that.
You put your phone down only next to the first paper that you were about to begin grading. Trying to settle your mind over the implications of her text already. You knew Agatha already took a liking to you, she’s out right said it, but here you saw it outside of her schooling stare.
Can I call you instead?
It came through nearly twenty minutes later. You had already made it to the third paper and needed a break already anyways. Your thumbs hover hesitantly however over your screen.
Yes.
And your eyes burned a hole through the device as you waited for it to ring. It felt like torture. But after the longest three minutes known to man, your phone began to buzz. The vibrations heightened the situation, you felt terribly nervous.
“Agatha?” You whispered her name as if she was a secret, and she shuddered at the sound. You had frowned at how shaky it sounded. “Is everything alright?”
She didn’t answer for a moment, but you could hear her lips part and the words get stuck in her throat. She must’ve been glancing around to figure out what just happened. “Rio…she uhhh…she just walked out. We got into a fight.”
“What’d you fight about?” You sunk further into your couch. Tea now in your lap as you just listened. The papers could be tomorrow’s issue. On some level, deep deep in your gut, you already knew. You and Agatha spent hours with each other after teaching all day together. It’d naturally be by your cause. You would start talking about a paper or something from a class, probably disagreeing with whatever it was just because you could. Agatha would scoff and that’s how you would fall into long discussions of history. Never once failing to run out of evidence to back yourself, the professor strived to see how deep your knowledge went.
“You, actually. She thinks we spend too much time together.” It was soft, unlike anything you’ve ever heard. Her vulnerability tonight made your own start to creep its way to the surface. “I told her it’s ‘cause we work together. That I'm your mentor through your last semester but she…she didn’t believe that was it…”
The idea made your heart sink. Never would you want to have been the cause for someone else’s breakup. You hadn’t even considered how it looked. “I’m so sorry..” you faintly said. What else could you say?
A silence settled. For an hour you sat on the phone and said nothing. Something in you told you to just wait for her to say the rest. Your tea had been long forgotten in your lap as your eyes just stared blankly ahead. So many questions filled your mind and it felt suffocating.
And on Monday? Monday was when Agatha had trudged into the classroom. She found your stack of papers, all graded without fail, and ontop…your letter of resignation from being her TA. Unbeknownst to you, that was the second heartbreak that woman faced within a week.
Her classes seemed to lose all their spark for the last few weeks. Everyone was aware of your absences and the hard demeanor Harkness wore once more. She drowned herself in grading the final essays instead of acknowledging your disappearance.
Agatha searched long for you. The letter didn’t sit right with her and she wanted an answer. But when she asked around the history department not a single person could tell her where you went to. The head, Steve Rogers, he knew. He knew exactly where you went but he couldn’t share the information due to your request. You knew she’d tried to chase after you for leaving so abruptly.
Even at your graduation, she watched for you. A need in her grew to learn if you were alright or not. Yet, the ceremony had ended and you weren't there. Agatha felt alone once more. There was nobody she could turn to. No shoulder to cry on, no one to argue about history with, no one to make her smile.
But as she left her office she could hear the voice she grew to adore hearing. Curiosity won her decisions this time and she snuck along the wall. Steve’s office doors cracked ever so slightly.
“Thank you, for accommodating so late in the year with me. I appreciate it a lot.” You held your diploma in hand, somehow already having access to your real one. The crisp manilla folder was tucked snuggly in your purse.
Steve gave a curt nod, “of course. Sorry you had to accommodate so suddenly as well. I knew how much you enjoyed teaching alongside Harkness. You two worked amazingly together.” He began to collect his own belongings. It was rather late, wasn’t it?
Agatha felt her heart squeeze as your lips softly grew into a grin. Something fond filled your eyes. “I wish I could’ve finished the semester with her…she understood a side of history not many do. Something I admire. She also has this side to her, one I don’t think she realized she showed. And with all the work we did together, may it be my best, I began to notice more and more things about her. Professor Harkness is by far the most astonishing woman I ever had the honor to learn from.”
“So why did you leave? Now that you’re technically no longer a student, I’m asking you as a friend now.” He turned, placing his stuff back down and began to fix two drinks. You seemingly followed suit, dropping all your belongings onto the couch nearby and sitting down yourself. “You talk so greatly about her it’s impossible to think she scared you off.”
You huffed your laughter as you watched the man. “She couldn’t scare me even if I let her. What did scare me was her girlfriend.”
“Rio?”
“She came to my home one night…I didn’t even think that was something I had to worry about.” You sipped the dark liquor, taking a moment to enjoy the burn down your throat.
“What? She threatened you to resign?” The blonde man leaned back into his desk chair a little more. “Why didn’t you say anything?”
“Because she told me Harkness was requesting I be moved anyways. That she was there to pick up the papers I was grading and that on Monday, I’d probably hear something. Now, at the time I was so conflicted with so much, that I just believed her. That it all made sense anyways. The following Monday, was when I asked to be assigned to Calderu’s history classes.” You could picture the day so vividly. The outfit you wore, brown corridor with a funky green sweater and loafers. The smell of Lilia’s classroom the first time you walked in, ancient texts and incense. How the older woman grinned to see such a lively spirit working with her for the rest of the semester. It was warming.
Agatha saw the shift in your smile, still fond but tainted with sadness. “And now it doesn't even matter because you’re done…this was a big secret to keep to yourself. We could’ve sorted everything out.” He reassured you, but it wasn’t worth the try.
“Like you said, it doesn’t even matter now. I don’t think I would’ve returned alongside Harkness anyways…” Your words hung in the air. Nobody knew if there was going to be more to follow as you took another sip from your glass. Agatha prayed there was more to this confession. Steve’s brow raised a question. “I fell in love with the job at first, there was nothing more entertaining than a fully active discussion, but then I fell in love with who I was doing the job with. Have you ever seen her teach?”
“Can’t say I have.”
“My God, is it breathtaking. I used to sneak into her lectures, hide all the way in the back and then after she did her attendance, I’d watch her teach. Three hours of her being able to go on about details you could never imagine being in a book somewhere. But before me, she didn’t teach to her fullest. Then one day I showed up by request. Do you know the bragging rights I got to say I’m teaching alongside Professor Harkness? Other seniors got twenty recommendation letters just to increase their chances and I got hand picked for something I didn’t even apply for. And suddenly this woman is basking in the attention of students. Not a single stray of focus. Up close and sitting at her desk, you could see the creases by her eyes when someone cracked a joke.” You had an attention to detail thing…
Agatha stood outside, back pressed against the brick wall as her heart hammered. Her eyes were sealed closed. You noticed so much of her only to be scared away. Rio…this was Rio's doing. She made you believe that the mentor didn’t want you anymore. That she didn’t need you in her way. That she regretted even taking you in. Ever so softly to herself, “I can fix this.”
“Except within the last few weeks, you could see she had lost something.” You were still there, watching her just from afar. “She didn’t light up the same way when someone asked for more details on a specific event. She would glance to the desk as if looking for someone, me, but nobody was there except for a few papers and pens. She spent the most time in her office as well. Wouldn’t leave till the janitor came by her office for trash.”
“Wait, this is taking a turn. You stalked Harkness even after resigning from her?” Steve waved his glass around, trying to get some clarification.
“I didn’t resign, remember? Keep up here. I wouldn’t say it as stalking as much as I would claim admiring from afar. But if that’s what you want to call it by all means. She wasn’t sleeping either, her steps, slow and without her clicking attitude. I brought my worries to Lilia while we cooked together. She had this way of coaxing the truths out of people. Yet, her face when I told her was dismissive and she said I dwell on other’s emotions more than my own.”
The brunette suddenly realized, everyone was out to keep you from her. Lilia had personally come to her with worries that Agatha was getting at more than professional levels. She denied it every time, retorting with insults on the woman’s sanity.
“Ya’ know, I’m not surprised though. Everyone thought all the time you two spent together was a little much.” He tilted his head quickly to the side, taking a deep sip from his drink, following with another to finish the glass. “Were..was there anything ever going on?”
“No! I valued what we had in the classroom setting way too much to jeopardize it.” You finished your own drink and both began to collect your belongings again. “What I’m trying to say is I’m going to miss her.”
“Said a lot more than that.” He laughed quietly, he gestured for you to lead out first.
And you did, yet the moment you stepped out the door you caught the faintest whiff of perfume. A familiar smell that you knew was expensive. It paired well with all the books in her office. A rich vanilla and then something deep, mangrove wood if you recall correctly. “I parked on the other side, so I guess this is to see you later?”
His head curtly nodded, “You have ways to find me. I hope you won't become a stranger to me?”
“Wouldnt dream of it.” You gave him one last hug before heading into the other direction. Although you seemed to walk your way right back to the office you missed so dearly. The lights were still on and the door was cracked. Her perfume was stronger than ever. You took a deep inhale and pushed open the door without knocking. Turning to it and closing it with a turn of the lock. “I could pick you out in a Bath and Body Works like an eagle to a mouse in a cornfield.”
“You know so much of what I didn't even know.” She sounded so hurt to see and hear you again. “I went thinking it was something I had done…no wonder I couldn’t find you anywhere, you had already found me.”
“...The night you called me, the night..Rio walked out. What was said?” You cautiously rotated to see her. Blue eyes were already on you and waiting for you to move. They followed you as you sat right in the chair in front of her. “Why did Rio walk out?”
“I swear Agatha! You spend more time in that tiny office with her and all those books more than you do here! How do you not see the issue here?! When you said you were going to do the whole TA thing again, I trusted you! I trusted you to not make the same mistake!” Rio shouted. It was late, another late night where she stayed up for her girlfriend to get home from work.
“It’s not like that! I swear there is nothing going on between me and her! She is my student!” Agatha cried, her fingers rubbing into her temples.
“That didn’t stop you before with Wanda!” Rio screamed. The house fell into an overly tense silence. Her pained brown eyes bored into Agatha. “What’s it about her this time, hmm? How smart she is? How every paper she gives you is nothing but perfection? She’s your perfect little slut huh?”
“Do not call her that.” Agatha grunted through clenched teeth.
Rio’s head bobbed up and down, finally calling it. “After everything we’ve been through together. I hope you and your history whore are happy together.” She was gone before she could be stopped. Car screeching down the street.
Agatha stood in her now eerie home. Her heart hammered in her chest in an anxious manner. Like it was running to find the nearest panic attack and surely, it did. Her hands shook, eyes filled with tears, but she managed to pull out her phone. Sending a series of texts in hopes to get some ease. Her breathing started escaping her and she needed to sit. Just barely making it into the living room and flopping into the medium brown cushions.
“I defended the wrong relationship. I defended you.” She almost choked on the confession. “I thought you finally found your senses and left. That you saw our relationship the same way Rio and Lilia did. The same way everyone else did as well.”
“I could care less of how others view our relationship. We never crossed any lines. I wouldn’t have even let you, Agatha. You were everything to me. I studied you harder than I did these books. Of course everyone thought there was something going on, I stared at you with intent and picked apart everything you did. Anyone in my position would. Anyone who knows a true historian would kill to learn from you up close. And then you hand picked me. Selected me from everyone else who came for the spot. You knew I already had an attraction towards you. You found me in the library and then the bar. And you called it fate. You made me believe that fate was continuously pulling us together.” Your heart was there on the table. Beating and thriving in her space again. It felt comfortable, familiar, like you really belonged here. Tears rolled down your heated cheeks.
“Because I believed it was…I’m always watching the best to find my next assistant. For someone to get it and be able to keep it and use it. That’s all you’ve shown me since you entered this university. How easily you became a household name in department meetings. You have them all wrapped around your finger. So I watched you grow through the years. Speak at conferences, debate even the most confident without flinching. And then it was you last semester and the word was you needed just a few more credits. It was a battle for you. Everyone wanted you to teach alongside them. I needed a way to make sure you’d take mine.” It wasn’t the answer you expected. Nor did you expect the guilt and self-loathing to shift her entire personality.
Your lips frowned and quivered, a hand coming to cover them. “You…you played with my feelings to make sure I’d take your offer?” You felt sick. You felt worse than sick. You felt like you were going to die the most disgusting death right here, “oh my God…what the fuck is wrong with you?”
“It wasn’t the path I wanted to take.” She too felt a worse feeling settle deep into her body. It rooted her into her chair, she couldn’t stop you from running out the door.
You never looked back. You couldn’t. Not after the feeling she had caused to arise from the deepest parts of your body. You ran far. Crossing the country so far that she wouldn’t even think to make the journey.
It was Halloweekend again though. All your friends were flying back to the party. A five year reunion and bash on everyone’s favorite holiday. You’d be the only one not there and it would destroy all of them, they told you several times in text. Begging you to bury whatever happened and to come to the party. Drink a lot and let it all go.
So you did, because you thought not a single thing could ruin your night if you were drunk. A group costume of pirates once more. They really wanted you to come out with them and as you got ready your stomach twisted in sadness at the lack of a certain hat. The rest of the outfit was great, a perfect combination of time accurate and risque. You pushed it down though. It was time to party, not reminisce.
You had done a small pregame with Billy and Tommy at their apartment, where you had stayed. It wasn’t long spent there as the three of you were already late to meet Jen and Alice at the bar. You were at a fair share of drinks already, so maybe you didn’t realize it being the same bar all those years ago. You waltzed in with wide smiles and needed to get absolutely wasted in your costumes. Raising a round before hitting the dance floor.
The music took over your body like it was a long forgotten skill. You moved like it meant nothing against the crowd. All your worries were gone. It was just you in a big, big world.
But your big world got small almost instantly. An all too familiar leather moved on top of the crowd of people. The missing piece to your favorite costume. You didn't think too much before you followed it. Catching the person at the bar you tapped on their shoulder. Her long umber hair flew as her head turned.
Without a beat to pass, you were right back to a year ago. A frown taking over your lips as you felt a rush of drunken emotions. “Sorry..” you whispered, boots stepping backwards. Your lack of balance became noticeable. This was terrible. This was worse than terrible. This was Jurassic. This was your worst nightmare coming true even after you begged and begged for it to not.
“Captain..” Agatha called after you. For some reason, maybe subconscious, you stopped. You let her catch back up to you. Her still stunning blue eyes traced all over your face. “You're here..”
“I love halloween...” Your words shook with uncertainty. Everything in your body told you to run. Run once more far far away. Never to come back to these gut watching memories. Except your heart? Your heart hammered against your chest and tried so hard to reach for her.
Her red lips lightly twitched upwards, only to fall right back into a frown. She too remembered everything she did. Agatha cleared her throat, eyes shifting to anything but your sad face.
“You look tired,” you said. It was soft. Not meant to be heard by anyone honestly. A comment more for yourself to take back with you. “And you have my hat.”
“You ran before I could give it to you.” She reached up for it. Pinching it so carefully between her fingers and pulling it down for you to take. “You look better as a captain anyways.”
Your heart stuttered as she placed it upon your head, it slid effortlessly over the silk bandana. There's no way she was doing this to you. Once the leather touched your body you had stepped back. “I ran to protect myself…”
“And yet fate has brought us back together.” She itched to step closer, to pull you away from here and really see you.
But your drunken mind didn't want to be near her. So you shook your head as tears pricked your eyes. “You don't get to make me believe in fate, not anymore.” With your restored title, you walked away (more so stumbled). You returned to your group on the floor. Trying your best to forget those captivating oceans that drowned you at every thought. Yet your mind was listing everything you missed about her.
The way she would correct your history errors the same way you would hers. It was her silent way to remind you that as smart and historic as you claimed, she was even more historic. That she knew pieces of history you couldn't find anywhere.
Then the way she encouraged you always to elaborate what you preach. If you believed the books were depicting it all wrong and you had the evidence to counter it she wanted you to. To challenge everything the way you challenged her. She encouraged your opinions more than any professor you had ever had.
The late nights she would find you tucked in her office grading papers that were due the next day and offer her company and some tea. Those were the quietest of nights. Neither one would say anything and it'd be the sound of your pen scratching against the papers and the flipping of pages in her book. Always a new text, she never had the same book for more than a week. You never asked if she would actually finish the book or lose interest, but it was Agatha, she probably did finish the pages.
Memories suffocated you more than the bodies around you. You felt sick, breathless, and you could feel the panic attack chase you out the door. You had rushed around the corner, crouching and holding your own hair back. The drinks had mixed with your worries and found their way to the concrete. Tears had spilt down your cheeks. You wanted to leave.
The night's cold air chilled you and it was the only thing seemingly to ground you. But then you could feel her so close by. Frantically you looked around and hoped she wouldn't be near (or that what you told yourself you hoped).
“There are two ways we can go about this. Either you can run for however long you want to, but deny it all you want, fate will bring us back together. Or, we can walk and finally finish our conversation.” Her voice was rough, haunting almost, but overall tired. “I can't get you out of my head.”
Your eyes searched the world, finding her leaning just behind you against the building. You could finally take in her costume. “I thought you were a pirate?” The deep purple dress flowed magically around her legs. Light purple lace detailing around the edge. Her boots peaked out from under, showing off their own purple detailing. A black waist corset pulled her in and pushed her breast up just a little more. The sleeves of her dress flowed like the rest of it, hanging on the very edge of her shoulders. The main piece, her brooch, sat perfectly on her iridescent chest. “You look more like-”
“A witch? I had an inkling to bring the hat tonight. Some call it a gut feeling, others might say fate.”
“Stop with that word.” You scoffed. “There was no fate then, and there is no fate now. Everything we had was built off a lie. You lied, played me like a fucking fool and then you called it fate. I was naive enough then to believe you but I won't be now.”
She stepped out, into the view of others and into your space. “You wanna let me talk now?” She raised a brow and offered her arm. You didn’t want to take it. You shouldn’t have to even consider it, and yet you looped yours with hers. Your white sleeve tangling with hers.
Agatha led you down the street, away from the party and to the silence of a college campus. It felt more nostalgic than your own childhood home did. A place you once lived and breathed. She moved elegantly with you on her arm.
“I’m sorry for what I did.” She managed after passing the university's water fountain. She was leading you to her office.
“Why’d you do it?” You asked without hesitation. The question haunts your every thought.
Her steps turned heavy, the weight of the question slowing her pace. “At first because I wanted to win the fight for you. Then because you challenged me like no one else ever has. Finally, because I realized I was better with you.”
It was a confession, you heard it.
“I know why you passed Tommy Maximoff. His papers are terrible. But…it’s the same reason you hadn’t taken in anyone in years. Which makes me wonder, was I anything serious or something fun that got out of hand?” Your voice wavered and drunk tears spilled from your eyes.
“You were an earth shaking force that came in and completely shook my world. I never defended Wanda to Rio the way I did you. The feelings that bubbled up in me when she spoke badly about you was enough to know that you meant something more. I may not be your fate, but you sure as hell are mine.” Her wise hand pushed open the doors to the old building.
The air smelt the same. Ancient and holding years of memories from those who came before and those who’ll come after, but for now the buildings smell tangled with Agatha’s and your own scents. It felt right. Like every night you spent here, walking out together, whispering together. God, it was inevitable. Your fate was sealed the day you came to this university.
You didn’t follow with any more questions, just let her guide you to that tiny office hidden on the top floor in the farthest corners from most classrooms. Your heartbeat seemingly picks up with every step closer. The hall seemed longer than what you remember, like it was growing just to tease you and your anticipation. The dark oak door came into view just barely, silencing your drumming heart.
You knew if you stepped in, it was accepting whatever was about to come for you. It excited you almost as much as it petrified you. Especially when there was nothing stopping either of you now.
Agatha’s hand twisted her key in the hole with ease. Nudging the door open ever so slightly for you to see inside once more. The only thing that seemed different was the shelf right behind her desk. The one that used to hold all her favorite history and even personal reads. Right there at eye level to be plucked from the shelf any given time. The shelf now held your favorites. All the ones you oozed information to her about. Things she already knew, but also things she might've never put together the way your own mind did.
Your feet moved on their own, carrying you in and to the selection. Your heart squeezed as your finger ran right over them all. “These are my favorites?”
“You lingered in the back of my mind, literally and metaphorically. You went on for hours about these ones the most. You adored them when you spoke. So I pulled them as a reminder of the greatest gift I’d ever lost.” Her words wrapped you up in a blanket of apologies and you could hear them even unspoken. “You were so special.”
“And you ruined it.” You frowned but you spoke so softly, not in a targeting tone, in a hurt and grieving one. For the person you once were.
“I’m so sorry hun…would you have chosen my offer even if I never…?” She sat in the chair on the other side of the desk.
The question hung while you followed suit and sat in her chair and swayed out of habit. You thought it over. “I heard great things about you, how everyone craved for you to let them teach alongside you. Then I got an email saying I was basically hand picked. The department had registered me and next thing I knew it was you. I was thrilled. You are thrilling.” Her blue eyes dropped to her lap, she couldn't bear the way your eyes still admired her. “I would’ve picked you regardless, and if I had to make the choice without any prior encounters, it would be you all over again.”
“What I did was unprofessional and unfair and I’m sorry.”
“What I felt for you was unprofessional and unfair and I’m sorry.”
The silence was loud. Agatha slowly lifted her head to meet your gaze once more. A tingling sensation coursed her body as your eyes were dilating ever so slightly and your lips parted. Your mind was reeling with every feeling you shoved so deep and told yourself was wrong was no longer such.
“I wasn’t completely oblivious to my own stare. I hid it with admiration but that only can cover something deeper for so long.” You hummed as you stood, carefully moving her desk decorations. “I was greedy then for what wasn’t mine, and I learned then, but now?” You lifted yourself to the desk and carefully crawled across it. “Now I believe we both knew that me getting my hat back was gonna come with so much more.”
Agatha’s pink lips curled wickedly. She stood, meeting you at the edge of the desk. “Are you accepting your fate captain?” Her right hand cupped your cheek gently, a soft hum coming from both your lips.
“Aey, it seems your spell has worked after all witch. Do your worst.” You smiled with what innocence you had left before lips were crashing against your quickly. You didn't need a second thought to kiss back and tangle your own hands in her wild mane.
It was everything you had ever wanted in a kiss. Deep passion that fueled the burning in both your cheeks and your body warmed in seconds flat. You spent nights out of curiosity wondering about how her lips could feel, but it was better now. Waaayy better. Her soft grip turned fierce on your jaw suddenly forcing your lips apart ever so slightly.
Agatha pulled back from you, eyes dark as the deepest depths of the ocean. They raked over your glazed look and before you knew it, she spit right into your mouth. Her saliva coating your tongue moments before you swallowed it with a whine. “Oh captain, how I've waited for this moment.”
Your cheeks blushed terribly. Pushing you into a shyer demeanor. “You have?” You barely managed.
“Darling from the day I laid eyes on you in class. And having you here now in this costume…” her eyes dropped to the way your chest was pushed up in your dress. Your boobs overfilled perfectly. The beige compliments your skin as the dark accents detail you into perfection. Your hair, some braids, mostly free and falling around you. Your knees peeked from the short front of the dress, boots hidden under the train following behind. “I'm gonna fuck you in it. Then, imma take you home and fuck you even more.”
Your breathing had caught. You wanted that. More than anything. You scooted closer to the edge (if possible) and your legs came from under you. The softness of your smooth legs was now in her range.
It didn't take Agatha more than a second before her deep purple nails were digging into your thighs. Pushing them apart forcefully and stepping between them. Her natural scent roamed all around you, intoxicating your every sense. “How bad do you want it?”
Her dominance was never in question. You could only challenge it for so long before she'd give you a look, the one she's giving you now, and you'd be nothing but mere hums. Her stare was hard but you could feel the playfulness hidden behind it. “Please. I need you. I want you. Please, Agatha.” You began a string of whispered pleads.
“You're gonna be good for me yeah? You gonna let me explore this perfect fucking body?” She cooed, tugging your legs so your hips flushed against hers. Her head dipped closer, lips grazing your ear. “You gonna let me ruin you?”
Your back arched into her at the simplicity of it all. “Fucking ruin me.” You gasped lowly.
“Good girl,” she smirked at you before crashing her lips back to yours. Her tongue slipped in without a fight, dancing with your own as she established her already established dominance. Her own hum vibrated against your lips and tongue. Then she sucked hard on the muscle. Teeth clamping down to hold it in place as she sucked harder.
On instinct, you whined and pulled it back, enjoying the scratch it brought. With pupils blown you backed up only slightly, feeling her breath tangle with yours and hit your cheeks. The woman you were staring in awe at was no longer your mentor. Not the same Agatha who you had taught alongside with pride and joy, nor the one who bickered over tales with you for hours on end, not even the one who defended you to her wife. This woman was someone more to you. Someone who still had so much more to teach you and you didn't even know it.
“You’re fucking perfect, bunny.” She murmured. “You’re so fucking perfect.” Her hands, a slight shake in her fingers, cupped your cheeks. But as soon as you noticed the shake, it was gone. “We’re gonna be untouchable together.”
As for what that meant to you, you’d find out later, for now you pathetically leaned into her. Desperate for more. You kissed at her palms, their coolness sending a shiver down your spine. “The limits are endless.”
Without another word her lips crashed back to yours. “I want you.” Her lips dropped to your jaw. “I need you.” Down to your neck, biting down playfully. She lowered down to your boobs that were exposed. Sucking hard to leave a bruise. You’d be in sweaters for a week.
Agatha’s hands squeezed at your thighs, raking her nails down as she lowered to her knees before you. “Everytime you challenge me…” Her lips began peppering up the inside of your thighs. Nipping the closer she got to you. Deep blue eyes stalked your every facial expression, every curve of your lips, twitch of a muscle, all of it. “I just wanted to eat this pretty pussy till you could no longer argue with me.”
Skilled fingers ran along your burning skin to your hips, slipping under the waistband of your thong and pulling it down. The dark brown material hung from her fingers like an ornament. Agatha was entranced by the wet spot on the dead center. Eyes twinkling in the dim lights.”Have you been waiting for me?”
“For so long…” You felt your breath entirely escape you with the confession. Your left hand went from holding you up to tangling in Agatha’s mane of mischief. Nails scratching along her scalp and fisting a small handful. Her lips only seemed to grow at the feeling. You craved her closer. “Please Agatha…”
The first swipe of her tongue sent your body arching. You sucked in the air and let your head snap back. Agatha took this new shift to her advantage. Firm hands pulling you to the edge of the wood and holding your legs apart. There she was given better access to your core, where she refused to let up once she found her rhythm.
The sounds were lewd. The way her tongue moved was sinful. Not only a master in history, but a master in whatever the fuck you could call her talent. You hadn't even realized how quickly she drew you to the edge, you had swore she just started.
Not wanting it all to end so soon, you tried to pull her head back. Desperate to prolong your own orgasm. Although with every tug, Agatha sucked harder. Her hands damn near carving into your inner thighs as they tried to close around her.
The feeling that coursed through you was nothing of what you’d ever felt. “You’re so fucking delicious. I could eat you out forever. Stay between these pretty thighs.” Her words were rushed and strained. “I’m gonna…fuck baby you’re unspeakable.” It clicked slowly for you.
Agatha was getting off on eating you out.
The thought of it weakened your arms and you fell backwards hard. A cry ripped through your body as your feet struggled to find stability on the edge of the desk. Your stomach suddenly felt tense and your body hot. “Mm..Ags..” You attempted but it all just felt too good. Your legs began shaking violently and as you tried to break away, her hands slipped to your waist and yanked you down onto her tongue.
Another cry tore through you and your head went blank and light. Agatha kept licking you through your orgasm, eager to draw out everything. Once she decided you had nothing left, she kissed all around your thighs before leaning over you to find your lips. Smashing her to yours and humming as you reciprocated it with a whine. “I’m not done with you yet baby. I told you I was taking you home and fucking you there.”
~
Agatha had you under her, holding your hips as she guided you up and down the purple strap on. Watching in awe as it disappeared fully into you causing you to whine and squirm in her hands. Her thumb rubbing lazy circles over your swollen clit. It was tantalizing. Everything about her was.
“You gonna let me play with you, yeah? Put you into any position I want and watch you take me all.” She wasn’t asking you and you knew it. The brunette already had you exactly how she wanted you. Needy for her to fuck you.
Your head bobbed as you hummed. “Yes..anyway you want, just..just do anything!” You felt helpless with her. Especially when you clawed at her as she pulled out, desperate to keep her nearby.Your mouth opened for protest but was filled with her spit before you could start.
She pulled you to the side of the bed, nails once more digging in your hips and she thrusted hard and deep into you. Hips snapping with enough force to rock your whole body as you screamed out. Then she pulled all the way out, snapping once more. Agatha adored how your tits bounced with every thrust.
The professor was completely hypnotized by you. She leaned forward and wrapped her lips around one nipple while thrusting harder each time. On instinct, you curled around her to give her a deeper thrust. You were both painting messes as she moved. Her teeth nipped at your hardened bud causing you to violently shiver. So she did it again.
Meanwhile she freed one of her hands to your bundle of nerves. Quick circles that made your cries turn into begging and moans so loud you swore the neighbors were going to hear. Agatha let go of your bud. “Taking me so well baby. I can tell you’re so close.”
But it was more than that, you felt like your body was going to explode. “Please Agatha…” Your head rolled into the sheets as she only began to slow her very movements. “No! Nopleaseineedyousobad!” You jumbled out. “Please don't stop!”
She hummed lowly, “you like taking my cock?”
“Yes! Fuck so badly!” You didn’t even process your words.
“Yeah? You want me to keep going? Roughing you up so no one will ever compare?”
“No one’s like you, Ags..” You thrashed against the sheets.
“You’ll be my good girl forever?” Agath eased into you, easing right back out when you tried to bottom her out. She ‘tsked’ quietly.
“Yes. Yours forever.” You stilled entirely. Glazed eyes staring at her in the dim lighting.
She slammed right back into you. Resuming her brutal pace as you laid there, taking it. It was everything you’d always wanted. Her thumb rubbed vigorously and you were right back to the breaking point. Body heating up and your vision going white as the coil in your stomach undid and you listened to the sounds as Agathe kept fucking you. Her own orgasm right behind yours, she toppled over you breathing heavily on your neck.
Neither of you moved for a second, just embraced each other and kept close. “Fucking hell…” Agatha whispered. Her lips pressing softly into your pulse. She straightened up and smiled caringly down at you. “You are…you’re amazing baby. Everything you do is amazing.”
You hummed, “I have an amazing mentor.”
Agatha chuckled, “I have more to teach you. But for tonight, why don't we get cleaned up and watch a movie?” You agreed without thought, following her into the bathroom.
That night was the first of many more with Agatha. Only this time, your history debates ended with her fucking you wether you were right or wrong.

summary: you meet her during classroom decorating, although you don't speak much, you're in the same circle of friends. She has her eyes on you though, you and those muscles....and you, you had your eyes on her. So when a snow storm comes by and her car breaks down? Its the perfect moment.
a/n: don't ask me why y'all just got a winter fic before the halloween one....it's just how the process works trust (do not trust me for your own safety and sanity)
The 23' school year was about to begin and you were in your room doing decorations. Wearing shorts and an old Scooby doo shirt tucked in. Everything with a funky green belt and brown dyed converse.
You had seen this red truck pull in while grabbing a water bottle from the cooler you had brought. You weren't really focusing, just spacing out. You watched the door open and someone jump out, but then you looked away. Not seeing who it was.
You basked in the sun before grabbing your last box and waltzing back to your room. Letting the music take over your mind as you just decorated.
A song, your favorite, came on. And you just couldn't help the dance moves that slipped from you as you danced down the hall.
You were heading to your car for one last trip to just make sure you had everything. Not seeing the red head in front of you.
Just as you bumped into her, you caught her with one arm and your other reaching to get the box. It was weird how you maneuvered. But...smooth?
Maybe it was that smile you wore that day. Maybe it was the kiddish outfit. Maybe it was nobody knew who you were. Maybe it was how strong you were.
Melissa couldn't pin it. What was it about you? She shouldn't feel like this for a stranger. She doesn't even get into physical touch until she really knows someone.
Yet you, you made her stomach flutter. She stood up and was about to say something snarky or something asserting her dominance but she was just staring up at you.
"I'm going to take your silence as a yes?" Your voice. It came through to her finally. She couldn't forget it suddenly. How it perfectly matched you. It wasn't too high pitched, but wasn't too raspy either. It was full of emotions constantly.
"Sorry," she hummed. "I just have never seen someone move like that?"
You gave a small laugh, "thank you, I think?" You didn't know how to take that, so randomly you left. Trying to figure it out in your own head.
Melissa hadn't seen you around again until the first day.
You stood outside in a pair of cargo jeans, a blue hot wheels top. Your hair was down and pulled back to show off your earrings.
The smile you had while greeting your kids made Melissa feel giddy. She couldn't tear her eyes off of you. Especially the glimpse of buff arms. How with each movement they would slightly flex.
You turned and caught her wandering eyes. Feeling warm as she didn't know she had been caught. Instead you ignored it and hoped it wasn't her spacing off.
By lunch you had waltzed into the teachers lounge. Grabbing your bowl of fruit you hid at the bottom of the fridge. You didn't get your mini fridge till next week, hence why you hid it (in your first week Ava had eaten most of your stash).
You were minding your own business entirely, not caring other teachers walked in.
"Damn, you a fine piece of steak!" Ava smiled. You, on pure curiosity, turned to see who she was talking about. Going wide eye when she looked at you. "And the face card matches?! You must be new here!"
You laughed lightly and shook your head. "I've been here since 17'." You beamed proudly. Hands being occupied with the bowl of colors.
"No way, I would've known if someone as sexy as you was on my staff." Ava shook her head in disbelief.
"Ava..." you began, but saw the red head walk in. Catching your attention now that you could see her up closer. You would've spent a second longer if you weren't in the middle of a conversation. "Y/n?" You reminded her.
The shock that rushed into this woman's face was enough to make you almost cackle. It was a recurring look but never got old.
"What happened during that pandemic??" She looked you up and down again. "Get a new body or was this all you?!"
You gave a playful shrug. Making way to exit, but not before looking to the red head. Finding that she was already staring at you.
There was something in her eyes. You wanted to ignore it, but it made you feel so giddy. It was a mix of desire and need. Surely you were misinterpreting things. How could she want a 29 year old? She probably looked for someone who was more experienced and stable. Not that you weren't. You lived in a nice house and a solid credit score.
You found your way to your classroom, missing the second half of lunch in the teachers lounge.
"Ava who was that?" Janine furrowed her brows. Wanting to befriend you almost instantly since this morning. She had also watched you greet kids and she could tell you truly cared.
Melissa, she didn't want to let anyone know she was listening, its why she focused on her newspaper. But she wanted to know everything.
Ava glanced at the teacher. Then jumped to Melissa, folding her arms and turning to her entirely. "You gonna act like you weren't checking them out this morning? I figured with the way you looked ready to eat them alive, you knew more about them than anyone."
Shocked she was pulled in so quickly, she put the paper down. "I mean, I knew they worked here but I didn't know they looked like that after the years. Pandemic changed everyone. Some in ways other than most."
"The hell does that mean?" Ava made a face and left the room. The conversation got dropped at that. Yet, you were still a common topic for them all.
Every lunch they would mention you. From the sightings of you in the halls to interactions. It seemed everyone was having one with you but Melissa.
~
It was close to winter break. The end of the day on a slow Wednesday. You were walking out when you stopped into Barbra's room. Catching her also on her way out. You stepped in closer, grabbing her bags for her. She had complained about how she pulled something in her shoulder earlier. "Oh bless your heart."
"Oh for sure, also I just had a quick question for you. Since you're her friend and everything.." You began but the turn of the corner and suddenly the temperature dropped what felt like ten more degrees. "My goodness it's freezing," you commented.
"Supposed to be the worst storm of the year. They're considering giving us a snow day soon. But with how this world runs, it's all online now." Barb joked. "What about Melissa?" Her lips drew tight in her big smile.
You stopped in front of the door. You were staring hopefully. Getting her attention, you knew you weren't backing down. "Is she..."
Barb let out a laugh. You didn't know what that meant. "I'm not one to tell, but I can't stand to see you both dance around it. Just talk to her. She's not as big and scary as you think."
You followed the older woman out to her car. Placing her bag in her car, before giving her a warm hug. "Get home safe Barb. Its gonna get terrible out."
"You as well, text me when you make it home. Drive safe." Barb hoped into her car and it just left you.
You got to your car, and you would've gotten in, except the red head of your world, her car was still here. The hood was popped and she was digging in the engine.
You watched her after putting your things down. From your observations, she had to be out here longer than needed. Her body was shaking and her breathe was in the air.
Quickly you grabbed the blanket from your back. Rushing to wrap her in it. "You should wear a coat more often, Schemennti. You'll catch a cold."
You heard a relieved sigh leave her when you hugged her with the blanket. Your body heat getting to her. "God, thank you!" She turned in your arms, burying her face in you. You played it to her just being cold, but you couldn't help your heart that was hammering your chest. "This old thing just...I love it but it just doesn't work. And the start of the coldest weeks is when it gives out on me finally. You're so warm!"
You let out a chuckle. "Here, why don't you go warm up in my car and I can take a look?" You offered your keys. She was about to say no, but you gave her a stern look and she followed through.
And within ten minutes or so you came back to the car. Practically moaning at how warm the car was. You rolled your head to look at melissa, smiling at her beautiful face.
You sat up a bit, "you'll need to call a tow, just to get it back to your house. From there, once it's not a snow storm, I can fix it up for you in no time." You hummed out quickly. "And lucky for you, my brother owns a tow company that runs 24 hours and I can have someone here in no time. Then I can drive you home so your nice and warm."
Melissa could've melted at how you were so quick to help. And before she could even answer, you were calling your brother to come get the car.
"Thank you," she whispered to you. "Truly, I would've been stuck here for the storm."
You could only flash a smile. Letting your eyes just take in her features in the dim lighting. You didn't realize how intimate the moment was until you started smiling at the blush that formed.
"Ya' know, you're the only one I hardly talk to? I try to come talk to you alone but someone else is always there," you ratted yourself out. Not really seeing the harm in such a silly confession.
Melissa furrowed her brows. Why would you want to talk to her specifically? "I see the way you stare. I have since the first day. I think I really took it in was when Janine broke the ac and I walked around in a tank top. How you thought I wouldn't catch you." You pointed out, never making eye contact. "I truly figured you had something against me. So I threw myself in your way in hopes you'd see I'm nothing bad and ju-."
"Shut up and kiss me," Melissa cut in. Not realizing what she had said before you had turned to stare at her. "I...I'm sorry." You stared in silence only a little bit longer.
You were so stunned at that. As a matter of fact, you stepped out the car. Rounding to the back and just sitting in the back of the car. Really taking in everything now.
Neither of you moved until your brother showed up. You were cold but in shock. The heat from the car pushing on your back thankfully.
He jumped out quickly and sat next to you. "So." He started. "Was I right?"
"I'm not answering any questions right now." You whispered into the winter air. Your breath being a great focus point. "Can you take the truck to mine?" You turned and looked at him.
"You gotta help me at least." He said with a sly smile. Getting a small smile in return. "We'll make it quick!"
"Whatever," you shook your head. Rounding to grab the keys.
You opened the driver door and leaned in a bit. "The keys?" You spoke softly to her. She began to look around, hands shaking.
You saw this as your chance to make a move. Your left hand went to cup her face, forcing her to look at you. Her breath was unsteady at the action. "Just breathe. We're in no rush." You gave a reassuring look. She nodded and just took a deep breath. "Good girl," you let out with a caring smile. Watching as her eyes went wide and the pink cheeks burned to red.
Melissa felt like she was dreaming. There was no way. Her hands kept patting around, feeling relieved when she had the keys in her hand.
She almost threw them over, but opted to just hand them to you. Setting them slowly in your hand. "Thank you, hun." You pulled away and closed the door.
The woman was left to watch you and your brother load the car up. She stepped out ready to pay the towing fee now. She stood by the back of your car.
Watching as the two of you conversed. Then when you both suddenly looked at her, she felt overly conscious of the situation. You were talking to your brother about her.
You both smiled at her reaction. "I think she thinks she's paying." You joked. Eliciting a laugh from your other half. "Thank you again. Especially because the chances of this working is so slim. Drive safe?"
"You too. And it has to, its a smooth plan," he nudged your arm. Getting into his truck and starting.
Melissa frowned as he left before talking to him. "I never paid him?" She looked to you. Glaring as you just shrugged. "Can I give it to you to give to him?"
"Melissa, the storms about to start and I need to stop home. Money can be a future conversation." You got into the car without much focus.
You drove the both of you in a silence. Humming and tapping along to the music.
Melissa couldn't take it though. "So...you've been at Abbott for?"
"Like five years or something? I don't know, the whole pandemic threw my sense of time off. Crazy how much people changed during it." You let the joke slide.
"So you were here for two years prior Covid?" The red head lingered on the topic, needing to know how much she's missed you in the halls. "How come everyones just meeting you?"
You let out a little laugh. "Nobody pays attention to a kid that looks like a nerd. So during the pandemic I made a gym in my garage and then I got to it. My friends say I look happier than ever." You slowed down at the red light. Eyes catching the snow that began to fall.
You couldn't help the excitement when you saw the setting change.
"So that makes you, what like, twenty-four?" She attempted the math. You seemed younger.
You shook your head, "almost thirty but saying it out loud is such a weird thing. One day you're ten running in a flower field, and then the next you're twenty-nine trying to figure out where the hell the time went."
"Imagine how that feeling feels at fifty-three.." She sounded defeated at admitting such an age.
Your head tilted towards her, slightly rolling back to see her with a playful smirk. "You're only fifty-three?" Melissa nodded, a questioning stare being given. "I just thought you were always younger, you look stunning regardless though." And then ever so slightly under your breath, "just makes you even more attractive honestly."
Melissa's eyes grew, "What?"
"Huh?" You smiled widely. The light turned green and the silence was quick to appear.
Her eyes focused on the road but she wasn't really focused. Lost in a daze of the moment. She didn't notice how you were already at your house. Hopping out the car, you basked in the snow.
Letting it fall against your cheeks and getting stuck in your hair. Your eyes sparkled in the house lights you had.
Finally, you brought yourself to look at the older woman. Then quickly you jumped to her red truck in your driveway. A bigger smile on your face.
"Whys my truck here?" She furrowed her brows. Her green eyes stared at you, not for long though. She couldn't meet your stare for long it seemed. There was some sense of dominance you held over her. It was a new feeling for her.
With a wide ass grin, you went inside. Setting down the little stuff you brought in before going back for your bags. Bringing in Melissa's as well.
"Wait? If we're leaving why are you taking in my bag?" Melissa hoped out now. Jumping as the car locked. "Y/n?!"
You kept going in. Letting her follow behind you like it was nothing. You set everything down and took off your shoes, leaving them by the couch. Your sweater following soon after. The dark green leaving your body and showing off your black cami.
Your arms all full display for Melissa. You poured both a glass of wine. "We're in no rush to get anywhere. Worst case is you sleep in my bed." You pushed the glass to her. "Keep me company for a bit?"
She was stuck in her place. What were your intentions tonight? The thoughts pondered and banged around in her head. "Ok," she mumbled. Taking the glass and taking a deep sip.
"Are you hungry?" You asked, walking towards the fridge. "I can make a killer bowl of cereal!"
"Do you have anything to make pasta? I can help?" She proposed. Melissa set the glass down and walked up to you. Standing behind you and looking over your shoulder. "God you eat healthy. All these fruits."
You turned and looked down at her. "I like naturally sweet." You had this look in your eyes. Like you were implying something and she caught on. She was blushing and looking into your fridge.
Carefully, you slipped from next to her. Melissa figured you were going over to the pantry to look for noodles. Yet, she jumped went she could feel your hands on her hips and breath on her ear. "I bet you taste sweet." You whispered, moving before she could turn.
Melissa felt flustered. She wasn't enjoying being teased like how you were. You did it so effortlessly. So incredibly effortlessly.
"I have these noodles?" You pulled out a box of thin noodles. "Will they work?"
She inspected the box, then your hands. She zoned in on them forgetting the question. Once you moved closer, she came back. You got into her space, trapping her between the island and you.
"If you keep staring at me like that Melissa, I'm gonna be enjoying you tonight." Your voice dropped an octave. "You're a very desirable woman."
Her mouth fell open and then snapped shut. She watched as you smirked. "What? Can't get anything out?" You leaned closer to her lips. Faking them out twice before pulling back.
If Melissa wanted anything, she would have to get it herself. And she wanted you.
As you stepped back, she yanked you back. Crashing her lips to yours in a desperate manner. Feeling how you smiled against her. It made her more sexually upset. How you had all this cool collective manner.
And the small control she had was soon taken away. You had her bending back slightly on the counter as you deepen the kiss. Hands holding her hips as you led.
A small gasp left the red head as you lifted her on the counter like she was a feather. It gave you the chance to establish your dominance.
"You are just so adorable like this. On my counters, in a state of desperation." You cooed at her. Looking into her eyes as your hands pushed her legs open. "My Melissa." You beamed at her. Eyes jumping all over her face.
The title sounded right to her. Being yours. Having your strong arms to always protect her when she needed more. Or just to be all wrapped up in them. How they probably would hold her so snug that you'd never let her go. Not that she wants to leave.
"Are you sure about this? I can easily step back and act like it never happened." You drew serious. If what was about to happen wasn't what she was wanting, you'd never lay a finger on her again. But when her head bobbed, you could only smile. "I need a verbal answer, Melli."
Melissa almost fainted at the nickname. How it rolled perfectly off your tongue. How it was a nickname she only heard once in a while. But when it came from you, she wanted to hear it all the time.
"I want you." She practically begged. This was an entirely new side of her. Usually she was the one to make people beg for her. To chase after her. Not the other way around. But when you wouldn't chase, she became a mess for you. Dare say submissive for you.
You let adoration fill your eyes as you kissed her all over her face. The most passionate kiss being to her plush lips. You were claiming them to a point. This woman was now yours, but you've always been hers.
You were slow and careful, yet fast and rough. It only took a simple opening for you to wrap her legs around you and carry her to your room. Where you delicately sat her on the edge of your bed while you stood between her legs and looked down.
"You're so strong..."she whispered, listening as you chuckled. "Really," her hand snuck up on your arm. Giving your bicep a squeeze, only going wide eye at how strong you really were.
"You have no idea how long I've been thinking of you...how many times I've thought of being able to manhandle you. To be rough. Then to be soft. The images never fulfill me enough." You kissed all over her neck. Your eyes were almost just pupil with how dilated they became. "I've longed for you Melissa...I've worked so hard for you..."
She was speechless as she watched you move. As you lowered to your knees in front of her. Hands firmly placed on her wonderous thighs. The same ones you've pictured closing on your head. Your tongue darted out at the thought.
Your hands moved up to the waistband of her jeans. Holding her and just admiring her from your angle. "You're such a beauty Melissa. Always quick with your wit. Always making everyone laugh." Your words distracted her from your sneaky hands.
"I bet you have people waiting to be with you."
Fingers undid the button.
"You make me want to do things...unspeakable things."
Slowly unzipping the zipper down.
"Things that would make the devil blush."
You took your time pulling them down. Humming as she lifted her hips for you. "Thank you baby, I appreciate your help." You placed a kiss to her now exposed hips. Feeling a rush at her shaky breath.
Her pants were now long forgotten as you littered her legs with kisses. You tapped at her hips twice, "open," you commanded against her skin. Getting her to do spread her legs without any hesitation. "So good for me already," you hummed. Keeping up the kisses as you got closer to where she wanted, but your kisses passed and you had her leaning down to kiss you desperately.
She was about to slip down to the ground with you, only until you picked her up again. Your hands placed to hold as much of her ass as you could. As her arms wrapped around your neck and hands tangled in your hair as she kept kissing you.
You took this chance, she was beyond distracted and you knew it. You wondered how much she was willing to let you do, and if you could accomplish it all within one night. That's how you ended up with her straddling you in the middle of the bed. Soon laying her down to be under you.
"You're so perfect, Melissa." You cooed as you sat up and stared down at her. Taking in how her head rolled to the side, avoiding looking at you while she blushed. You however, you wanted to see every single facial reaction possible. You gently grabbed her jaw and turned her back to you and she saw your frown. "You don't think the same do you?"
How could she? She's been through so much life and it's taken its toll. She let the thoughts seep in a bit, and the tears snuck up.
"Oh Melissa," you felt for her. In a cruel world where everything you do is always second guessed. The fear that it's wrong weighed on you everyday. You knew what it was like not to feel perfect. But she was to you. And you were destined to show her. Your hand moved to cup her cheek, "you deserve so much. And you Melissa, you are perfect to me. You are human and it's ok to feel, but that should never make you feel anything short of worthy and loved."
A tear slipped into your palm, "you are something special." She got out as she accepted your kiss.
"Mmm, I do my best." You smiled and kissed her once more. Going to her neck soon after and biting down softly at first, getting a gasp, then you did it again. This time harder and more fierce, gaining more of a moan. It switched something in the air again. "You always sound that pretty?" You kissed what exposed collar bone you could.
"Take your clothes off and maybe you'll find out," she was breathing heavily. Eyes wandering over your arms and then the rest of you. "God you're so hot," she whispered. Her hands ghosting over your muscles.
"Gonna make me think you're in it only for the muscles," you joked as you pulled your cami off. Showing off everything you've worked for.
Melissa's mouth ran dry, "they're sexy is all..." she stared at you in silence after that. So much adoration flooded her eyes. She felt almost like she was dreaming.
While she was spaced out and staring, you slipped your hands under her shirt. Grabbing her waist and pulling her closer to you. She gasped, "keep staring at me like that and I'll never cover them up again." You meant it. You couldn't help the on-going desire this woman made you feel.
You dipped back to her neck as your hands played with her chest through her bra. You could feel her staggered breathing and racing heart. It made you insane. This woman made you insane.
"Hun...I need more," she panted while her legs squirmed a bit under you.
You pulled away and pulled her with you. Sitting her up as you almost ripped her shirt off. Leaving her now in nothing but her underwear and bra. You gazed over her, taking in as much of her as you could within the few moments. It wasn't a surprise to you that she was beautiful, it was just a shock that she was even more stunning than what you could even imagine.
"Hun?" Melissa had called out to you. Looking in your eyes for anything that could give her insight to your thoughts.
You let this smile take over. It was wide and full of joy. The corner of your lips hit each ear and a rosy color dusted your cheeks and nose. "My Melli, so pretty. So sexy. So stunning."
She groaned at your words. Eyes quick to look away from you as she blushed. "Y/n...you don't-"
"I do." You had all the seriousness you could muster. Eyes holding nothing but adoration and admiration. "I mean everything I say to you."
Her cheeks were on fire at how loved she suddenly felt. Even if that wasn't what you were trying to imply, she knew you had too much of it to contain in just your being. Even if this was only a short thing she got to share with you, she was willing to take the heartbreak that would follow.
You on the other hand, you were bout to be dedicated to this woman for the rest of your life and you set that as a life goal. You couldn't stand to believe you had thought she hated you this entire time. The time you wasted just trying to get her to talk to you, when all you had to do was just start the conversation with her. Seriously, how blind could you be?
She looked back to you now. Eyes glistening in the dim lighting. It made your smile grow and her heart fluttered. "There she is," you couldn't help the excitement that filled your words. You leaned in and captured her lips with yours once more. "You'll be good for me right?"
Her head nodded as all thoughts behind her eyes disappeared. She became lost in the haze. You couldn't help the smile that grew as you held her face now. But your eyes contradicted your sweet tone. They were demanding words from her and she knew it. "Yes. I'll be good." She whispered.
Your smile turned devilish as you dipped down to kissed her neck. "Just relax, baby. Tonight's about you." Your hands pushed her shoulders back down to the mattress. Fingertips moving lightly over her abdomen to the waistband of her panties. You let them slip to hold her waist, and you'd be lying if you said you weren't imagining holding her while pounding into her. How her boobs would bounce and how her thighs would shake. Her moans would float in the air. "God I could ruin you." It fell out your mouth before you really knew it. Your hips rolled forward, hands pulling her to meet you in the movement.
You leaned forward and attached your lips to her neck. Biting at her pulse point and soothing it over with your tongue. You wanted to leave a mark, not telling people she was yours but leaving the signs. And you thought of the teasing you could pull on this woman. It tempted you more just the thought of her getting flustered.
Her low groan caught you first, "don't even think about it." She grabbed a fistful of your hair and carefully tugged.
"I already have," you pecked her pulse once more before dropping to her chest. Now you let yourself go, she would have to cover it all for the week. But the sinful moans she let out made it all worth it. How her chest pushed off the bed and up, you took the chance to unclasp her bra. Almost unnoticeably slipping it off.
She was free from any restraint and the exposure made even her chest flush. Not that you seemed to mind, if anything Melissa swore it made you even more aroused.
You leaned up for only a brief second, eyes sparkling as you took in your mural. Your smile was huge as you were suddenly full of proudness. "Absolutely beautiful." You mumbled loud enough for her to catch it. Peppering her face with kisses, her harden nipples brushing against the fabric of your bras. It pulled an impatient whine from her.
Melissa's hands ran over your back, dragging her nails down once before fiddling with the clasp of your bra. Struggling just a bit as your lips had fallen to work on the other side of her neck. Yet, she made up with how quick it was thrown against the window. Your laugh frustrated her a bit, she'd have to find ways to make you flustered.
That would have to be a thought she came back to, seeing as you were good at distracting her. Your head moving lower and lower on her body. Kissing against her burning skin and over her hips. She etched the image of you kissing her hip bone into her mind forever.
Your fingers hooked into her panties, ready to pull them down but her hips pushed down into the bed. You snapped your eyes up to her breathtaking green ones. "What is it, darling?" You were quick to switch from the lust filled gaze to concern.
"I want to see all of you," she sat up. Her hand held your cheek. "Rumors are you never wear shorts because you skip leg day?"
Your jaw dropped at that idea. You? Skip leg day? You laughed before standing for her to have full view of your body. Smirking at the way she watched you undo your belt with one hand flawlessly. The brown corduroy pants fell from your hips. Silencing the rumor almost instantly.
"I've never skipped leg day," you winked before coming back to the bed. The both of you in nothing but your underwear. "Who started these rumors?" You were standing on your knees and staring down at her. Taking in how precious she seemed in this moment.
Yet, you weren't expecting the smile that danced on her lips. "I did." She confidently confessed, her hand coming onto the back of your thigh. "You've never worn shorts or skirts during the beginning of the year. So I figured it was because your legs didn't match the arms."
You pondered her reasoning, not believing it for a second. You were in jorts almost daily in the beginning of the year. "Mmh, if you wanted my pants off all you had to do was ask." You placed a long kiss to her lips, sinking down to her level.
"It's not that easy," she rolled her eyes at your smartness. A soft grin forming on her lips as you pushed her back down. "You lift with your legs?"
All her answer was, was a wink. "Always." You muttered before lowering to be between her legs again. It might've become your new favorite spot and you've barely spent time there. You littered her thighs with your love.
The tiniest of shake in her legs told you she was ready for more. But part of you wanted her to say it first. Melissa had groaned when she realized what you were doing as well. She tried to avoid it by grabbing a fistful of your hair and directing you to her core, but you didn't budge.
She groaned again as you nipped her plush thighs. "Fuck, I need more hun. I need you to do more."
She felt your smile and it made her even more turned on. You placed a kiss to the waistband before grabbing it with your teeth. Eyes shinning up at her as you pulled them down. Your heart thumped in your ears as the adrenaline began to rush through your veins.
Even though you wanted to dive in and fulfill every fantasy you've had for the last few months, you wanted to savor this. Savor her.
Your lips pressed all over her. Listening as her breathing picked up and her breath would halt when you got close to her clit. Then suddenly she felt your tongue swipe through her folds. Gasping at the sensation.
She didn't realize how much you had worked her up until a minute in she was already fighting against you. Her mind could focus on you and your movements, and only you. Moaning at the feeling of two digits sliding into her. It hasn't felt that good in years.
Your tongue focused on her bundle of nerves while you fingers plunged to their deepest and you began to loose it. Her moans made you move faster, faster, and faster.
Melissa hadn't even realized the third finger till she was right on the edge. The stretch it brought burning through her as her body began to tighten. "Just like that, come all over my face and fingers." You moaned against her.
She couldn't see you as her head rolled back into the pillows. But right as the coils snapped, so did she. Her body instantly sitting off the mattress as she watched herself come on you. Jaw slacked as pants fell out.
You weren't done though. You couldn't get enough of the sweet nectar this woman produced. You wanted it every chance you would get. So much so, you cleaned her within seconds after her first orgasm. So eager to see her face, you had to force yourself off her and kissed her fiercely. Letting her taste herself off your swollen lips.
"You're the sweetest," you groaned into her lips. Dropping by her cheek and planting one delicate kiss. Her pupils were blown and hair tousled on the pillows. "What else do you want?"
The question stunned the already stunned. Green eyes shifted to look like they've never been asked such a question in bed. "What...what else can you do?"
The returned ask was all it took for your lips to curl devilishly. "Anything you can think of." You sparkled in the situation, but Melissa seemed to shine in the moment.
A deeper rush of blood coursed her entire body. Reddening her right before your eyes. Her chest caved in, rising in a sharp inhale. "There's a fantasy.." was all she got out before you instantly knew the rest.
Your head turned to the side and you bit your fist. You'd enjoy nothing more actually. You gave her another kiss (something you might've fallen in love with doing) before humming positively. "I'm going to make you scream." You slipped away. Sock clad feet carrying you to your dresser. "I bet you've never gotten a proper fucking."
Her heart stuttered in her chest. It wasn't what you said, hell she's heard men say that to her for years, but the way you said it.
You weren't asking her, you just knew. You knew she'd never been touched properly. Never been cared for. Never been able to just lay there and take it. It made you cocky, showing it in the small smile you spoke through. Your muscular back to her, she watched your body flex and relax as you searched for something.
Your head turned to show her half your face, and much to her suspicion, a smirk pulled your lips. "You'll be good for me, yeah? My good girl, Melli?"
Her once dominating eyes shined over with submission. A look she caught in the mirror off to the side. She's seen it before, she faked it majority of her marriage, but this scared her for how raw and true it was this time.
"Don't worry," you fully turned, the deep red strap hanging from your fingers. "I'll take real good car of ya'. Pinky promise."
Melissa didn't speak as you sauntered back over, taunting her as the dildo swung in the air. The closer you got, the more she could register the size. Not only was it rather large, it had quite some girth. "You're rather bold..." She finally met your sparkling eyes and fake frown.
"I put a lot of thought into which strap I bought!" You defended, handing it over for her to feel it out. And you waited till she had fully inspected it before continuing, "I wanted one that would make your eyes pop as I throat fuck you."
The air stilled. Melissa worried you would be able to hear her heart beat in the silence. "...yeah?" she exhaled the single word.
You began grinning, loving the feeling of really knowing what she needed without ever being told. "Absolutely. Why don't you help me in it?"
And she did. Kneeling on the mattress as she pulled the straps tight around your hips. It suited you. It was accurate to how much big dick energy you walked around with.
The moment you were all set, you cupped her warm cheeks. A thumb stroking back and forth. "God I can't wait to hear you." You leaned down to her, giving a slow, way more sensual kiss. "Let's get you situated."
You both shuffle around. Melissa throwing a pillow at your feet before slowly peeling herself from the bed. She gave you a show of her bare body as she sauntered in front of you, using your strong hips as an anchor when she lowered. Her eyes stared through mascara coated lashes. Her lips kissed the silicon tip. It was your turn to let your breathing stutter.
Here is when you realized that every nasty thought you had with this woman was possible. That she had her own as well that she'd use you for. The idea of being used by her made your mind glitch. "You're gonna be the death of me..." a strong hand ran through the fiery waves and grabbed a fistful.
Your hips slowly rolled forward as you held her head still. Starting only so much before the pace began to pick up. Hitting further and further till finally hitting its deepest venture. Stilling to the soft gagging, your lip was caught between your teeth. Her eyes were absolutely beautiful.
As you watched the tears prick her eyes and threaten to spill, you set a steady pace. In....out....in...out...in..out. In. Out. Her nose hit your torso each time. Her hands held your muscular thighs as you moved. Tears had finally rolled past her temples.
Your heart squeezed. Even as you knew they were tears of pleasure, seeing the green eyes water made your grip in her hair loosened. Your free hand came up to wipe away the crystal of pain and pleasure.
Melissa shuddered. Through the brutal pace of your hips, you still cared. That if this was just a one time thing, you wouldn't have done such an intimate act. That if this was a one time thing the darkness in your eyes wouldn't be shadowing the endless adoration.
She gazed up at you the entire time. Never once did she let you look away from your own work. But as much as she enjoyed the roughness delivered to her throat, she was relieved when you slowed and pulled back.
No words were exchanged as you crouched to her level and scooped her into your muscular arms, firm hands holding her ass.
Melissa felt her heart skip a beat. She's always been aware of her size, that she wasn't young and thin anymore. But she worked her curves in ways that makes a gazillion dollars look bad. And here you were, holding her in your arms and kissing her like she was absolutely weightless. All cause you worked to be able to hold her.
She felt dazed by her own thoughts, missing how you situated you both on the bed. A pillow under her hips as her thighs rested atop of yours, bending at the knee only slightly to ease the stretch.
You hovered around her for a moment. "You'll tell me if it's too much?" You whispered into the air, like a quiet prayer only meant for a goddess to hear.
Melissa was the one to kiss you, "promise." She confirmed.
And sigh! She had expected you to take it slow. To ease into such a large size, but you had worked her up so much that the appendage slide in without a fight. Mellisa gasped at the stretch however.
Your lips attached to her neck, lightly littering kisses. You gave her a few seconds to relax again in your hands before your hips rolled again. Greedy hands roamed her body and held her comfortably in place.
The dragging of the veiny details scrapped against her walls in the most delightful way. Soft sighs fell continuously from her lips. A delicate person you were on top of her. "I could stay here forever...wrapped in your very being."
Your hips drive faster and faster into her aching core. Her sighs were moans and your grip was tightening. Nails dug into plush thighs.
Right when you could tell she was getting there, your thumb found her bundle of nerves and ran tight circles over and over. "F..fuck! Just like that!" She finally found her voice and it was hoarse. Strained and fighting its way out. "So big..."
Your lips curled, "oh my sweet girl. Taking me all so well. Bet you've never had anyone handle you like this." And just as your words ends, you had lifted her back into your lap, pounding up into their now.
Melissa didn't have to do much work, you made sure of it. All she got to do was enjoy the brutal truth of how well you fucked. "Please..please..."
A low chuckle came out first. "Go on princess, let it all wash over you." You cooed.
You knew how to wrap your words around Melissa without fail. And once they held her all nice and snug, she snapped. Crying out your name as her head fell backwards before rolling forward to your shoulder. Her hot pants hit your collarbones. You held her in your arms and panted with her.
Neither of you really moved for a while. The woman had shifted slightly closer into you, but that was it. You had wondered if she fell asleep, but when you went to even check she just hummed instead. A silent plea not to move.
"Are you ok, sweetheart?" You spoke so carefully into her untamed mane. She gave you another soft hum, causing you to lightly chuckle. "Imma lift you off now ok?"
And surely, you had eased her off of you and onto the mattress. Giving yourself a second to discard the strap and start the tub in the bathroom. You moved around like you had done this a million times before, and to Melissa she assumed you had. With skills like that...she couldn't help but wonder.
Suddenly she was aware of her behavior tonight. Regardless of being insanely sore, she sat up, wrapping herself in the blanket. She felt a little confused on everything. Despite everything you said and everything you did without doing and saying, she still had her doubts. You were young, still had chances out there for you. You deserved to go get what she never did.
She was deep in her thoughts, really deep. She didn't notice you standing right there in front of her analyzing the way her face contorted.
"Melissa, honey." You quietly demanded her attention. That caring glint in the back of your eyes was now at the front. Bearing it all to her as you crawled closer. "Whatcha thinkin' about?"
"This is gonna change a lot...like a lot a lot." She mumbled, it came out lost, like there was no end in sight lost.
"How much do you want it to change?" You raised.
"I want to know if I let it, that I won't regret it so soon. I'm in my fifties, you're just getting into your thirties...there's more for you than me..." Green eyes sparkled with guilt.
Your brows furrowed in great confusion now. "I mean...not really? I don't want kids, prefer a cat or something. And as for people my age, they're all just other adults. None of which I am attracted to as I am absolute smitten by you Melissa Schemmenti. I told you it before and I will tell you after. I've only wanted you. So what nonsense are you trying to pull?"
She tried not to laugh, pursing her lips and bitting the inside of her cheek. "Will you be serious about this?"
"I am!" You cried before scooping her body up into your arms (still as smoothly as you did the first time). "Oh Melissa what do I have to do to prove to you!" You smothered her face with kisses. Carrying her into the bathroom as well to see the bubble bath you drew up for her. The steam for how hot the water must be seeping through the suds. "I drew you a bath!" You cheesed in a British accent.
~
That morning, you both did your classes online from different parts of your house. Melissa got to choose your office, while you took the living room.
"Ms. Schemmenti?"
"Yes, April?" The red head beamed into the camera, peering over her glasses slightly.
"Why are you in Ms. y/l/n's home?" She asked so suddenly.
"Yeah, my brother is in her class, they were in that room last time we did online!" Javier chirped up as well.
And that's when the redhead remembered she doesn't know what grade you teach. She assumed based on how colorful you dressed, it was younger, kindergarten even. Yet when she had finally dismissed her kids for lunch and recess, she came to see you still on a call.
A deep conversation on some history lesson could be heard from a collection of your students. You had glanced up briefly to Melissa and flashed her a smile, cheeks warming only slightly.
"Oooh, Ms. y/l/n! Who got you smiling like thaaaat!!" Tanesha cut through the class discussion. Soon everyone had their camera's on and were looking at you for an answer.
You could only Sutter over your own laughter. "That's what it takes to get your camera's all on?" You dodged the question.
Only, your secret was foiled the moment Javier ran into his older sister's room. Jumping right into the camera. "Ms. y/l/n! Did you know Ms. Schemmenti is in your office?!" He sounded shocked.
But not as shocked as your class did when they easily put things together. Your cheeks were burning up as you could only beam at the woman standing just behind your computer.
Your head shook, "alright! alright! I confess! She is at my house but that's because her car broke down and the storm hit before we could make it to her house. But that is all that it is, you little dweebs. Now! Go! Be free from this history lecture!" You dismissed.
For a moment, the briefest moment, you thought you were fine. That the kids would all dismiss the idea in record time. But in an even more astonishing record time, Jacob texted the group chat.
So Melissa and y/n are a thing. Didn't know we did secrets!
"Well that didn't take very long." You laughed.
You jumped from your spot and rushed over to the second grade teacher. Scooping her up and peppering kisses all over her face. "Oh I could so get used to carrying you!" You radiated your joy like no one else.
"Me too, hun." She smirked, this time being the one to lean down and give you a slower kiss. It stole your breath and left you in awe. Cheeks tinted with redness. "Oh I can't wait to learn you."
~
The next time everyone sees the two of you it's in the teachers lounge. Giggling by the coffee machine together as everyone watched you make both drinks and she stood next to you and stared with a very pleased smile. She got you to wear a fitted long sleeve for the day, and boy did she enjoy how good your arms looked.
summary: Emily's had a rough case and there's only one person she knows who can help her manage it all.
warnings: I describe a kinda detailed case, like cme type of detail, some language, but it does end happy! (Angst and fluff)
A/N: I questioned a lot during this
Masterlist
"I don't know how she always does it." Penelope hummed as her, JJ, and Tara all watched Emily in her office. Their boss hadn't come out of her office for a while now, not since they had hit a dead end in their case. Her hair was tossed over the back of the chair, silver waves flowing extraordinarily still. "She's so at peace even when there's nowhere to go."
"That's Emily for you," JJ sighed. "I don't think I've seen her really stressed out since maybe Reid's arrest. One day she just seemed so at ease."
"She hasn't been the same reckless Emily for a few years now, if you three haven't noticed." Rossi came by the desk, eyes also following into the office.
They noted every detail of her movements as she picked up her phone, bringing it close to her ear and seeming to melt even further into her seat. "Oh, there is so something she's not sharing with us!" Penelope pointed, being to ramble off all the possibilities of what the secret could be.
Meanwhile Emily listened to the sound of your voice as you got ready for bed. Like clock work, at eleven-forty you called as you began to do your skin care for the night. The whole process took you till midnight where hopefully Emily would finally tell you she's leaving the office for the night or atleast heading back to her hotel. She'd tell you all about her day while she drove back. Each time you were already asleep by the time she was home.
But like recent nights, she'd talk to you from the office. Letting you drift off to the sound of her voice before hanging up the call and getting back to work. When she hung up after going over the more pleasant parts of her day, she took a moment. Sighing in deep and holding it for a few seconds too long. Releasing a shaky sigh while standing. Hunching over her desk and letting her hair fall past her ears. She didn't move for a moment.
"Somebody needs to call it." Tara frowned, hating to see a case take such a toll. "At least she needs a break."
"Rossi you should say something!" Penelope nudge the old man's shoulder lightly. Knowing he had the most influence with the unit chief.
He turned to look at the three women, ready to protest in trying so, but he was greeted with three stern looks. None looked willing to let this be up for debate. Only there wasn't as Emily walked out.
Her eyes were tired as she stared at her agents. "Listen, I know we are all tired, exhausted even..we've hit another dead end and as much as it kills me to say this, it might be time to set it aside and focus on others." She sighed, rubbing her eyes mostly to rush away the tears that built up.
Suddenly the secret was put on hold and there was a bigger issue. "Wait, we're just giving up on this one?" JJ was quick to say something. "Those people need our help, we can't just let this guy go!"
"And we can't keep chasing false leads. We've ran into five dead ends at this point. We're not making any progress." Her wised voice was calm even though the lump in her throat was suffocating.
The team all glance at each other. "Are you sure this is the right call?" Luke spoke unsure. Truly thinking that maybe the next lead would be the one. "This guy is-"
"I know what he's doing. And I know he's been playing the authorities better than anyone's expected. We only find more victims. I know I personally can't take another to this list. It's time to move on to the next killer and hope this one gets sloppy or bored. So go home, go to sleep, and pray for a simpler day tomorrow." Her brown, sad eyes dismissed everyone. Watching them this time as they all reluctantly began to pack up and trudge their ways out of the bureau.
The next thirty minutes was Emily in the quiet offices putting all their evidence in boxes. Defeated tears streamed past her cheeks as it was just one victim after another. She felt hopeless.
It seemed every case was weighing on her and she managed to keep it so together. But finally she felt the many bottles of emotions begin to crack and spill. There was only one solution she knew of but she had to finish here.
Meanwhile you sat on the couch with another expecting glass of wine. Waiting up to see if you could catch Emily and talk to her finally. It felt like years since the last real conversation.
It wasn't like you to stay up though. Normally you slept earlier and woke up earlier, not that midnight was any better than Emily's one am record. But tonight you could hear everything you needed to know within her voice.
The unforgivingness she always thinks she could hide, how it tainted her words anytime she referred to herself. She was holding something above herself. It was also the slowness of her sentences. Like she was calculating what parts to share with you. You've been with her long enough to know how Emily avoids talking about heavier things.
So you patiently waited for her.
And waited till twelve-thirty.
Then waited till one.
You flipped your phone, maybe you missed the text that they were staying extra late. But when the screen lit up there was nothing. No late text, no missed phone call, radio silence.
Right as you were about to call her, the front door creaked open. "Em?" You lightly called out. Listening intently for the creak of the floor. "Is that you, sweetheart?"
As if she was turned into a sloth, she slowly crept down the hall. Stopping right at the end and just staring at you. Her eyes holding no light; they were puffy and red. "I've been sitting outside in the car for about thirty minutes..." She confessed, her own disappointment stabbing the both of you.
Without another word you slipped off the couch. You found your place right infant of the agent. Warm, caring hands reached up to her face holding her tear stained cheeks. "Why didn't you come in?" You could feel her sadness begin to slip into you.
"I didn't know how...I've never felt so much all at once..." She turned into your palm, pressing her lips against the skin. "I didn't know if it'd be too much for the both of us."
Your own lips curled into a small smile. "Emily Prentiss, I told you the first time and I guess I have to tell you again. Nothing, and I mean nothing, could be too much as long as we're doing it together."
"But you always-."
"Because it's what I'm good at. Now, come sit and lay it on me my sweets." You weakly smiled, feeling a lump being to grow in your throat. Carefully you dropped your hands into hers and drag her tired frame to the couch.
You wrapped her up well, using the one of many throws that decorated the furniture ever since you moved in. Then you coaxed her into your lap, where her head rested on your thigh and fingers ran gracefully along her scalp. "I haven't seen you in awhile.." your voice was nothing more than a whisper.
"The case...it was bigger than what we thought." She wanted to shut her eyes, to bask in your touch and doze off into well needed sleep, but she didn't. She couldn't. "It came to us as just any other would, a few victims somehow connected but all just makred missing. It was local-ish. Too close to take the jet, but far enough we got a hotel."
Your lashes fluttered as you blinked rapidly, tears had already found their way to your eyes. She's been holding so much... "When did you realize it was more than what you thought?"
There was a second of hesitation. "When we found the ditch full of bones." Emily shuddered as the image flashed even with her eyes open. It played like a movie against the wall she stared at. "That was only our first deadend.."
A hand wiped away the first fallen tear, quick to catch it before it fell into the silver hair. "What happened..." You couldn't help the shaky breath. "What happened next?"
Emily rolled in your lap, wounded brown eyes gazing up to your watery ones. "Are you sure?" Her lips were tugging down. "We don't have to.."
You gave her such a sad smile that night. Even as you began to feel the last twenty days of emotions, you still managed to reassure her. "I'll let you know if it gets too heavy, m'kay?"
She nodded slightly only after mulling over if she wanted to continue. After all, this wasn't your everyday therapy session. "We called almost everyone we could. Counted them by their skulls...It was so silent after that. Our victim count went from four to seventy-eight. Nothing made sense." You could barely speak. "We had a spark of hope when one of our victims showed up."
Your brows furrowed and eyes closed, the tears no longer felt sad as they fell...No they fell out of fear suddenly. Slowly you opened your eyes and stared baffled. Emily's never shown you this type of fear before. "But?"
"It was fucking awful...their skin..perfectly cut from the skeleton and filled with all sorts of things. It didn't help when there were creatures from all over the damn map." She spoke as if retelling the case would wake her up from this nightmare. her eyes didn't dare find yours just yet. "I'd never seen anything like this. None of us had. So we started digging around, collecting new names and locations. Not a single thing lined up with the last."
"So how'd you continue?"
"We took what we had and went back to the bureau. We had a better chance with all the resources there than in the town. Penelope...She'll need to cleanse her entire office tomorrow. We gathered all the victims that were found. It didn't even make up half." Emily hated how chills ran over her the same way they did then.
It frustrated her that her job could still have such a lingering effect on her. After all she's ever been through, kidnapped, died, beaten. Cases were sad yeah, but in this line you have to move on so quick. "Why don't we get you ready for bed, hmm? Wash off some of this?" Your sweet voice broke into her own thoughts.
When she glanced back to you, it was like being held captive. Through the tears that seemingly poured out your eyes, there was all that love and care. Big and unmistakable.
No answer was given as the two of you just began moving in harmony. You holding her hand tightly, fingers intwined, lead her right up to the bedroom. "Why don't you go take of all your makeup, and I'll get you some pajamas?" You nodded towards the connected bathroom.
She agreed and disappeared for a few moments. The only sound to fill the entire house being the sink running. You couldn't help but wonder if it was meant to cover her small sniffles from you. It didn't, but you weren't going to push her anymore than what you already were.
In your silence, you sat and waited. Not even caring that more than fifteen minutes had now passed. The time was nearing two and you truly didn't know if continuing this tonight would relieve her from some of it.
Emily emerged from the bathroom finally, eyes redder than before. That was all your suspicions needed to be confirmed. "We should take a break..continue this in the morning?"
"You'll be gone before I even wake up..." Her eyes, now that you could see the bags that weighed her down, were almost pleading to finish this tonight. To help her from so much.
You didn't say much as Emily changed and climbed into the bed with you. Hands tightly holding you close as if you were a secret that could disappear. Her middle and ring fingers dragged up and down your spine, like something was being traced.
"How'd he do it?...take out the skeletal system?" You let your hands tangle back into her hair. Tugging just barely to make her look at you. Even though you had a strong guess, you're curiosity seemed to ask anyways.
Her hand stilled against the middle of your spine, pressing right into a single vertebrae. You knew instantly. "He took it out almost perfectly from the back...there was so much precision with every cut. We assumed after that he'd fill them and stitch them back up. It was sickening...none of us wanted to go to the corner."
"I take it you and Rossi ended up going?"
"Even he was unsettled. It led us to our second deadend, the snake found in the one...it was a crossbreed. Didn't even exist in any book. So not only is this unsub highly skilled with a knife, they're a damn reptile breeder and has no trace of imports. What was even worse is the snake tried to eat its way out, holes through intestines that only led nowhere." She swallowed thickly. There was no way to not describe it. To describe the horrors of her job. The ones she put a brave face on for her team, but in the comfort of your arms she saw them as that. The horrors no human should have to ever face. But unfortunately she does.
"How many dead ends do you hit before calling it?" Your warm breath fanned across her cheeks.
"Five....five dead ends that just lead to me giving up. We couldn't keep chasing this person whoever it was. They just kept outsmarting us at every turn. No traces back to them at all....but it was the look from the team when I decided." Her words were shaky and at the end broken. The lump in her throat reforming and tears forming quicker than realization. "The way they all shifted against me."
You could only think of how wrong you knew she was. The team was her family and one decision wouldn't tear them apart. "Em..you know they would never."
Your thumbs were free from her silver ways and wiping at the tears. "I figured it'd be what was best..we were all so tired." She searched your eyes for the answer, not knowing if she'd actually find it or not. "What if it just gets worse? What if my call put a hundred more at risk?"
"For the night, you had to put you and your team's wellbeing first. It wasn't giving up. You tried, several times. You weren't going to get anywhere with all this on you. You'll go back, refreshed, freed from the two weeks of shitty sleep and coffee, and maybe you'll see a different angle. A new hint you missed before. But don't for a second think taking care of yourself is giving up." You spoke to her so softly, reasoning out her worries. "Nobody is going to be mad at you for just taking a little break."
Emily looked so lost in your hands. Her big doe like eyes reminded you of the first time you met her. When you really first met her.
"Emily! How are we doing this week?" You beamed up at her from behind chunky glasses. Your smile was wide but faltered a little when she slowly crept onto your couch. "Not good I take it?"
"We had a really rough week...two of my agents were kidnapped." There was a deep frown in her words, sad brown eyes stared aimlessly at the floor. "Then another was on the verge of quitting..it was so bad." Her head fell into her hands.
In drowning waves, you could feel her sorrows as if they really were your own. Tears had no hesitation filling up your eyes. "Oh my...you radiate your emotions like no one I've ever met Emily. Why don't we try something new while we talk today yeah? Something that might help you feel a lot better?"
That day you had buried your hands deep into what used to be strands of blackness. Your eyes had focused on the way they were swallowed hold and you had a rush over pain hit you. So much you began to choke on a sob but had let the woman go on about everything she had gone through. At the end of the session she had smiled genuinely at you and thanked you before leaving.
"This case has hurt you, my love. I'm sure it's left the rest of your team also scarred. Tomorrow, you'll walk in with your head high and ready to catch another psycho." You planted a careful kiss to her hair line. But the moment your lips contacted her skin, you caught an entire tidal wave of fear. "My god, Emily...why didn't you call?" You snuggled in just a little closer.
"I thought I could handle it all.." She barely managed. Her hands slipped under your shirt finally. The warmth of your skin making her hum in content. They pushed you impossibly closer, her legs tangling into yours. You swore she was trying to become one with you.
There wasn't much to say after that. Emily had muffled her cries in your grey hoodie. You shared her feelings and began crying into her hair. Eventually you both succumbed to the comfort built in the covers. Falling into two heavy slumbers and never moving from the other.
By the morning, you had to peel yourself out of the tightest hold known to man. It made you smile naturally. Even when you looked down at Emily. The crease between her brow seemed to be a little less intense, brows a little more rested, and overall a little more at ease. You adored seeing her like this.
You began your morning. Quietly slipping through your morning routine. Like always, you went by unnoticed by the sleeping woman. By the time you had gotten to your final steps of accessorizing, Emily woke up.
Her hand patted against the mattress a few times before she groaned. "See? Always gone by the time I wake up.." She rolled onto her side, finding your eyes in the mirror. "You look beautiful."
You stood in one of your many skirts and one of her button ups. Gold jewelry Emily's given you had decorated your entire being. She always said she loved buying you pieces because you glowed a little more. You loved wearing them because Emily gave them to you and that meant you could talk about her on a daily. "Thank you dear, how are you feeling?" You finished putting on rings before sitting onto the bed. Fingers coming up to brush away strands of silver.
"Much better...thank you. Really, I'd be a mess without you." She placed a kiss into your palm, a warm smile spreading across her face. "How do you do it? Manage someone else's pain like that?"
You winked at her, "years of being an empath. We should grab dinner tonight. Something good needs to happen."
You didn't leave much room for an answer as you leaned in to kiss her goodbye. Giving her an extra for reassurance before hurrying out for the day. Keeping the idea of a nice dinner in mind for the whole day.
Too excited, you didn't even need to run home to freshen up. Along with too worried that Emily still might be feeling a bit of the last case. You hurried to the large building you've only ever driven up on. It was larger than your work building easily.
With a quick text, you were heading to grab a visitor pass and heading up to the sixth floor. Your hands flipped your phone a few times in your hands, the feeling of each floor seeming to sneak into the background of your own.
The silver doors pried apart and you saw the love of your life standing there already smiling. "Em," you softly hummed as you threw yourself into her arms. Feeling at ease to feel nothing but her happiness dance in step with your own. "Today seems much better?"
"I took your advice! I came back refreshed and ready to look at it all with a new perspective. And thanks to your brilliant advice, we ended up finding the guy. He'll be locked away for good." She seemed overjoyed to share the news with you. It was in her smile, the way it stretched from ear to ear. In the crinkles next to her eyes. In the way she held your hands, fingers intertwined tightly.
You lightly laughed, "it's amazing what taking an actually night of sleep will do for you, isn't it?" Your nose scrunched as you brought her hands to your lips, kissing her cool silver rings. "I'm glad you caught that psycho."
Her big brown eyes twinkled in awe at you, her cheeks warming slightly more, and her smile managing to grow even more. "You're amazing. Absolutely perfect and I love you so incredibly much." Emily's confession was quiet, only for your ears to hear.
It was your turn to blush and grow a wide grin. Although your return of a confession was cut off by the box hitting the floor. Both your heads whipped to see a bubbly blonde known as Penelope Garcia.
"As I live and breath...Penelope Garcia." You sounded out of breath to see the woman you've only heard wondrous things about. Emily had told you all about her team, a family you hadn't yet gotten the honor to meet yet. You couldn't help but leave from in front of your wife, eager as ever to really meet her. "Oh Emily has spoken so highly of you!" Your head whipped back, "She's so joyful!" You giggled to Emily before returning to the other.
Penelope seemed to be baffled by your sudden presence. Her eyes pasted you to her boss. "And who is this?" Confused eyes were now on you, taking in everything about you. Her eyes spotted the gold band on your ring finger, stacked on top of a stunning engagement ring. "Wife?!" She had practically shouted. "You're married?! And I was never aware of this beautiful lady why?!"
It wasn't long before the rest of the team had begun to appear. The giddiness you felt was like nothing before. Finally meeting the people that Emily had promised one day when the cases had simmered down said you could. You ended up backing closer to Emily and slipping your hand into hers.
Maybe being able to always read her emotionally was a powerful advantage. But when you not only felt her pulse drumming, but her confidence and own waves of serotonin was all it took for you to lightly fall into a fit of laughter.
Emily knew this reaction well enough to know she'd have to introduce you. "Everyone, this is my wife." She gestured to you briefly snd giving your name. "We're heading to dinner tonight, but hopefully one night soon we can do a dinner at our place. She's an amazing cook as well, Dave you'd be impressed. So...yeah! Have a goodnight you guys!" She pulled your laughing self in tow to grab all her bags before rushing you guys out.
Right as the doors closed, the team caught the way Emily looked at you. Her own fit of laughter began as well.
That was all the team was left with for the night. Their unit chief had been married and not a single one picked up on it. "That explains quite literally everything." Tara was the first to speak, everyone agreeing along.
After accidentally getting you worked up in the break room, Melissa spends a lot of time thinking about that moment, and how badly she wants to see it happen again.
warnings: poorly written smut, smut with no plot, ooc melissa (sorry), this was a request, pov switching, mentions of "good girl" and "my girl", 5k words (sorry again)
A/N: yeah i don't have much to say i'm just gonna put this here and run away i think. thank you @schemmentisimpasours for convincing me to share this. good luck yall!
Melissa Schemmenti was a lot of things. Driven, stubborn, passionate—all things that drew you to her. She was like a fire that never went out, one that kept you very warm.
Luckily, Melissa had also taken a liking to you. It was rare that the redhead wanted anything to do with newer teachers, but something about the way your eyes sparkled when she spoke to you made her want to stick around, especially after a year of you staying at Abbott.
It didn't take long for a friendship to bloom between the two of you, despite the questionable looks from others early on. After a while of you trailing Melissa around like a puppy and her guarding you like something fragile, your mutual friends stopped questioning it.
Before long, your natural flirty nature came to the surface, as did Melissa’s.
“Good morning, beautiful,” You smiled at the redhead who was already sitting on the couch in the break room.
“Hi hon, coffee is on the table,” Her eyes trailed to the mug sitting at her usual table, steam rising from it like she made a fresh pot just for you.
You suppressed the blush and butterflies, noticing that Melissa made your coffee in her mug today. Muttering a quiet “thank you,” you grabbed the coffee and moved to sit with the woman who always knew just how you liked your morning drink.
As soon as you relaxed on the couch next to Melissa, she not-so-subtly leaned in closer to you. This became normal for the two of you, always around each other, always using little pet names. Neither of you had to think about it, it just happened.
Most of the time, you were able to keep up the charade that this was casual, pretend like it didn't make your heart flutter every time Melissa called you honey and looked at you with adoration in her eyes.
Most of the time.
It was one thing when the redhead made little comments or used pet names, it was another when she started being affectionate. A lingering touch, a squeeze of your thigh under the table. It was always small, barely noticeable to others, but every time it made your skin heat up a bit. Once Melissa crossed that boundary with you, she didn't seem to want to stop. Almost as if she liked pushing these little buttons of yours.
“I can't figure out the new reading program,” You sighed out, frustrated, as you sat down at Melissa and Barbara’s table. It was still early, just a bit before the lunch break, so it was just you and the redhead in the staff room. For now.
“Yeah? That hard for you?” Melissa teased from behind you with a chuckle. It wasn't clear what she was doing, but you could hear movement.
Melissa’s hands rested on the table from behind you, her arms on either side of you practically trapping you in your seat. Her hair brushed against your shoulder and her perfume surrounded you, which was enough to momentarily fluster you. But she kept going.
Her lips were so close to your ear you could feel her breath warming up the skin. “I can teach you, but you'll have to be good and listen.”
Melissa pulled back just enough to turn her head slightly and look at you, waiting for a reaction. When she was met with your frozen and slightly shocked state, she kept talking.
“Can you do that, sweetheart?”
Your eyes shifted to meet hers, your wide-eye expression a stark contrast from her knowing one. The heat in your face was noticeable, if your inability to form a sentence wasn't enough.
“Yeah…Yes,” You tried to keep your composure, but Melissa could hear the whine and plea coming out in your cracked voice.
“Good…” She said lowly, pulling herself out of your space just in time before the door to the break room swung open.
Barbara was quick to join the table, conversing with Melissa effortlessly—who acted like she didn't just ignite something in you and walk away.
Like her words weren't echoing in your head.
Like you couldn't still smell her perfume.
Or feel her hot breath on your skin.
“Hey, you with us?” Melissa’s voice cut through your repetitive thoughts. She smirked at you just after snapping her fingers in your face, while Barbara looked more concerned.
“Hm? Yeah,” You nodded, mentally rejoining the group.
“Barb brought up a movie night, you in?” She repeated the question you didn't hear the first time.
Nodding slowly, you agreed to plans with the two of them this weekend, “Yeah, I'm down.”
The rest of your conversations were just as automatic and robotic as your response, your mind all too consumed by the woman who sat barely a foot away. Wrapped up in your own mind, you failed to notice the redhead keeping her eyes on you, her own mind running a thousand miles an hour.
Melissa didn't mean to get you so riled up, if she was being honest with herself, she didn't even think about it. She's gotten so used to the constant back and forth, the teasing seemed like nothing.
Until she saw how it caught your breath, how your eyes fluttered for a second and you looked at her so…submissively. It was then she realized the severity of her relentless pushing and pulling, and just how much she liked seeing you like that.
All day, the two of you thought of each other. It took all of your energy to focus on the tasks at hand while teaching, constantly fighting your foggy mind.
Every second Melissa wasn't speaking, her mind wandered back to that pitiful, needy look on your face. She wouldn't stop until she saw it again.
And again.
And again.
At home, it was even harder for Melissa to stop thinking about you, having nothing to distract herself with. Before the sun could set, she was laying in her bed with wandering hands while replaying that moment over and over.
The redhead surprised herself with how wet she grew thinking about that interaction, and the many other things it could lead to. She barely touched herself and it was a mess.
Melissa wasted no time in pleasuring herself, thinking only of your doe eyes and shaky voice. That raw, needy reaction—because of her.
A low, stuttered moan escaped her soft lips the moment she pushed her fingers into herself. The sensation from her slow pumps were making her face heat up. It wasn't long until her free hand was underneath her shirt, frantically teasing and pulling at her hard nipple.
All Melissa could think about was you, how badly she wanted—no, needed, to hear and see you falter like that. She wanted to tease you and push you until you couldn't take it anymore, begging her for something, anything.
Loud grunts and moans of your name filled her bedroom, her breath getting faster and faster just like the movement of her fingers. She was struggling to keep her eyes open, her mascara covered lashes fluttering inconsistently.
A familiar warmth grew within Melissa, so she kept pushing and pushing and thinking of your sweet voice calling her names and-
Her warm body tensed and twitched with a sudden release, a near silent moan escaping her. She was nearly shaking at this point. Out of breath, exhausted, and with a slight smile on her face, Melissa laid there. Thinking only of you.
Unbeknownst to her, you had a very similar night.
All night you were thinking about how close she was to you earlier, the smell of her perfume engulfing you, the heat of her breath on your ear. You spent what felt like hours wondering what other things she would say to you like that, how else she would love to tease and taunt you.
It wasn't until after you had finished pleasuring yourself to the idea of Melissa that you realized you had to look her in the face tomorrow.
The next morning at work, you avoided the break room before class started. Although, you didn't necessarily need to, because Melissa was doing the same.
Of course the rest of the staff noticed both of your absences, and while Barbara went to Melissa just before the bell, Janine came to you.
“Hey! Missed you this morning, everything okay?” Janine announced her presence in your room, cheerful as always. Your head popped up at the sound of her voice and returned her bright smile.
“Yeah, I'm okay. Just trying to get some extra work done. I'll see you at lunch?” You offered. It was easy to act like everything was normal, because it was. As long as Melissa wasn't there.
Happy with your answer, Janine nodded and bid a quick goodbye just before the students started arriving. Per usual, you opened the classroom door and stood outside to greet each and every one of your students.
Feeling eyes on you from across the hall, you looked up to see Melissa watching you. As soon as your eyes met, she smirked, before returning her attention to her own students entering.
You just blinked a few times in response, before eventually coming back down to earth and engaging with the kids. Today was going to be rough.
The morning was…weird. You knew you were going to see Melissa at lunch, and the knowledge made you nervous. Anxious, almost. The time somehow went by too quickly and too slow for your liking, but eventually, it was break time.
With a deep breath, you confidently walked into the break room and beelined to the fridge to grab your lunch. Most days, you'd sit with Melissa and Barbara at their shared table, but with how nervous you were already feeling, it didn't seem like the best idea.
Walking towards the other table in the room, the redhead’s voice stopped you. “What are you doing?”
Back stiffening, you turn and finally face Melissa. Heat immediately pools in your stomach upon making eye contact, your not-so-friendly thoughts from last night coming back again. You forgot she asked you a question, until she raised her eyebrows at you and you stuttered through some sort of excuse as to why you weren't sitting with her like usual.
Before you could finish your (pathetic) sentence, she pointed to the seat next to her and commanded, “Sit.”
It was like your body made the decision on its own, ignoring the alarms in your head as you walked over to her, taking a seat where she asked.
“Good girl,” She mumbled, just loud enough for you to hear.
You crossed your legs.
Lunch was a blur, you missed every single conversation around you, too focused on Melissa besides you. Every once in a while her eyes flickered over to you, checking on you. Watching, more like. Whenever she laughed her hand would fall to your arm or thigh, lingering just a second longer than needed.
What sick game is she playing?
Hearing your name caught your attention, and Barbara gently reminded you of your plans later tonight for the movies.
“Oh! Right, I can host, do we wanna do, like, seven?” You asked her and Melissa. They agreed, but the two of them had very different expressions. Melissa was…well you weren't entirely sure. She was looking at you with such intensity and the slightest smirk on her face. While Barbara looked almost excited? Like she was excited about something else you didn't know about.
Nonetheless, you all confirmed plans just before the bell, and went to your respective rooms to finish out the work day.
As soon as your last student went home from the day, you rushed home to get the place ready for your friends. Yes, there was still some work to be done, but making sure everything would be perfect for Barbara and Melissa was more important at the moment.
Luckily your apartment was already pretty clean, it just needed some small adjustments and extra blankets and pillows. In the middle of setting things up, you heard your phone buzz.
Barbara Howard
I don't think I can make it to our movie night. Started not feeling well and need some rest. Sorry, dear.
You stared at the screen for a moment before responding with care, feeling momentarily worried for her and her sudden illness.
Until you remembered who else was supposed to come tonight. It was now just going to be you and Melissa, alone in your apartment on a Friday night with a bottle of wine.
You debated on whether or not to text Melissa and let her know, but decided against it. Assuming Barbara has already let her friend know, you continued making sure everything was ready before settling on the couch for a little bit of alone time.
Just a couple minutes past seven o’clock, there was a knock at your door. The sound immediately made you nervous, this was it. You gave yourself an internal pep talk the entire way to the door, before opening it to greet Melissa.
“Hi,” You said quietly, looking at her up and down briefly before smiling shyly.
“Hey you,” Melissa replied affectionately and walked past you to get inside. “Barb’s not here yet?” She asked a bit surprised, turning to face you.
“She didn't tell you? She had to cancel tonight, said she's not feeling good,” You answered, making your way to the couch. Sitting on the smaller loveseat, you expected Melissa to take the actual couch, but instead, she joined you.
“No, she didn't,” Melissa scoffed. She leaned back in her spot, pushing her thigh against your exposed one. “Guess it's just you and me tonight, baby,” She teased, looking at you with that same smirk that made you so frustrated.
You huffed playfully in response, unable to think of anything to say. You avoided her gaze like you have been the past couple of days, trying (and failing) to hide the pink hue on your face and the warmth in your chest.
“Why do you keep doing that?” Melissa asked curiously.
“Doing what?” Answering her question with your own, eyes flashing to hers for just a second before returning to the tv that has yet to be turned on.
“Look at me when I'm speaking to you,” She told you, voice lower than it was before. Her thigh pushed against yours, trying to get your attention.
As soon as you faced her, she spoke again. “That's my girl. Don't shy away from me.”
Your cheeks were undeniably red at this point, and you couldn't help but blink at her repeatedly as you tried to say something, anything.
“You think I don't wanna see you? See how cute it is when I make you all nervous?” She continued to tease since you weren't speaking.
“You don't make me nervous,” You lied.
Melissa either didn't like what you said, or really liked what you said. It was hard to tell at first, the way her eyebrow cocked and her expression hardened.
“Really? Not at all?” She asked flatly, leaning in closer to you.
“Not even the other day?” Melissa brought up what started this whole thing. Mimicking her position in the past and locking you in place, she firmly placed her hand on the arm rest behind you, leaving no room for movement.
“I-I don't know what you’re talking about,” You tried scooting back, but there was nowhere to go. Leaving you squirming in place practically underneath Melissa.
“You're a bad liar, hon.” She replied with a wicked smile on her face. Leaning in even closer, chests almost touching, she asked again. “Do I make you nervous?”
“Melissa-” You sighed out before you could stop yourself, face heating up even more. Green eyes fell down to your chest, watching the quick rise and fall for a moment before making eye contact again.
“God, you sound pretty saying my name like that,” Melissa praised. She noticed your eyes fall to her very close lips as she spoke, and it was all the push she needed to close the distance.
A surprised whine got caught in your throat as soon as you felt her lips against your own, melting into her touch. Melissa was about to pull back, unsure if you wanted this to keep going, but your hand on the back of her neck stopped her quickly.
You could feel her start to smile before she focused more on making you feel good. She kissed you like it was what she was meant to do, her tongue licking and her lips sucking exactly how you needed her to.
Her hands wasted no time finding places to touch, finding out where you liked her fingers the most. When her fingernails dug into your hip possessively you moaned into her mouth. Melissa groaned in response and it was then that she decided that was her favorite sound to hear.
She quickly kissed your lips a few times before making her way down the side of your jaw and eventually to your neck. You felt her hand push on your stomach slightly, urging you to lean back. Of course, you obeyed.
“Are you always such a good girl, or just for me? Hm?” Melissa asked lowly, her breath hot on your ear once again before she nipped your earlobe. You whimpered slightly, hips jolting against her.
“I asked you a question, sweetheart,” She reminded you, but there was a warning in her tone.
“I…Only for you,” You admitted, and there was a weight to your words that both of you understood. Melissa smiled, genuinely smiled, at your answer. Only for a second though, and then her lips and tongue were back to your neck.
The sensation surprised you, earning Melissa a quiet moan from you. She wanted to hear more, she wanted to hear absolutely filthy things fall from your mouth. And she wanted it now.
“Where's your bedroom?” She asked, pulling up from you slightly. Your eyes widened slightly at her sudden question, but eagerly you started to get up to lead her where she wanted.
Melissa stayed close behind, one hand holding onto yours and the other trailing her nails up and down your spine. As soon as you were inside your room, her hand on your back gently pushed you towards the bed, leaving no room for hesitation.
The two of you fell into bed, immediately kissing each other again. Melissa laid you down as she distracted you with her tongue, her hand resting on your hip while yours were dragging and pulling all over her.
“Easy, baby. I'm not going anywhere,” She chuckled at your eagerness. “And I wanna hear you beg for me.”
You couldn't respond before she was kissing and biting your neck again, leaving marks that would certainly still be there on Monday. Every time she bit a little harder you were gasping underneath her, getting more and more flustered by the second. Her hands made their way under your shirt, gently scratching at your stomach.
“Mel, please,” Your voice was quiet and breathless. Close to what Melissa wanted, but not quite.
“Please what, baby? Tell me what you want,” She coaxed. Lifting her head up slightly to meet your gaze, her eyes were dark and hungry. Your stomach dropped when you locked eyes, and in that moment you realized how badly Melissa wanted this. Wanted you.
Before you could answer, the redhead snuck her thigh in between yours and gave it a gentle push. A surprised gasp left your lips and Melissa was obsessed with the feeling of your thighs squeezing around her.
As quickly as Melissa made you feel good, she took it away, pulling her thigh away from you and making you chase her.
“You know I don't like asking questions twice,” She said, her voice sharper than before. Her grip on your waist was so tight, part of you worried she might draw blood if she doesn't ease up. But you didn't care, you'd let her if she wanted.
Your hands made their way into her hair, tugging softly as you pulled her closer and more flush against your own body. “I want you, I want to feel you, make me feel good, please,” You begged between kisses.
She smirked upon hearing your words, happy to hear what she had been waiting for, waiting for a lot longer than she’d like to admit. Melissa leans in close, giving you a gentle, almost loving kiss before pulling back barely an inch.
“I got you, baby,” She mutters, her breath hot against your own lips. The warmth of her body makes you feel hot, the feeling only increasing as she continues her work kissing down your jaw and throat.
Melissa uses the position she’s in to her advantage. Her thigh that was previously between yours resumes its position, although this time she gently pushes your legs apart. You felt so vulnerable, but there’s nobody else you trusted more.
While one hand kept her propped up on top of you, her other started drawing circles on your inner exposed thigh painfully slow. You could feel her kisses start to get messier, she was just as ready as you were for this. The little whimpers and squirms you were making were out of your control at this point, but neither of you minded.
“God, you sound so pretty,” Melissa praised lowly. “All worked up just for me? Huh, baby?”
You bit your lip, subconsciously arching up to be closer to the woman. Not wanting to keep her waiting, you stuttered through a response. “Y-yes, yes its all for you,” You answer.
Melissa was happy with the responses she was getting. From your whiny voice and ragged breaths, she was more than pleased with how you were reacting to her touch. She also didn’t want to keep you waiting, so she finally moved her thumb from your thigh to where you needed her most.
A pitiful whine left your lips as soon as she circled softly over your clothed center, and her own face started heating up at what she was pulling out of you. As she continued her gentle touches, she moved closer to give you another kiss, even if you couldn’t match her intensity right now.
“This is exactly how I wanted you,” She muttered, so quiet it took you a second to register what she had just said.
”W-what?” you asked, just before another quiet moan escaped. It was hard to focus on what she was saying while she was touching you so…affectionately.
She kissed you again, hungrier this time. “You…You’re so cute like this…so needy and…desperate for me…” She breathed out between kisses, her words falling on your lips. “I've thought about something like this so many times…”
She increased the pressure with her thumb just enough to have you whining again, especially after admitting what she just did. You felt on top of the world and out of body all at the same time. Because of Melissa. For Melissa.
“Fuck…Mel please, I need you I need you so bad, please,” You begged, the words rambling out as you desperately ached for more of her touch. It was pathetic, but you didn’t care.
“Okay sweet girl, since you asked so nicely,” She replied, voice dripping with a dangerous sweetness. She sat up just a bit, enough to look at you. She took in the beautiful sight of you panting and begging underneath her, a moment she would never forget. A smirk danced across her face as she moved to take your shorts off, tossing them to the side absentmindedly before pulling your underwear off painfully slow. Those, she knew exactly where to put—in the pocket of her sweatpants, just a reminder of tonight.
“So pretty,” she murmured, and dragged a finger slowly between your folds. Both of you moaned at the contact. She felt so good, and so did you.
“Fuck…Melissa,” You whined again at the contact, hips pushing up towards her. She drew figure eights around your entrance, gathering as much of your wetness as she possibly could. It felt insane, she was going to be the death of you. Maybe nobody you have been with was that skilled, or maybe its because it was Melissa, but nobody had ever made you feel this good from almost nothing.
“You’re being so good baby, so good for me,” She cooed before taking her finger away and sliding it into her mouth. You watched as she meticulously cleaned herself, a moment of pleasure flashing across her face as she tasted you.
“You taste even better,” Melissa continued her compliments, voice low and possessive. She gave you one more kiss before moving down your body, leaving a trail of hot kisses and nips as she went. She took her thighs in your hands, wrapping her arms around them to put them over her shoulders and keep you in place and open for her. She placed a gentle kiss on your clit, earning her another high pitched whine from you.
“Baby…” You moaned, hands falling to the sheets to keep you grounded.
“I know, I know,” She cooed, and dragged her tongue from your entrance up to your clit. She moaned against you, into you, the vibrations sending chills down your spine. She resumed her figure eight motions from earlier, the sensation much more intense coming from her warm tongue. Every time you moaned, you could feel her doing the same right after, both of you so lost in each other.
You watched as her red hair fell down her face as she started working faster, her tongue and lips attaching themselves to your clit once more. One of your hands left the sheets, instead finding a place in Melissa’s hair, keeping it out of her way and tugging on it gently.
“Oh my god…Fuck, Melissa,” You whined and moaned out to her as she continued pushing you closer to the edge. You felt her sneak a finger inside of you as well, and a much higher, almost squeal left your body at the feeling.
“So good baby,” She said before bringing her lips to you again, her finger slowly pushing in and out as she worked you up. It wasn’t long until she added another, curling them to hit that perfect spot that made you try to squeeze your legs around her head.
You could feel a hot pressure building up in your lower abdomen the more she touched and kissed, it was almost too much—almost.
“Mel- Baby, I-I’m…” You tried to get the words out through stuttering breaths, but you didn’t need to tell her. She could feel you clenching around her fingers, and she’d be lying if she said she didn’t love it. If her mouth wasn’t busy giving you affection, she’d be talking you through it. The look in her eyes told you that much. She groaned against you once more, holding eye contact as your jaw fell open.
The pressure burst in an instance as you came undone for Melissa, legs shaking around her as she pushed you through your orgasm. A string of moans and curses fell from your lips, your hand in her hair pulling tightly as you fell over the edge.
Once she felt your body finish and start trying to relax, Melissa slowly pulled her fingers from you, gently cleaning you up with her tongue. It was so soft you almost didn’t feel it. Might not have if you weren’t so sensitive from just a second ago.
“That’s my girl,” She said softly as she made her way back up to you. You laid back, eyes shut as you tried to catch your breath. Her words made your cheeks heat up though, despite barely hearing them. You felt her lips on yours again, but she was much slower and more gentle this time. It was a kiss of affection, not hunger.
“You did so good for me sweetheart,” She mumbled praises as she continued giving you sweet kisses. Your arms wrapped around her and she pulled you against her, letting you roll onto your side and lean against her. Burying your head in her neck, she matched the gesture with a couple kisses to your head, holding you close against her. You hummed in satisfaction, exhaustion taking over.
“Mm, so did you,” You told her sleepily. She could tell she wore you out and she couldn’t blame you after all the relentless teasing she’s been putting you through. With another kiss to the crown of your head, she laid you down before getting up out of the bed.
You shot up instantly, worried she was about to leave you after all this. Melissa could see the concerned expression on your face and eased your ideas. “I’ll be right back honey, I’m just going to get you water,” She said, and left the room with a soft smile. Sighing peacefully, you laid back down and waited for her.
You must’ve started falling asleep despite it being so early, because suddenly you felt Melissa back in bed, pulling your small shirt off your frame to replace it with a more comfortable pajama shirt, the water forgotten about on the nightstand. She pulled you back into her arms, letting you lay against her warm body. You relaxed almost instantly and so did she, the two of you wrapped around each other perfectly. It didn’t take long for sleep to take over, Melissa’s soft voice giving you praises like a lullaby as you drifted off in her arms.
If I had a nickel for every time, an older lesbian mentor character who I have a crush on dies protecting their not straight supernatural mentee, and then comes back as a ghost/spirit, I’d have two nickels which is a lot, but it’s weird that it happened more than once
summary: its senior year and the last year to finally throw the biggest parties. Only this year you're not backing down from getting the girl of your dreams.
Warnings- language, drinking, teenage angst
Masterlist
The senior summer party. Took place at your family's lake house. Every year. Tradition. It's a party at the start and end of senior year.
So when it got close, rumors buzzed about who you weren't inviting. Yet, nobody but you had for sure knew. Most claiming that you wouldn't invite Morticia Addams, and she would stare daggers at you everyday.
You're sure if she could she'd have real ones in no time. Each time you caught her you would give her a sly smirk just to irritate her. Sometimes flirting just for the fun of it.
The day for invites got closer and closer. They had no idea how you were going to deliver them. Nobody wanted to either. Loving the suspense it brings.
Every single step you took you could hear your name.
It followed you till you were at your dorm. The feeling of eyes making you turn. There was Morticia and her roommate.
Larissa Weems. The one you were absolutely smitten by every time. The way she was so elegant. Her competitive side showing during the Poe Cup every year since you could remember. You watched her every year. Not in some creepy way! But in an observer type of way.
Your eyes skipped the ravenette all together and to her roommate. Taking in the soft smile on her face at how you were just recognizing her existence. You knew she felt as if she was living in Morticia's shadow. You saw it every time they were together. But you always knew she was there.
You wanted to invite her into the conversation, but anytime you tried Morticia would take your time to speak before you could get out a single noise.
Snapping back to reality, you rushed into your room. Hoping it wasn't as much time of you spacing out as you think. And when you looked in your mirror you knew it was, your cheeks were burning red.
You daydreamed too close to the sun, and now your all burned.
While trying to calm yourself, there was a knock on the door. You called for them to enter, not thinking who was obviously walking in. Coming out your bathroom, you were stunned to see the pair standing in the middle of your room. "Larissa, Tish, what can I do for you?" You hummed. Trying to ignore that your cheeks were fuming again.
"I just wanted to talk about the party!" Tish spun you and sat in your desk chair. "You have invited me right? I mean invitations are coming out but I figured I should know early?" She flashed that smile. The one that has everyone wrapped around her finger.
You casually shrug, finding something to busy your hands with. "Yeah, I know, but everyone is gonna find out when they will. Its rules nobody knows until the day. No exceptions!" You flashed your bright teeth.
"Oh, but for me? Pretty please?" She batted her lashes. You furrowed your brows at her. Trying to figure out what she was doing.
"Are....Are you trying to flirt the answer out of me or something?" You said out loud. Getting a small chuckle from the roommate and Morticia blushing in her spot. "...that was a little crazy you did that. But no matter what, the answer is coming out of me. Also, I'm flattered, but you're just not my type either." You put you sweatshirts away. You were packing you overnight bag.
"You better not do something you'll regret." She glared at you. You laughed at it internally but smiled to her.
"I should finish packing, you as well." You hummed. Gesturing to the door. "Big night coming soon." You gave a small hint. But you weren't looking at Tish, you were speaking to Larissa. And the room knew it.
The two fled your room. Larissa shocked you even would talk to her. Morticia sat her down and the two talked about what just happened.
"What?! Have you been flirting with them?!" The shorter was quick to throw out. "I mean why would she say anything to you when I am right there?"
Larissa, still trying to sort her head out, just stared dazed while the roommate ranted.

The few days had passed, leaving you in class on a Wednesday. Still no announcement about the party yet. Until the last bell.
Right before it rang, a school text got sent out.
Friday, 3:33 am.
Was all it stated. Curiosity erupted from the students around you, eyes training on you. Yet you could only stare at the blonde who sat on the other side of the room.
Watching intently as a frown dawned on her face. Her phone didn't go off like everyone else's. She searched for you, finding your eyes already on her.
Your face rested. Lacking any clue to what you were thinking. Her face caught a hint of color once the bell rang and brought you both back.
Oddly, neither of you moved from your seats. That wasn't until the class was empty. You made the move. Walking up to stand in front of her desk and look down at her.
Staring into her blue eyes and getting lost instantly. "Larissa." You hummed. Saying it differently from how you have in the past years. "You looked a bit sad?"
"Whatever joke you think your about to play on me, I won't be having any of it." She bit back. Standing up to her full height and now looking down at you. "Truly, find someone else."
You smiled at her, before shamelessly letting your eyes roam. Snapping them back up, looking innocently through your lashes. There was that blush again. "I wanted to give you a more special invitation. Cause that's what you deserve. Not the same one everyone is getting on Friday."
"What are you saying?" Larissa furrowed her brows. Drowning more confused when you beckoned her with a single finger. Yet, she followed you as you walked out the classroom. Not paying attention to the curious eyes of your classmates as she followed you.
Whispers of her being your lost puppy finally found hit your ears and you could only smile wider at the thought. Having such a woman begging for you? Now you could get used to such a thing.
You lead her to her own room, pushing open the door for her. She stared inside, but when she went to turn and ask you, you were gone.
On her bed sat a variety of things. A fancy envelope, one with a wax seal, a rose, and bag from the store in town. Her heart pounded in her chest and she couldn't figure out the right words to describe what she felt. There were too many but not a single one sounded right. Charmed? Flattered? Loved? Adored?
~~
Friday night had dawned and you were already at the lake house. Waiting for people to arrive one by one. Thankful for when a huge group of your friends and theirs showed up at once, meaning it wouldn't be weird. It wasn't long before the party really commenced. And by ten you were in the truth or dare game.
"Y/n. Truth or dare?" Morticia asked you with a mischievous grin.
"Truth." You held a steady tone. Happy you had a strong tolerance for how much you already had drank.
"Out of everyone here, who would you fuck first?" She had expected her name to come out first. That she was the one you wanted.
Morticia was a woman of wanting to be better than Larissa. And with you being one Larissa talked about and wrote about, she saw it as an advantage. It was a competition that was unfair from the very beginning.
You thought. Eyes jumping around the entire house. Landing on the tall, statuesque woman. A smile tugging at your lips. "I'll give you more than my truth. If I'm going into this year right and how I planned, I'm marrying Larissa Weems before we're 21." You couldn't tear your eyes away. Staring with hearts as she was in a group of friends.
"WHAT?!" Morticia shouted over the music. The whole party turning to look at the game, some snickering at the outburst while others tried to tune in.
"Hear me out! What's not to like about her? She's got height, soft eyes that hold so much authority when needed, her hair looks perfect daily, the style, the humor, how she has a real laugh that only comes out when she gets told a really funny joke, and then the small smile she'll give when standing next to you." You were rambling. Someone needed to stop you. "But I think what makes me want to like...fuck her is the fact that she's a woman, and I love me a woman. But she's a whole lot of woman, and I would do anything for that much woman! And I stand by my opinion with a wide grin."
"So then you should say something. You basically have her wrapped around your finger." A friend, Jade, had put out. A knowing smirk on her lips, she knew you couldn't back down from anything with alcohol in you.
You hummed over the idea. Shrugging at what the harm could be. You were just a bit drunk, and you were conscious of that fact. But it didn't stop you from leaving the group, and a frustrated Morticia. You made your way through people, never breaking focus on the target.
People suddenly went quiet once you were in front of her. Cameras were being pulled out as you just stood there, waiting for her to realize you were there.
She was talking with a few friends, and was smiling naturally with each word. Her eyes were fixated on her drink and how the ice swirled when she moved the straw.
You always were more bold with alcohol. It's how your finger slid under her chin to make her look up at you. "Hi beautiful" You smiled at her. Beaming your most honest smile at the sight of her.
Larissa was burning at the nickname. She mumbled out your name. Afraid to break the moment that was suddenly just you two.
"You're so pretty, did you know that? Especially wearing the dress I left for you. I knew you'd look good in it. When I saw it, I couldn't stop thinking about you in it, and even after tonight I probably won't stop. You're so captivating Larissa." You leaned on the table, getting closer to her. The smell of the drinks you had hitting her nose.
"You've drank. I don't think you should say things that only hurt others." She wanted to look away, getting ready to turn her head.
But you grabbed a hold of her face a bit more firmly. Narrowing your eyes at her. "You think I left everyone a gift?" You frowned on your words. You went closer, nose's touching. "You're the only one who has my attention Weems." You whispered, lips brushing against hers.
You pulled away and floated off. Rejoining the circle and resuming the party. Everyone went with it too.
By midnight everyone was out on the lakes edge. Stripping from their attire and into bathing suits. Everyone followed, but you lingered. Larissa stood away from it all. Watching as people carelessly got in. Not wanting to do the activity, afraid of what everyone would think.
"Rissa," you broke into her thoughts. Sneaking up on her, you watched the conflict in her eyes. "You shouldn't care what they all think. You're easily the hottest woman here." You complimented her with so much honesty.
She blushed looking down, "not everyone is as kind as you." She stared off, but not for long as you came in front of here. Grabbing her hand and pulling her down to everyone. She didn't like where you were going with this. "Truly I'm ok up here."
"It's your last year. You are a sexy creature and hiding it is so lame now and days. We're all weird here. And it sounds cheesy, but literally none of us are normal. You can literally turn into anyone, but you stay you. Because you're more than enough. You're Larissa fucking Weems. Act like it."
There was a wide smirk on you face as you lifted off your top. Revealing the top that hugged your body in ways that should be illegal. And soon your bottoms were off.
You grabbed the hem of her shirt. "Just keep looking at me," you nodded slowly. Waiting patiently as she took off the top. Larissa wore a white, angelic two piece. You couldn't help the need to look. And when you got back to her eyes she was blushing heavily.
She was stunning.
You didn't think twice before you were pulling her head down to you and crashing your lips. It was fierce. It was heated. It was long overdue.
Pulling away, your breathing was erratic and Larissa's chest was matching her face. You grinned like the Cheshire Cat. And then you ran off.
Leaving your woman baffled, appalled even, by the action. She turned to find you, seeing you in the water staring. Water dripping from your body as you could only smile when she complied and got in with you.
The rest of the night was history.
~~
Monday came along and everyone hummed and buzzed about the party. Videos were finally being shared, along with pictures.
The video you stared at was the one of you and Larissa. You were observing every detail. Thankful for the music that played over your talking.
You eyes only left the screen the moment the young woman walked in. You eyed her cautiously, not wanting to be coming off too strong. She took her seat and pulled out all her work. Never once looking in your direction and it made you worry you did too much now. You had kissed her that night. Did she think it was truly just the alcohol speaking?
Not getting the chance to get your answer as your teacher walked in. A knowing smile on his face at how tired everyone was.
That class flew by though, everyone rushing to leave so they could take a nap or anything.
You lingered around, waiting to see what your blonde would do. Would she leave and not say a word? Or would she approach you finally?
Larissa could feel you staring at her the entire class period. It made her stomach twist. She truly wanted to believe you had forgotten and that it was the alcohol, but she couldn't forget. She had only a single drink and shot. But who knows how many you had...
"Ladies?" Your teacher broke into both your thoughts. "Is everything alright?"
Larissa glanced at you, a small frown tugging at her lips. You were staring at her and waiting for her. "Yes, sorry. Just got lost in the work I guess." She dismissed, packing in a frantic manner.
You'd never seen her so disheveled. He called to you. Making you finally tear your eyes away from her and to your desk. Your empty notes laid in front of you. "Your notes are empty."
"I was...distracted I guess. More than usual." Your voice was quiet. Tired even. "Is there anyway I can stay and get them from you, sir?"
"I wish I could, but I have meetings in five. Ms. Weems, could you lend your notes?" He turned to her, putting her in the spotlight.
You saw how she hesitated. "It's ok, I can get them from someone else. I don't want to impose or anything. Thank you though," you rushed out the room.
Cheeks slightly flushing as tears threatened you. In your eyes, you had fucked everything up. Why did you have to be so bold? You could've gone all year quiet like you did for the past few. She wouldn't even look at you!
You opened your door, thankful your roommate transferred out. Carefully setting your things down, you wanted to change out of the suffocating uniform. Out of the reminder that you go to this school. That you're a real person. That you messed up the one thing you had going. All because of this damn uniform and school and all its brought you.
You were getting frustrated when your hands were shaking so bad you couldn't undo the buttons. The knock at your door interrupting you.
You let out a frustrated groan and swung open the door. Wiping your face aggressively of the heated tears before anyone could get a good look at you. You didn't bother seeing who it was as you walked away and tried at the buttons one more time. Seriously ready to rip the white shirt off your body.
"Let me help you," a soft British voice came. You wanted to cry even harder. You turned and dropped your hands, looking at the wall next to you instead of her. Trying to ignore the rush of excitement as she unbuttoned one at a time, now was really not the time.
Once it was done, you stood there. Open shirt. You could see a hint of your scar in the mirror by the door. Her eyes on it finally making your mind swarm with embarrassment. Nobody's ever seen it.
You took pride in your witches scar. You got it in one of your crazy childish rituals you used to do. But it was from the one time you had succeeded and found out you were a witch. Your parents were ready to hide it forever, if they could, but you embraced it with open arms. It made your grandmother proud to know that being a witch wasn't gone forever in the family.
You stepped back, then to change. Grabbing a graphic crewneck and a pair of shorts, you swiftly changed. Ignoring the fact Larissa was still in your room, staring at you.
Your shirt was on the floor in a pile with your skirt, leaving you in nothing but undergarments. "Can we talk?" She whispered into the air. Yet somehow, her words were tickled your neck as if she was directly behind you.
You turned to face her, eyes slightly red from the few tears of earlier. Your voice got stuck and suddenly you couldn't say a single thing.
She moved to sit in your bed's edge, your name rolling from her tongue the same way a brush moves on a canvas. It was art coming from her. "How much did you drink that night?"
You walked closer to her, taking the spot next to her and leaving a little gap. "I had only a few. I wanted to stay as close to tipsy until everyone was there. But truth or dare happened...and I just...." you stared with glossy eyes up at her. The silence built quick and thick, only to be cut with a heavy sigh. "Larissa, and I mean this with so much respect, but you're literally the most oblivious person I've ever flirted with!" You frowned, suddenly back on your feet.
You were across from her now. Standing and looking for her eyes. "Do you genuinely think you're unlikeable in that way?" Your words were soft. You had heard whispers about her always ignoring them when they weren't true. You refused to believe they were.
"I....what?" She hesitated. "Where did you hear that? Not! That its true or anything!" She shot down quickly. Her voice giving her away in a heart beat.
With a sense of boldness, you walked over to her and kissed her hard. Melting at the feeling of her lips against yours. For the first seconds, there was no kiss back, but once it registered, she pulled you onto her. Hands clawing at your hips as the heated kiss went on.
Your hips were grinding on their own as your breathing started to become irregular. Air became a need and you had to pull away. Panting in her lap as she held onto you tighter. "Does that prove I mean it?" You exhaled. "Cause all I want is you. You're the first person I look for in the halls. The first person I speak to. I. Want. You."
She kissed you hard again. Wrapping her arms under your sweatshirt and around your bare waist and pulling your hips to hers. You sat flushed against her. The heat of your bodies together growing and growing by each passing second.
Your hands held her shoulders as a grounding. Desperate to feel grounded to remember this high. But this wasn't how you wanted this. So you stopped. Lightly pushing her shoulders to separate you from her.
"I want you, I do, but not in this order. I want the first date with you and a little goodnight kiss. Not just jumping to sex, I want more than that." You began explaining. Trying to keep it as simple as possible without dumping all your feelings on her.
Her brows pulled together though, she wasn't getting it fully. "You want a relationship?"
You could only look sorry for her. That someone out there made her only feel wanted for one thing. And whoever it was, you would curse for the rest of your years.
"I want dates at the cafe, sleepovers, movie nights, kissing in the rain, dancing in the rain, dinners, anniversaries, holidays, breaks, everything. Larissa Weems, you have done nothing but occupy my every waking thought since freshman year. If you told me you never wanted to have sex with me, I'd be fine. I'm here for you. Your brains. Your heart. Your future." You hold her face in your hands. Searching for anything that could give her reaction.
But you were met with her hurrying her face into your chest and crying. It wasn't what you expected, but you still planned for it. After all, you've thought of this moment for years.
You held her close and just sat with her. Letting her just cry into your sweatshirt. Holding her close to you and slightly rocking with her. Soft reassurance fell from your lips every now and then.
Eventually, Larissa had drained herself and fell asleep with you. It warmed your heart to know she felt safe to cry and sleep around you, but also she cried...all because she couldn't believe the bare minimum.
You would have to save any more questions for tomorrow. Now it was a matter of getting her ready for sleeping. Which you really did expect to be tough, but once you shifted slightly, she was up again. Well...kinda up.
She grumbled and held you tighter. "Rissa...I just wanted to lay down that's all..." you tried to not be too loud. Hoping she understood what you were going on about. It was then she, almost on autopilot, stood up while holding your by the ass. Only to lay back down with you still in her arms.
You were blushing profusely at the hand placement and tried to steady yourself. "Your heart is beating so loud..." Larissa hummed. Her eyes still closed as she laid with you. Her hold was all you needed to know you weren't going anywhere.
You took a deep breath, finally giving in and getting impossibly closer. "I can't help it." We're the last spoken words before you both fell asleep.
~
Senior smash was right there and you found yourself in the same spot as the beginning. Walking through the halls with your name following you with every step.
You convinced yourself it was because of the invites that were supposed to be sent out today and not the mysterious box that you carried atop of your books. The one that was all black with a silver heart lock, on the back hidden from the view of everyone else were initials.
As you stepped into study hall, you smiled at your eager peers, the ones who have heard the tiny details you've let up about the party this year. Only you didn't say anything to feed their hunger. Instead you found your seat and cracked open your book. Trying to not let the box distract you. Nor the beauty that waltzed in with a cunning smile.
Ever since you and Larissa had gotten around the bush, you've watched how your love has changed her for the better. She no longer hides in Morticia's shadow, never lets anyone command her, she commands them. Her blue eyes never had to ask you for your attention anymore, you willingly showered her with it. To most it seemed you were the lost puppy now with how you blushed anytime she came around. You'd turn beet red anytime she placed a kiss to the top of your head. People would watch you stand in awe even after she turned the corner.
"Hello darling," she greeted lowly once she got closer to you. She was using her seductive voice on you and you knew what it was about. You hadn't even given your own girlfriend special privileges (maybe a little more details than your peers). What was unusual though was how she knelt in-front of your desk, resting her head on the dark wood.
"Aren't you supposed to be at mammal anatomy?" You began playing with her bangs. Trying not to dwell on the fact she was on her knees before you, it wasn't in that way but you couldn't help the idea of it.
"I was just on my way and thought I'd stop by. Rumor is you have a mysterious box?" She quirked a brow and glanced up at you. Then towards the black box. "This it?"
You got protective and tried to causally grab the object before her. "It's for something later..which reminds me, can we push our date back just by an hour? I have something important to do before."
"And what could it be?" She grew curious about your sudden mystery. Larissa had met many sides of you, the mystery one being one she saw trouble in constantly.
You pulled the box into you and hugged it close. "Witchcraft." You had a sparkle in your eye that was only proving her right. You were up to trouble. "You should get going, Rissa. I wouldn't want your pretty self to be caught in detention before a big night." You winked at her before offering a hand to help her up.
She took it with a huff and stood, but right before she let go she felt the warmth of your lips press to her knuckles. Larissa swore her heart stopped at the simple gesture.
The rest of the day went smoothly. Classes were just a few notes, and lunch was your favorite again. By three, phones were dinging with the first tease of invites. You were in the dining hall when it happened. Eyes focusing on the many eyes that grew eager and glanced to you. But once again, you were immersed in a book. Something you had taken up more recently.
However with the prying eyes you couldn't seem to focus. So you packed up and read on your way to your room. Weaving through everyone without an issue. You figured you'd read until the sun went down, then go do your ritual at sundown in the woods.
It was nothing dark, it was an enchantment you heard word of. It brings good luck for relationships if both parties are willing for it. The success rate is still unreported but you figured there couldn't be anything too big at stake. You had planned to do it and then propose it to Larissa. If she accepted it then the universe would listen to the calls for sure and bless them for a long healthy relationship. It made you nervous to think of no matter what though.
You had spent every night since the first praying to the stars above that it would be right with her. You vowed your entire heart to her on many starry nights. Larissa Weems was the woman you wanted to marry and grow forever with.
The worries were squashed though once you hit your room. Larissa was already inside and laying in your bed. "No special invite this time?"
"It's not done...but I could give you an invite to hold the spot." You wiggled your brows as you joined her on the mattress. Laying on your stomach as she laid on her side and propped up by her arm. You couldn't help the love that slipped into your gaze. "Are you nervous I won't invite you?"
"Maybe, or maybe I'm nervous you don't think I'm special anymore." She joked so easily about it. The small creases near her eyes were the sign she really did mean it as a joke. That she knew how wrong such a statement about you was.
"I love you." You whispered. Completely out of breath. You felt like you were floating suddenly. That your body was weightless.
Larissa had stopped smiling however, sitting up and pulling you into her lap with ease. Her hands firmly holding your hips so you couldn't run from what she was about to make you do.
Over the few months of dating Larissa, you had gotten to really see the side she hid from the light. The part she claimed was broken and beyond repair. But with you, there's always a fix, it just takes the right solution.
One thing you always made sure of, was making sure your feelings got through to her and she knew you weren't playing with her. There were many times where you had been in this position and it was Larissa who would be stuck. She never believed you could have so much love for just one person until she met you.
"Say it again." Her crystal lakes shined perfectly in the light.
"I love you Larissa. I love you. I love you. I. Love. You." You kept letting the words roll off your lips as she stared in awe at you. Hearing each and every time you said it.
Larissa began to feel the same weightlessness. Fingers tightening around you as she crashed her lips to yours. Ignoring the happiest tears as they rolled past her temples. The blonde was too caught in the feeling she had craved for so long. The feeling of pure love. You loved her. She had no reason to ever doubt you.
You pulled back and hands were on her cheeks in mere moments, wiping away her tears. "My stars, I love you Larissa. I want to spend my forever appreciating you, loving you, listening to you-"
She cut you off with a shorter kiss now. Her own grin being warming and inviting. "When that time comes, I'll happily make you Mrs. Weems." Your eyes sparkled at the title and it made your body twist in delight. Larissa laughed and gave you just one more kiss. "I love you too, darling. But for now, I have a date to go get ready for so I will see you later."
You hummed but glanced at the clock, "You still have like five hours?" Larissa usually got ready within an hour, maybe an hour and a half. You've watched her a few mornings before classes. "Plus, where are you going when all your stuff is in here?"
"The girls and I have been planning this get ready since you asked me out suspiciously last week." She winked at you, effortlessly picking you out her lap and getting up.
You fell over and laid in her spots warmth. Eyes watching as she collected a few things and slipped on her slippers. "I wasn't suspicious. Asking you out still makes me extremely nervous ya' know."
"Is that gonna be your excuse even after we hit a year? I still make you nervous after almost nine months?" She tilted her head to meet your saddening gaze. You hated to see her go, but you loved to watch her leave.
You let out a dramatic sigh before pushing yourself up and to the edge of your bed. Standing tall on your knees as she stood in front of you. "Clearly you already underestimate how deep my love runs...maybe I could show you one day?"
She smirked at you, "save it for the night you propose. Then I'll never underestimate your love after that." Larissa shook her head at the gasp you let out.
"That's how long I have to wait before giving you it all?! That's like a forever away." You frowned playfully, countering it by leaning into her and placing a kiss to her soft lips. "You're gonna be a wreck when that night comes I hope you know."
Larissa chuckled to that, "you gonna love me that much?"
"Oh baby you can bet your sweet ass I am." You were so confident on the matter. Mostly because you knew it was true, you were going to marry this woman. And along with it was Larissa, how could you not love her forever?
"I will see you later, my lovesick lover." She pecked your cheek, quickly as she could sense your urge to pull her down and stall more time sharing delicate kisses.
And then suddenly, you were alone on the bed sighing in content at what had been shared. Larissa Weems officially knew someone loved her. That everyone was wrong about her, and it just took the right moment.
While Larissa was off getting ready and sharing moments to her friends, you were deep in the woods. Far off Nevermore property, alone in the trees. Your hands shook a bit from the cool breeze and from the unfamiliar unease. You always felt confident when using magic.
But as the full moon began to come into the sky, you had only one chance now or you'd have to wait all over again. Glossy eyes stared up to the blending of day and night. Your lips chanting their practiced plead. Hands waving over the box that would be treasured forever.
The winds around you grew, picking up the leaves and a few branches. Swirling swift circles around you as you kept chanting. A branch had caught your arm briefly, scratching it as it passed. Then another. And Another. The stars must've been testing your devotion finally.
Were you willing to bleed for this woman?
Yes.
Were you willing to go the lengths for her?
Always.
Were you willing to truly love her forever?
Entirely.
At any risk?
You'd risk it all.
Prove it.
A crash of lightening shook the world around you, the tree next to you taking the hit as it fell over and burnt into nothing but embers. You swallowed thickly, it was set perfectly now for her.
You took a minute to settle your trumpeting heart. It was so loud, you don't think you ever heard it beat this hard before. It amazed you. The physical effect of loving her was strong for you. Your body naturally responded to the thought of her, even when she was around, you fit perfectly to her.
Your body buzzed as you collected the box and your journal back into your bag. Your mind focusing on the charged feeling as you headed back to campus. Lost in such a daze of your own spell still, you missed the calling of your name. It was when arms wrapped around you had you really faded back into reality. You were back at the school covered in your own blood. How many branches got you?
"W..Where the hell have you been?" Whoever it was seemed shaken up. And when they pulled back you stared up at the aged face. It was Jade..but way older. "We..we need to get you to the Nurse...or maybe a hospital.."
Your lost eyes scanned over the yard. All the students were staring right back at you, yet these were kids you had never seen before. Something went wrong...something bad...
Jade had led you to the nurse, explaining what hectic situation just got opened up as you sat on the stool and let the light be shined into your eyes. it was pointless for how distant your stare was. "It just seems like a tree attacked the poor thing..these cuts they range from deep to barely scratches." The nurse concluded.
"What should we do?" Jade stepped closer and cupped your paled face. Turning it and examining the skin under smudges. "What the hell happened that night?"
The sound of heels clicking quickly against the floor caught your attention. Getting your lazy eyes to focus at the doorway for whoever was making their way down the hall.
You saw the smooth leg come around first, demanding your eyes to the sharp heels and then up the statuesque figure. Sighing in relief to meet Larissa's look of disbelief. The tears so quickly gathered in her aged eyes and she crept cautiously.
You hated the feeling of these cautious stares and confused glances. You were missing something horribly important and it was overwhelming. Everyone was older and it didn't make any sense.
Tears of your own began to spill, "what's happening..?" You croaked and the sound of your teenage voice brought Larissa to her knees. Suddenly your own confusion was lost as you willed your body to be on the floor with her, your bag falling next to you both. "No...no tears. What? What can I do?" You were in a panic almost. The same way you were anytime she came to you with tears in her eyes. Eager to make her smile again.
Cool hands held your face and Larissa analyzed every detail. Not understanding how it was all the same from all those years ago. "Where did you go?" She whispered just to you.
The beating of your heart seemed to grow more and more as you tried to really recall what you were doing only an hour ago. "I.. I was finishing up your gift. I wanted it to be as special as possible and I was. I was wishing to the stars for it to work. I swore it was the box..the box..your gift..." You felt foolish for forgetting the most important thing right next to you. "I was gonna give it to you on our date tonight." You scrambled to pick it all up.
"Darling...you've been missing for nearly thirty years." Larissa finally gave you the missing key.
You blinked and slowly brought the objects in your lap. That couldn't be right. You were in the woods for one full moon. You were doing the spell you heard of from a fellow witch and it was only an hour. You had a date with Larissa in a few minutes. That's what was supposed to be happening.
"This is a joke right?" You needed a second now, backing up and sitting on the floor. Eyes really taking in the updated nurses office now. It was nothing like the one you had been in many times. Then you stared at the two girls still watching from the doorway. One looked just like a mini Morticia and the other a bundle of joy.
A shaky hand rummaged in your pocket for the spell you had written down. Your eyes traced over each letter. What type of spell did you cast? The words were in something just off of latin, easy to mistranslate.
"You haven't aged a single day." She stated, using her own hand to tilt your head back. Even under all the dirt and cuts, she could just see the face she missed for so long. "They searched every inch of those woods for you, I made sure of it...but were you ever in the woods?"
In the moment you finally took a good look at your body. Covered in the dirt that spun around you. The blood from how the sticks attacked you stained the edges of the ripped fabric from your shirt. It was the button up from the old uniforms. Jade and Larissa knew that.
The blonde woman sighed, grabbing the paper from you hand carefully and inspecting it herself. It was the only clue they had to figure anything out. "This is the spell you casted, yes?"
"It was supposed to be a good luck spell for our relationship...not that we'll need it really, but extra luck never hurts." You were still twisting your body around. "My mom's gonna kill me for ruining another shirt, especially this close to graduation."
Larissa, worried even more, handed the paper over to the blonde girl. "Enid, you and Wednesday go see what you can find out about this. Report back to my office before dinner." Enid saluted before dragging the other along with her to the library. Her attention was immediately back on you.
Her mind reeling as she just watched you inspect yourself. How was she going to tell your parents? What was the witch community going to do when they catch word? After all, you were a legend name.
"Darling why don't we get you cleaned up, hmm? Then we can all have a chat about what happened?" Her tender touch found your jaw and she gave you a sad smile. "You can come shower in my quarters."
"Your quarters?"
"I run the school now...you've missed a lot..."
Your face fell, that's right. You were missing for twenty years. "Will you catch me up?" Was softly spoken as your eyes begged for her comfort.
"There's a lot too catch you up on, I don't think well get through it all tonight." She hummed in agreement. Larissa stood first holding a hand out for you to follow.
Even in the situation, you couldn't help the hard swallow at how beautiful she was.
~~
After a few hours, you were cleaned from the woods and in a pair of boxers and a sweatshirt. Old socks covering your feet as you sat near the fireplace in her office.
Larissa sat on the couch and was just telling you everything that happened end of senior year following your disappearance. Everyone was shaken by it and the witches that year went restless till they figured out what had happened. Letting Larissa in on every detail they managed which was almost nothing.
"How far out did you even go?" She had finally asked. Dying to know how far she didn't go.
You mulled over how long you had gone for. "I sprinted south of the campus for about... fifteen minutes? If I had calculated it right, which let's be honest, I probably didn't, I should've been off campus. I think I was still on it though."
"Darling, that's only about two miles. Of course you weren't off school grounds. South of the school goes for at least ten miles. They bought the land back there for the werewolves to run freely when needed. We've expanded the grounds ever since." Larissa softly chuckled. You always were bad at math.
The knock at the door interrupted though. Her voice carried nicely through the air, granting access to whoever it was knocking. In had walked Enid and Wednesday, the blonde beaming with pride, while the ravenette stared blankly at you. Your stare back mirrored hers.
"The spell was early impossible to find! But thanks to Wednesday's eye for a puzzle, she figured it out. It's been used to vanish for periods of time without any effects. Most used it to escape from past witch hunters. " The young girl explained effortlessly.
You tried to think of why they would've told you it was a luck of love spell. "Can it be undone?" Came quick from you, moving from the ground next to Larissa on the couch. "Is it possible to send me back?"
"Right we figured you'd ask! So we looked into that as well and the only thing we found was some indie website with a reversal spell. It needs everything that sent you here." She handed you the slip of paper that had the spell written on it.
You eyed it skeptically before taking it anyways. "I need to go back out there. " You turned to Larissa, desperate for some help. But when you finally took in her expression, she was beyond sad at this point. It made you hesitate for just a moment. "I'm not trying to leave you 'Rissa...I want to go back so I know I can be here when I'm mean to be. We can't grow old together if you get there before me. Larissa of 91' is expecting me for a date tonight."
"It's just...you were gone for so long, and then you show up, only to be gone again." She laid out her view for you. Giving you the understanding of how much your reappearance has stirred up.
You grabbed her hand and kissed her knuckles. Grinning as she still blushed like a teenager. "If I go back, you'll never have had to feel what loosing me feels like. I told you Larissa, I love you. I love you so much, that when I get back and we graduate I'm going to propose to you. Before we are 21, I promise you my entire future. I want to see how this beautiful woman before me becomes Principal of Nevermore."
A tear escaped from her perfectly done eyes. "I've missed you so much."
"I'll be home and ready to take you on that date before you even know it." You kissed her temple soundly. Lingering so she really knew all those years ago your words were always true.
You jumped from the couch, eagerly rummaging through your bag. Grabbing ahold of the black box and bringing it back over. There you glanced over to the two waiting teens and blushed.
"Girls.." Larissa didn't even tear her eyes from you when she whispered their dismissal.
They didn't wait any longer, mostly cause the one with braids was pulling her counter part. Closing the large wooden doors.
"Earlier in the day..you asked me about this box. I said it was nothing really but, it is something. In it we'll both write premature vows, burn the box in the bonfire, and it should be a in the hands of ancestors if done right with the right person." You explained with tracing over the boxes details. The groves calming your nerves.
Larissa sighed, "I thought you always said to never do love spells. You could never be certain of the person." She brushed a hand through your hair, humming with familiarity.
"I love you Larissa Weems. I always will. That's how I know." You beamed widely. The words made your body tingle and feel light. "I have to get going my love, but I promise." You placed a caring kiss to her forehead.
You had slipped away from her and found your muddy boots. Racing back out the school in nothing but the loaned pajamas. Heavy footsteps carrying you back into the woods you were just carried from this morning.
Larissa watched you from the rooftops as you ran quickly thought the woods. It was then she had noted an interesting fact, your emotions literally lit up the world for you. A pale green light showed you through the woods and you followed it.
Jumping over branches until the light had simmered out in front of you. Leaving the moon to be the only thing to light up the woods for you.
And just like the first time, you began chanting the spell and the wind began to pick up back around you. This time it was warm and welcoming. No branches to reopen any wound or make anew.
Another crash of lighting and you were sprinting north towards the school. Fingers crossed that it had worked and you would find your teenage sweetheart ready for a date.
You needed something to confirm you made it back first. You couldn't go search for Larissa right away, no. The adventure you just had would be something you had to really sit down and tell her about.
Your fastest answer was whatever answer was on the headmaster's office. Either it would be the name you dreaded seeing, Headmaster Wilkins. Or it'd be the name you one day hope accompanies yours.
On the way though, you caught sight of Larissa's friends looking a little frantic. Only for them to spot you as well and sigh in relief. "Jesus! There you are!" The brunette, Melonie, threw her hands up.
"What the hell happened to you..." Meeka, the others twin, took you in up and down. Noting the pajamas and cleaned up cuts.
"That's beside the point, Larissa is gonna be ready in twenty minutes, and she was freaking on your lack of response. Seriously you need to get moving." Melonie was instantly dragging you towards your own dorm.
The entire time she helped you get ready, mumbling about how stressed you made the woman and so forth. Meanwhile you could only smile knowing you were back.
You were beyond excited to see her finally. How your heart and mind agreed and craved to see the statuesque woman right before you. The beauty of her youth being nothing compared to the breathtaking looks of her future.
~
You sat at dinner, rosy cheeks as you listened intently to Larissa talk about her day. You honestly wondered if she'd mention earlier and your lack of appearance.
"And then everyone was asking if you even invited me yet. Your parties proceed you." She hummed to an end of her story. Big blue eyes sparkling in the dim light above the table. "So, are you going to invite me?"
You couldn't help the chuckle that fell from your lips, "I didn't dream of having a party without you." You smiled widely as you reached for the box again. A flash of your future coming through as it was settled on the table. "I did something today...something risky."
Larissa's brows had furrowed at the confession, "and what was that my dear?"
Fingers fiddled with the details. "Henson gave me a spell, it was trusting him that was the first risk. The second was actually going through the whole thing." You didn't need to look up to know she was wearing her disapproving look on.
"You know he gives nothing but mischievous spells out hun," she tried not to be so strict on you. In your eyes it seemed you already felt like a child being scolded.
"I know...yeah....but I couldn't help it. I pondered it for a while but it just seemed harmless. It definitely wasn't though, but I survived it. And now I can sit here and tell you."
"The box is enchanted. A protection for our love and the universes guidance. We write premature vows, never read them, never speak them, but we put them in the box and they morph into a manifestation." You explained it so simply, keeping out the other important part. You didn't need to worry her about much.
Larissa grabbed ahold of the box and your fidgeting hands. "You risked yourself for a good luck potion?"
Your body rattled with emotions at the question. "Yes." You finally met her worried gaze, she was staring at you like you were finally insane. "I love you beyond my own being. I...I already told you I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I dunno..maybe I was the one who was actually scared you'd finally realize just how amazing you are and then realize that I'm not the one giving you that all, I want to be. I try to be. But nothing is forever certain, yet I know my love for you is."
There was a long stretch of silence as she really processed your words. The confiding in her over your own fear was something still relatively new.
It had started with your slight needs of reassurance , they were never to big, always something like an extra kiss or a squeeze to the hand. Then it had grown to you just barely mentioning common things you were afraid of; spiders, heights, flying bugs. But now it was this leap to a genuine fear.
The way your eyes glossed as you spoke so softly. How your hands still managed to twitch under hers, she could feel the warmth from the excessive magic between her hands. You were getting overwhelmed.
"It's ok, you're ok. We're ok my love. I don't want anyone besides you either. You've shown me nothing but your love and have brought me out of my own solitude into your amazing world. We can do this, your good luck charm." She raised a hand to cup your cheek. You loved the smile she gave you, soft and gentle.
And so, you began to pull out two pieces of paper and two pens. A quiet chant came from under your breath.
Larissa watched you cast, something she's never had the honor of seeing. But in front of her, greens whisper around carefully. And she swore she felt it as well coursing through her own body. It was like a cool rush through her veins.
Once done, you handed her a paper and pen. Glancing up at her with deeply flushed cheeks and blown pupils, you felt your breath hitch as she was glued to your every move. You didn't speak as you began to write.
The blonde followed suite and wrote in her own silence as well, feeling the tingle of magic in the ink with every word.
Then you both folded them in half and placed them carefully in the box, along with the pens as well. You had chanted one more time and just like that, you had sealed the box shut for good.
"Thank you..." weakly spilled from your mouth. You grabbed the box off the table and slipped it into your tote. Only you pulled back out a velvety ring box and an envelope. Setting them cautiously on the table. Larissa furrowed her brows now. There's no way this was your idea of proposing... "no, just open them." You lightly laughed.
Her manicured hand reached for both. Starting with the envelope, knowing it would be more special regardless but because you wrote it. She loved how you wrote specifically for her. A beautiful cursive that was spells in their own curves.
My darling 'Rissa,
There's this party I'm throwing, and you are truly the only person I care enough about to make sure you get this invite. Plus, it'll be like the beginning of the year only this time you know I'm not fucking with you. As for the little box I set down with this note, it's a promise ring. Designed specifically for you. A promise that I will go through anything with you, that I'm not leaving your side. That I'll be your biggest fan everyday and every night. You deserve nothing but best and I promise to give you the best.
I promise to love you for ever.
And you signed it with a heart at the end of your name.

Masterlist
"You can't kill me remember?! It's not allowed!" Agatha had Rio pinned to the ground. The two fighting out their small disagreement. The only deal was each kept a pulse.
Rio wore this smile, one Agatha knew meant she liked their position a bit too much for the context of it. It frustrated her that she was still just fucking with her even now. Rio just wanted to disagree to disagree, not actually cause she disagreed.
But the frustration slowly disappeared as smooth hands trailed over Agatha's arm and covered her hand that held Rio around the neck. "Neither of you really want to kill the other. Not in this state." Your voice was like liquid adrenaline as both of them went wide eyed. Turning their heads to look at you in all your glory. Their only common interest that they could share and live somewhat peacefully. You had come back to them.
Agatha's grip loosened under your touch and soon it was gone all together. She didn't want to really take you in, feeling as if you'd be gone all over again. "Someone," your eyes met those brown ones that kept you captive for the last four years, "broke your office door. It's not very safe for you Aggie, especially staying this late."
The nickname rolled so easily from your lips past her ear. "Well if she hadn't come to kill me, pathetic by the way! Coming after me when I'm still working? That's low even for you." She growled at the partner, collecting herself and standing. You following her as if you were her shadow.
Rio only let her smile grow as she sat up. No longer that interested in Agatha as her favorite canvas was finally back in arms reach. "It's been awhile since I've seen you," she stared up with nothing but crazy love swarming her eyes. "You've been keeping me waiting, baby."
You hummed and sent her a mean glare, although from you it was impossible to intimidate them. They saw through that mean glare and saw your kind side so easily.
You slipped off from behind Agatha and on all fours, you crawled closer to Rio. Standing on your knees once you were in between them. Your eyes jumped to take in her face and her appearance. She was just as deathly as you could remember.
"This," you gestured between them, "this isn't the fight you want is it Rio? Her unprepared and an easy kill? That's no fun."
Your tone had a bite just a bit and it wasn't unnoticed. "You've changed, sugar." Agatha came from behind you. Her hand cautiously slipping around your waist as she rested her head on your shoulder, teasing Rio with her own eyes. And when you didn't move out of her touch she hummed her victory. "Where'd you learn to bite like that?"
You watched the hard shift in Rio's expression. She was growing jealous of not having her hands on you. "You learn a bit when you wake up stranded." You undid her hands and stood from the ground, smoothing over your pencil skirt and tucked in button up. You still dressed like their perfect girl. Your hair full and fluffy and perfectly styled to you, you were the spitting image of their future wife and they both knew it.
The other two shared a look. Settling with they won't fully fight till they figure you out. "Now, you know that's not the full story." Agatha had risen to her feet. Standing taller than you in her black heels, even while you stood in your own. Her step closer pulled you closer with your own step. You saw the shock briefly flash across her face, but it was gone before you even really processed it.
Rio had managed to sneak around you, and you swore you never took your eyes off of her. Yet here she stood right behind you, trapping you between the two. "We would never leave you stranded, we were protecting you from something worse.."
"Right, cause that makes all the difference." You scoffed with a mocking laugh. The new attitude and backbone still taking the other two back. Your eyes burned into Rio, waiting for her to try and say anything else, but nothing else came "I'll call someone in the morning to fix the door." And your heels clicked and clacked with every step out.
Once you were out of earshot, Agatha had sighed. "We left her in a cabin in the middle of nowhere, and yet she managed to find her way back."
~
The next few weeks is all about getting you resituated, which neither help with as you told them you didn't need it. Every morning was with you greeting Agatha first and telling her her plan before going to Rio to do the same. But one morning you had shown up to Agatha's office early as requested. Annoyed that the woman wouldn't have mentioned something earlier and waited to call you at six in the morning.
You hauled in before eight in a pristine white outfit, the skirt hugging your thighs as the white long sleeve dipped just ever so slightly. Your lovely legs covered by black tights. Your white heeled boots were echoing your violent steps as you drew closer to her office, slipping through the broken glass casually and staring angrily at the woman in her chair as she smirked knowingly.
"You couldn't have thought to mention this yesterday?" You growled as you walked closer to grab the file from her desk, a hand running through your fluffy waves and flipping them over to one side. Your eyes quickly scanned over the papers. It was a case file of a woman who was a target in some grand money heist. The woman was a crossed out name. "I don't get it."
"Hold onto it and figure it out. Rio wants you over in her building in a few minutes. She has something to also give you." Agatha didn't take her eyes off you. Taking in how good and desirable you looked in the outfit. How angelic you stood. She almost hated the idea of you alone with Rio, knowing how easily your presence alone worked her up.
"What does she have to give?" You huffed, eyes staring out the large windows and into the empty office. It wasn't a long walk, if you went down a decent amount of floors there was a bridge you could cross inside the buildings. You remember when they had built the new building and the two had straight eyesight of the other's office. It's how you honestly first saw Rio outside of meetings.
Agatha would go over for lunch and leave you in her office. And in the beginning you were oblivious to what was happening across the way, too absorbed in compelling work and making them both proud. But then after about five months had you finally noticed.
The single light was on in the office as it poured rain and you had just finished the agreement type up for some company partnering with the two. You stretched your arms up and sighed happy to be done. Your tired eyes wanted to look out the window and down at the quiet city as it thundered.
From the cars, up the building to different floors that still had light, finally to the single light at the very top. Your eyes had to be playing tricks, otherwise you were watching your boss and her partner have an intimate moment. Rio's back was to you as you watched her breathing grow heavy. Then suddenly, she had flopped back onto the desk and her head fell over the edge. Looking straight to you as she came hard on Agatha's mouth as she kissed her way back up. Biting at her neck before also finding your curious eyes watching them.
The blush you wore had spurred them on and Agatha kept touching at Rio. Letting you watch from afar as she brought her into another orgasm with her fingers deep inside and a thumb to her clit.
You'd be lying if you had said the next morning that you didn't see anything. And when she asked, you froze up and rethought of the night you watched. How it made you thrash against your sheets.
"I..." you had stuttered and felt hot tears begin to form in your eyes and they stung. "I just looked up I didn't mean to!" You had gotten worked up but then she hugged you and had spent the day reassuring you. It was the softest you'd ever seen the woman act.
Your eyes then were nothing like the ones that stared at her now. They weren't soft and inviting and begging to be explored, now they were cold and swarming with your own conflicting ideas. "I don't want to see her."
"Now, sugar we both know that's a lie. You're allowed to be upset and hate us, but you still came back to being our assistant so you still have to go over there. Should spend the day with her. Maybe it'll clear this new bite." She spoke so directly and demanding that you didn't actually even consider saying no. "Go spend the day in Rio's building and by five you'll come back and finish up with me."
"Whatever," you grumbled before swaying your hips a bit more as you walked away, stopping right at the door and dropping your head before inhaling sharply and looking to your right and over your shoulder. "FYI..I'm technically only your assistant."
Your words lingered in her office as you made your way over to Rio's. Taking a few extra minutes talking to a few workers you hadn't seen in awhile. Currently talking to Phil as he was telling you about his wife and asking for advice about their anniversary.
"I mean, I don't want her to think I don't care I.. just don't know." He had concluded. And you felt bad for the man, seeing and hearing how much he really wanted to do something special for his wife.
"Well you could take her out to a nice dinner first, no phones just the two of you. Talk to her and give her your attention and ear." You suggested, going off of what anyone would consider a nice time with their significant other. Something you wished you had experienced maybe once or twice before this job stole your entire days.
And before the man could respond, a hand was on your lower back that was open as you leaned against the man's cubical. You bit back your sigh and eye roll. "What are we talking about?" Rio's voice was already showing her signs of being agitated.
"Phil's being a good husband. He was asking for advice," you said before grabbing his sticky notes and a pen. Writing down some restaurant and a time before handing it back over. "It's a really good spot, don't worry about anything I'll have it all covered for you. All you need to do is show."
He read the name before letting a fragile smile take over. "I really appreciate it. I need a win with her," he thanked before you were pushed by Rio's gaze as she started her way for her office.
"Alright, well I let you get back to work. I hope it goes well!" You bid your best wishes before entering your actual doom. And when you saw Rio leaning against her desk with her head hung you could only laugh at her. "I was helping him do something romantic for his wife. Calm your tits." You dropped all your stuff onto the table with an echoing smack.
"And since when did you give out relationship advice?" She cracked her neck before straightening and facing you. Surprised but not showing it as you were already matching her stance. Her eyes dragged over your body. How she itched to touch you and ruin this perfect look of yours.
"More than you ever would. What do you have for me so I can do my work in peace?" You stepped closer without faltering your held up pose. You came toe to toe with her and tested her everything just because you could.
Rio sucked her tooth, hating the challenge you were posing to her. You got brave without them. "I can't give it to you till you finish a piece in what she gave you. You'll know when to ask me again."
You didn't fight the eye roll. "I get woken up early for a fucking scavenger hunt?" You wanted to scream. You wanted to actually yell so loud at the both of them for such a joke. You pinched the bridge of your nose instead though. "Oh this better be a raise or so help me hell will be unleashed."
And that's the last words you spoke while you tried to figure out what you were doing with the case. You had notes on what was happening, the names involved, the mystery name, and your laptop open. Searching through articles to figure out anything. It was about three hours in when you finally got to the right spot.
A pop up with Rio's picture saying 'congrats! ask for your clue!' You groaned loudly before standing up and standing over by her desk. Waiting for her to look up to acknowledge you before you spoke. Her brown eyes sparkled when she finally did look up. A knowing smirk on her lips as she waited your words. "Can I have my puzzle piece?" You asked sourly, giving a quick glance to your watch and realizing you still had more than five hours left.
"Did you read the fine print?" Rio knew something and it made you grow suspicion on what was about to happen if they had planned this.
You stared at the pop up and read the tiny lettering. "To receive your clue that you've worked hard for, you must deliver two kisses. No." You weren't hesitating at all. "I'm not doing this, I don't care what either of you say." You shook your head and began packing up the file. Perfectly shoving everything into the manila folder and leaving with it in hand. Your heels carrying you faster to Agatha's building to tell her the same thing.
Rio cursed your heels as you left first. How well you walked in them and how fast you could walk in them. She was seconds behind you, trying to keep her cool.
You were quick though, as you were already storming with thundering steps into her building. Finding Agatha already with her arms crossed. In a fit of annoyance you shoved the folder into her chest with enough force to send her one step back. And her quirked eyebrow as she regained balance only made you falter in your confidence.
"I must say, you know how to put those heels to use." Her piercing blue eyes stared down at the white boots that she had in fact paid for. She laid for most of your shoes. "And since you have a new thing for dramatics, might we take this to my office?" She gestured towards the elevator while wearing that smile you knew was mocking you.
You huffed and with crossed arms led to the elevator. Knowing the two had no choice but to follow you and it was a new sight for the prying eyes. You were still a new sight for them.
One day, you're this sweet assistant who always followed them around and blushed under their intense gazes. Then the next you're erased from ever working there. No picture, no explanation, nothing of you was mentioned or left. And for months you were gone. They whispered and spoke over lunch breaks that you had finally cracked and left the two.
But then..then you were back and were entirely different. You no longer were all nice and obeying, you knew how to stand your ground and how to play them. How you led them now. You still had a caring bone in your body, but you also grew an entire back bone in the meantime.
~
Rio followed in last, locking the door and drawing the blinds on the window right next to the door. The one that would let Agatha see out into the company and watch employees do something meaningless with their lives. When she turned though, she slowed a bit. You sat all precise on the dark wooden desk with your legs crossed and arms still crossed. Agatha sat in a seat below you and just stared up at you. She was left with not many options but to mimic the pose in the other, only Rio leaned back.
Agatha reached for your folded legs and brought your right one to her. A light touch running up your covered leg but still sending a thousand tingles through you. "You're upset, we understand that. But we're trying to make it up to you." She spoke low and it did even more to you.
"By waking me up early for a scavenger hunt? Three hours on that file and I don't even know what I'm looking for." You wanted to cry because it just overwhelming when you just wanted to go home, tired of their games this week. "And simply I'm not giving out kisses for my next clue!"
Agatha hummed, "I know you don't know, sugar." She used her nickname for you, and you swore it was some plan to coax you into the trap.
What's worse? It was working.
"We gave you that file to give you a chance to figure it out yourself. I remember how much you liked to play in my old cases and put pieces together. That beautiful brain of yours always saw something I couldn't." She unzipped your boot pulling off and massaging at your calf. Watching your face fight back from reacting to the touch.
You got up and climbed into Agatha's lap, "well i didn't see anything." You huffed, letting your fingers begin to play with her broach and trace over the pattern.
"Talk it out for us," Rio suggested. "What do you know about the case?"
And so you did. Some name, the mystery name was their prime focus. They had something, maybe information against others. They had plans on how to get the focus to come out willingly and say anything, yet each attempt had a conclusion of failure. This mystery name was too loyal to whoever they worked for. But then, everything in the file had halted after the last attempt that had no conclusion. "But that's all I picked up. Something happened to their focus and it ruined their whole scheme."
"It sounds so simple on paper." Rio lulled her head to look at Agatha. "Just an unfinished project...." you could sense the shift in Rio, how she wasn't annoyed with you anymore, but at something else. "What else?"
You blinked twice before shaking your head, "that's all I got before the clue popped up. Which I'm still not doing. If you two think you can so easily distract me from the truth, you're wrong." You pouted once again, except your words weren't even considered serious as you sat in Agatha's lap still.
"Aren't you curious though? To know what happened? To get that closure?" Agatha's hand had slipped up your back, scratching it with her nails. You remembered when she let you paint them. And looking at the deep purple that coated her nails made you feel like you had been cheated on as her unofficial nail tech.
You heard her question but the nails distracted you more and you hated that it did. That it had the ability to strike a jealous never you hardly showed. It caused you to stand and stare down at her. "Hardly." You hoisted yourself onto the desk again. "Like I said, I'm not interested in your case."
"It's your case." Rio was quick with her response. But you wanted to ignore her. You head not even budging to look in her direction, eyes narrowing on Agatha. "That blacked out name is you, and we were trying to get you to see it your way before hearing it."
You slowly let the pieces fall into place. Everything you read hours ago...it was why they got rid of you. "No. No you don't get to do this."
"It was for your own safety, baby." Rio leaned forward now. Her hands grabbing your other leg and unzipping your other boot. Your lips turned down as you watched her mischievous hands. "They were going to take you, and they were going to use you against us."
"We couldn't let you be a pawn in their game, sugar." Agatha spoke so softly as she just sat in her chair and watched. Watched as once the boot was off you were climbing into Rio's lap differently from hers. You had straddled her unlike how you sat neatly in Agatha's lap.
You held her face and looked deep into her eyes. "So your answer was to leave me?" You whispered, the breaking evident in your words. Even as you swallowed down the lump in your throat. Your eyes were glassy as you stared down.
Rio balanced between both eyes and reached up to hold your cheek, but you dodged back. Forcing her hand to drop down and let you back out her lap. Ignoring the slight pain that grew in her eyes.
You returned to the chair behind the desk now. Dropping into it and just staring at both of them. And for once in your life you witnessed regret and sorrow on their faces. It made you laugh dryly. "Alright. Explain then."
~
It was a long day in the office. The sun had set in the winter hours and it was only six. They had given you every answer you needed. It ended with you three with drinks in hand.
You had thrown back your first two drinks easily, slowing on the third, and sipping the fourth. Even as you came to finish it and stood on wobbly legs. Suddenly feeling the real effect of those first two. "You know... this should be a lesson to let me in on business more." You swayed your way over. Leaning against the wooden desk and standing up on your tiptoes, mocking your stance in heels. Your eyes lazily stared between the two of them. You were drunk, they knew that, but they had never met this drunk side of you.
You never fully indulged in drinking around them, horrified of all the things you might slip up and say that could cost you your amazing, perfect, made-for-you job. You worked too hard to be their assistant to ruin it on a few drinks. But you had been drunk once around them and it was hardly anything but a mere sway and lightly slurring your words.
The side you were showing now was something more in control. Like you had found your calling while gone and it was to make them bend to your will this time. To worship the ground you walked on, the air you breathed, to wake up and think of how their lives would be nothing without you.
The same way you did for years.
Your eyes, slim and alluring like a siren as you threw back the rest of your drink and sighed. Neither one had anything else to say to you so you pushed off the desk. Leaving the room without much word. But you knew they were watching you away to grab your belongings for the night.
Rio traced the curve in your back as you leaned over to grab your laptop instead of standing in front of your desk to have easier access to everything. She licked her lips as she imagined running a silver blade along it and making you shudder. Then it made her mind wonder to even more ways she could introduce you into knives.
Agatha stared at your chest. The white shirt had really done you well for how basic it was. When you leaned your boobs looked full and kissable. She wondered what they would look like if she got one more chance to cover them in bruises.
Both women were gawking at you, and even as you stood straight up, tying the belt of the black mini dress coat, tossing them a single look before walking out the room. If they knew how smart of a game you were playing, they would've chased you out the door, yet that would be too easy. That night you ended with sprawling out in your bed alone as the world spun around you.
~
"You make it home alright?" Agatha hadn't even looked up from her phone as she came in. Knowing you'd already be in the room somewhere.
The chair facing the window spun around and there you sat once again. In the boss's chair with a winning smirk on your lips. A black skirt that barely covered anything and a short sleeve knitted top the fit you like a glove. Your hair had more curl and your square glasses rested on the top of your nose. "Some strong drinks you poured. But I'm not here for niceties. Please, have a seat." You gestured to the two seats in front of you.
Agatha had a smile on her lips that was from confusion but she was curious. She wanted to know where you were going today. It was a Friday after all. "I need to leave early tonight. No later than six as I'm having a girls night and we're getting ready together. If you say no, I'll walk." Your hands folded as you leaned forward, using those eyes through your glasses as an advantage.
The brunette huffed her laughter. "You wouldn't walk even if we tried to kill you." She crossed her arms and thought for a moment. "If Rio agrees then yes, you're free to leave early tonight."
You groaned and rolled your eyes. "She never lets anyone go early! You do know I'm on paper only your assistant! You're my boss." You defended your case, this is exactly what you said was going to happen as well. "I haven't had a good night out in months. I deserve this. I deserve to have fun." Your arms crossed as you stared sharply.
"And as your boss, I'm telling you to go ask my partner if she's ok with letting you leave early. Who knows, maybe you can swindle her with that little get-up of yours today." She pulled an arm loose to point you up and down. "I remember her once telling you not to wear that skirt here."
"She doesn't control what I wear. It's cute and I was feeling good while getting ready. It's fashion." You picked a small piece of fuzz off. Then you were up and you came around to the front of the desk. Revealing the rest of your outfit of black tights and black heels.
While Agatha was distracted by taking in your entire form, you took the chance to climb into her lap. Humming as a natural instinct to her warm hands sliding over your hips and ass. How they grabbed at you before sliding to hold your thighs in place. "Oh but this skirt, sugar. It hardly covers any of that perfect ass of yours. We don't want anyone to be staring at you and getting the wrong ideas, do we?"
You stuck out your bottom lip. "Oh but Aggie, you two keep me so locked up in your offices that they only see me when going back and forth. You and Rio are the only two looking at me." You reasoned and you knew it was true.
Agatha mocked your expression, "are you saying you don't enjoy our attention? I mean truly I'm just looking at what I mostly paid for... my little model. Don't you miss it? Being spoiled and getting everything you want?" Her hands were moving up and down, over your ass and pushing you down against her more. Making you overly aware of was behind her zipper.
You stared wide eye for a second before laughing lightly of your shock. "If I got everything I wanted, I'd be leaving early tonight. Please? Pretty, pretty please Aggie?" You pleaded with the biggest puppy eyes you could.
The only thing stopping her from her answer was the door opening. Rio had continently walked in to the sight. "Well she's right her, hun. Go on," her hands rocked you against her. A pleased smile crossing her lips as you didn't stop put instead turned to pout yet she saw the desperation painfully slow begin to trickle into your eyes.
"Ask me what?" Rio came to stand behind the chair. A hand brushing your hair back before skidding to hold your chin to look up at her. She saw the desperation as well and her sinister smile grew. "Oh you're fighting it. You're fighting your want for us. How cute baby!" She was teasing you like she always did.
"I don't want you two..." you managed back, feeling the moan that scratched at the back of your throat.
"No I think you do," Agatha let her hands leave your hips. Watching as you didn't stop, instead you were grinding your hips down against her clothed crotch, realizing it only after it was too late. You let out a hum of disagreement, standing from her lap. Before you left though you took note of how you made a mess on her lap already and you couldn't help the small laugh and blush about it. Agatha had followed your eyes sight and gasped and felt something in her stomach tingle at the view. Her mind raced with how wet you must already be, how easy it would be to slip in and out, in and out...
Rio had turned to look at what you both were looking at, but before she could your hand had her jaw looking down at you. A sneaky smile on your face as you came around the chair. Fingers playing along the collar of her dark green button up. "I need to leave early tonight. No latter than six. I expect a yes, if not I walk." You stood in front of her, standing on your tiptoes and pulling her in by her chin. Her silence made you quirk a brow. "Well?"
Her lip twitched up as she enjoyed this act all too much. "Is this a life or death event happening?" She was running her eyes over your entire being. She tucked some hair back behind your ear, seeing the assistant she had first met. "Although, I don't think you should if this is how you're dressing around the offices. Remember last time you wore that skirt?"
You bit your bottom lip and shook your head, "this is fashion, something you could learn a thing or two about." You had teased, knowing that woman knew how to wear her clothes right. "But you don't wanna risk it really do you?"
Rio sucked her canine tooth and smiled, "I guess you'll have to walk then. But, you wouldn't risk it would you?" She matched your stare and it gave her the chance to watch your emotions change up on the flick of a switch.
You abruptly had stepped back and crossed your arms. "I don't even know why I have to ask her! I only need your permission here! You're my boss, not her!" You stomped your foot, looking right past Rio and right to Agatha.
In that moment, you saw the nerve you struck as Agatha came up to give a reassuring squeeze to the other shoulders. Her expression itself expressed her sudden disappointment with you. "You can take the day. We'll see you on Monday." Her voice was steady.
And if you weren't so focused no the fact you got your way and more, you would've slid a half-assed apology before strutting out. Taking the rest of the morning to really sleep and enjoy your new found free time.
~
"'mmm go get some fresh air!" You shouted over the music to your friend, Wanda. You had squeezed her hand before stumbling your way to the back porch and leaning against the railing.
And you don't know what really was happening, the weight of the alcohol blurring your vision and leaving you almost blind. All you knew was you were feeling the winter air breezing over your exposed skin. It was cold and all you wanted was the warmth Agatha's touch brought.
"Sugar?" Her voice filled your ears and you had been quick to smile and look around.
"Aggie!" The happiness in your voice was obvious. "Aggie, did you know...." You were speaking but your eyes were hardly focusing on the party inside and the round of shots Nat had brought to the table, waving you in. "Mmm hang on sunshine, they wanna do more shots."
Agatha tried to protest but knew it fell on deaf ears as the music picked back up and she heard the laughter of the group you were with. It was a chorus of drunk giggles. It blocked out the sound of her thundering heart.
"You know, the milf at the bar has been eyeing you all night!" Nat had nudged her head towards the bar, her eyes trained to yours. "You should take her up on that offer!"
Agatha's blood boiled at the thought of anyone besides herself or Rio touching along your smooth skin. She tried to protest, but it didn't get far as you began speaking again. "No, listen...I'm in love with my boss...her partner too, but they're really attractive...I'd do it, honestly. I'd let them get nasty with it." You words slurred as you confessed to your friends.
"You're doomed! Those women will tear you apart and then leave you with nothing!" Yelena scoffed at your antics with love. "Why not find someone who is going to really take care of you!"
You frowned, you hated when your friends questioned Agatha's true intentions. They were always unclear to you and to them. "You guys wouldn't get it! You all like the boring! My Aggie loves to spoil me."
Over hearing your words tugged at Agatha's heart. The way you talked about her to your friends when highly intoxicated. She knew you had meant those words without realizing.
"You truly are under her spell!" Wanda scrunched her nose, looking lazily over the drinks. "We can go one more shot and 'nother round of drinks." She decided not giving it a second as she dragged you with her back to the bar.
She had began to order, while the milf had began to take interest in you. "Aren't you a pretty one," her eyes ran over your body. "What's your name, hun?" Wanda had leaned in and answered for you. "It's fitting, a beautiful name for a beautiful girl. You single baby?" You grimaced at the way she referred to you, it wasn't the same way Rio called you baby, but once again Wanda had answered for you.
"What's your name?" You had finally managed your own voice as you stared down into this woman's almost black eyes. She wasn't drawing you in the same way your bosses did, she dragged you in with that hungry glint.
"Lilia..Lilia Calderu. Let me buy you another drink?" She let her hand rest on your hip and give it a squeeze. You let out an involuntary moan as she pulled you closer into her space. Her floral perfume invading your nose just ever so slightly. It was light was all you knew, and mixed with heavy smoke. "My goodness, aren't you a sensitive one?"
You blushed under her words, a hand resting on her shoulder to stabilize yourself from swaying. A tiny voice screamed for you to get it together, but the amount of drinking you had done..."what time even is it?" You hummed, your brows furrowing as you searched for your phone.
"In your hand hun, your phone." Lilia laughed, she deemed you too drunk for anything she had planned, but she was still gonna have her fun. She twisted her wrist to see her watch. "It's past two in the morning. You have a bed time or something?"
You gasped, snapping your spinning gaze onto her. "I do not! I am capable of staying out late whenever I please, because I'm a grown up." You sassily reminded her. "Ya' know, Madame Calderu if anything I should be asking if you have a bed time!"
The woman snorted at your joke and it caused you to giggle along. "You truly are an interesting one. I had a long work day and needed something to ease it. I run a big company, and it's constantly full of dumb questions and dumb people."
You laughed a little more at that, "you sound like my boss. She would tell me the same thing after a meeting." Your pupils began to dilate as you talked about Agatha. "Even her partner, she's like my second boss basically, would say the same thing. They're not really people-people. I don't know how they're CEO's." You were carelessly rambling, but it meant something to you as you spoke. Wishing that they were both there with you. You'd love to party with them, seeing if they could keep up with your partying.
"And who do you work for?" Lilia broke into your thoughts eventually. She had watched you space off for a moment there, and she studied you then. You had more with these bosses than you were willing to tell her, a stranger in a bar.
Yet, as you went to answer an arm was pulling you away and the only thing you could really grasp was the cold air on your skin again. "Hey!" You finally cried out, trying to stabilize your vision to save yourself. "Let go!"
"Baby! Baby..it's me. It's Rio. Agatha sent me since I was closer to you." She dropped her hold and raised her hands in surrender. Her eyes dropped over your outfit silently, the deep red silk that wrapped your body and just barely covered everything. Rio would have to go into your closest and really get a look at everything you owned. She wasn't oblivious to how expensive it was, she grew curious if you had bought it or if it was gifted.
Yet that thought slipped from her mind as she felt your arms wrap around her tightly. She listens as you deeply inhaled her cologne and laced your fingers through hers while the other hand found the nape of her neck, twisting the baby hairs. "There was a lady..." you whined into her body.
She felt frozen at your sudden change in your tough demeanor. Earlier, you had her thinking you hated her very being all over again, and now it seemed you wanted to be wrapped up in the very same being. "Really? What was she like?"
"Not like you and Aggie...I told my friends no but they didn't care. It's cold, Ri..." You snuggled in closer to her body heat. Humming in content when a coat was dropped around you.
Rio scooped you up and carried you to her car, holding your thigh as you drifted in and out of sleep. Pleased to know that you weren't a stubborn drunk. She listens as you mumbled incoherently a few times. "mmm..."
"Yes baby?" Rio lightly squeezed your plush thigh, head going between you and the road. "Do you need anything?"
You gave another groan, "'mmm be sick.." you began to feel the awful churning in your stomach, something you hadn't experienced since college. You rolled your head to stare at the whizzing road ahead of you, it was unfamiliar territory but there were houses that were grand all around you. "Where?"
There wasn't an answer as she pulled into a driveway and quickly carried you inside, dropping you near the upstairs bathroom and doing everything else to set you right for the night. Setting out a big shirt and new underwear for you.
You hunched over the toilet and felt the world continue to spin, not realizing anything and just letting the universe steer you in the right path. You let out a loud enough groan to bring Rio in. You sensed her in the door , "I need to brush my teeth." You whined.
She laughed but helped you with it anyways. Holding your waist so you would stay upright as your hand lazily moved to clean off any alcohol. Once you were done, you had stood still and swayed as Rio had left you.
You needed to change next. The silk dress wasn't going to be comfortable to sleep in. But you were so unstable. Even as your wobbly legs moved while you clawed at your shoes to get out of them, ignoring Rio's presence and striping bare in front of her.
Rio stood and watched you from the door, eyes shamelessly drinking you in. Being stopped as the fabric of the green shirt covered everything but your legs sculpted by Aphrodite herself. "Do you need anything else, baby?"
You flopped into her luxurious bed and moaned at how the comforter ate you alive. "Stay with me..." You managed out before your eyes had finally shut for the night.
The brunette was left to fight her own battle: get into the bed with you or sleep in the unmade guest room. She was heavily leaning to the latter, remembering the looks you've given her in the past few weeks. It was familiar, but she had just gotten you to like her before they had to leave you. Although, her answer was made as she watched your sleeping form pat around and then whine without her next to you. So, she changed quickly and climbed next to you carefully. Breath hitching as you gained a new strength and pulled her to the middle with you, having a death grip on the woman's waist as your head buried into her side and your lips subconsciously pressed into her ribs.
"G'night my moonlight," you weren't aware of the old nickname that slipped out. Nor were you aware of how Rio shuddered and finally returned your hold as she could rest comfortably now.
~
The inevitable hangover you had was the worst start to your Saturday. You didn't even have to fully be awake to feel the truck hitting your body full force. You felt sore and heavy, but maybe that's because you have a body on top of you.
Wait.
Your eyes peeled open and you were instantly staring at Rio. You felt confused and lost. It showed through the sleepy crease between your brows and the frown on your lips.
Rio never thought you looked more breathtaking. She understood why Agatha wanted you all for herself. This sight alone was enough to want to kill anyone else who thought to see it.
There were no words exchanged for the first few seconds. But then the more you stared at her, the more you looked up into the adoring brown eyes, the more you felt your heartbeat thump against your chest.
Your mouth opened slightly then closed again, a broken noise threatening to come out instead of words. Even as your bottom lip began to quiver, you didn't know how to start.
"We once were a harmony." She had whispered into the still air. Your eyes began to sparkle with tears. "No...no my sweet, don't cry. I know it's been hard for you. Putting up this big mean act cause you're scared. If I'm honest, and you'll have to promise not to tell Agatha, but I'm scared too. I'm scared you won't remember the good things about me. That I'll have to breakdown for you all over again." She was being vulnerable with you for the first time since you'd been back.
"I haven't forgotten a single thing about you Rio...it's why I wasn't ever capable of actually hating you both. There was too much for me to really believe you'd ever leave me like that..." You confided, the lingering thought that stayed deep in the shadows of your brain. Never daring to come up to anyone until now. "Kiss me?" You kept your lips slightly parted.
You listened to her shuddering gasp before wasting no more time to kiss you. Her lips slotting perfectly with yours like they've been there before. They moved sensually with yours as they led. The kiss itself wasn't anything rushed or too fierce, it was slow and meaningful. Filled with unspoken apologies and promises.
Yet when your tears were slipping into the kiss, those brown eyes were back and scanning your every detail. "Baby what do you need?" She tried, you could feel her shaking hands against your face. It wasn't like her. To be scared. But she couldn't help it as she didn't know what to do to help you. Agatha wasn't here to fully soothe you the way she would, Rio hardly knew any of your ticks and bits.
But your hand was quick to fist her shirt and push her back against the mattress. Putting you with the upper hand as tears fell from your eyes onto her cheeks. Her heart thumped loudly at the sight. "My moonlight..." you whispered. "My moonlight." You were a little more confident with it. "My moonlight." You said it as you meant it. You pushed off her and immediately booked it out her room.
You ran into the room that you had there (you stayed in it all of once). You hid it in there for her because you knew they'd never look in that room. You began to rummage through the drawers that had almost nothing in them. Your fingertips running over the smooth leather as you pulled it out. You wasted no time returning to her on the bed, still in the same spot.
You jumped on top of her and she made a small 'oof' but at your wide smile she couldn't be mad. You had to give it to her now or it would forever be forgotten. " 'm sorry bout what I said the other day. I wanted to go out and you were being stubborn."
She laughed at that and it made your heart feel ten times lighter and your smile touched your eyes. "I was the stubborn one?" She pinched your side. You told yourself to ignore the disappearing pain because that's what she would want.
But you didn't. "You thought I was running...didn't you?" Your smile began to drop and you held her face with both your warm hands. She lost your gaze and you sighed. "I went to get you something. I had gotten it for you before, ya' know." You brought the casing around, scooting down onto her thighs so she could sit up to open it.
Her hand undid the string that wrapped it close and it opened up to reveal a knife. It was intricately designed and had a curve to it. Green designed all over the handle. You couldn't help but smile at the sight of it, forgetting how good it looked for her. And when she picked it up and held it, it only proved that it was for her.
"Do you like it?" You stared intently and soaked in everything.
Rio looked up to you, seeing how your eyes were on her and nobody but her. You were giving her all your attention. "I'll carry it with me everywhere baby." She hummed, leaning in and placing a kiss to your covered chest.
You bit your lip as you glowed with pride. "I knew you would. Aggie said you wouldn't, but I told her I was set on getting you something while we were off on our buisness trip. I figured, well if they left me behind alone I'd hope they'd bring me a gift at least. So I dragged her around Japan till we had found the right one."
"It's beautiful, thank you." She was earnest in her words. Setting it aside and letting her arms snake around you and hold you close to her. She listened to your steady heartbeat. "What is it you want to do today?"
You forgot you had an actual day still ahead of you. And as your arms dropped on her shoulders and played in her brown hair you only shrugged. "I have a severe hangover." You pouted.
Rio laughed, "and what if we take it easy today then go out tonight? Invite Agatha with?" She wanted to see you free and how ever you were last night. But you shook your head no.
"What if, me and you stayed here? Just like this...only horizontal?" You leaned all your weight to the side and tipped you both over. Giggling as you fell with a soft thump into the blanket.
For a second you had just stared at her though. Watching as your silence began to confuse the air as it went on. "Did you know, the moon is rumored to be the reason we have water?"
"Really? And what made you think of that?"
"Well we need water to survive, and if we were never given the moon we'd probably have no water. So I'm saying if it wasn't given you, I'd probably be dying?" The confession was sudden, and so was the peck that chased after it.
The soft knock on the door made you sit up immediately, eyes landing on Agatha and your smile grew. You turned back down to Rio, giving her a longer kiss before running to the others arms. You wanted her to know that you were coming back for her, and that was a promise.
"Oh! Aggie! You'll never believe how this morning has been. Come! Join us!" You were eager to be surrounded again, now that you remembered why you were always coming back to them. "And Rio, she liked the knife from Japan."
Agatha looked to the other and raised a brow, a nod confirming her very suspicion. "So you're not upset with us anymore?" You shook your head brightly. Seeing it deep in those blue eyes her need to hear the only thing that could really confirm this wasn't some sick joke on her.
"My sunshine...come, out of business and into a big shirt!" You got giddy at the nickname and skipped around the room. Neither one knowing where this energy had come from.
But once Agatha obeyed your wishes, you jumped right between the two and sat on your knees gawking at them. You couldn't help to take in everything about them in this reunion. Seeing their frustrations slowly slip away as they knew it'd be ok again.
"Our universe," you giggled before lying down. Agatha coming close behind you as you faced Rio who was just slightly below you. "A perfect orbit."
~
It was dark out as the sun had finally set, you sat in Agatha's office clearly distracted by her outfit of the day. Her white silk top unbuttoned and tucked into her purple slacks made you drool. She had rolled her sleeves up during lunch with Rio and you had lost all thoughts since.
She was reading the article that had just dropped about someone you were uninterested in. "Did you hear me?"
You blinked and hummed, "no I'm sorry Aggie. What did you say?" You had moved from your spot on the couch and around to the side of her desk, sitting against the edge. You glanced at the screen and it was half way through. The only thing that stood out was a name.
Lilia Calderu.
"Hey! That name seems familiar." You pointed to it. Agatha following your hand to the name, which she rolled her eyes at.
"She's one of our next partners. She's supposed to be coming in later tonight to meet with Rio and I. Her company would really benefit with us on both ends." Agatha explained as a hand began to play at the hem of your skirt. She didn't miss the way you shuffled a half-step closer. "Why does it seem familiar?"
You thought for a moment to pick it out, yet nothing came to. "I don't know...maybe I read it in the schedules? Do I have to stay and be there?"
"You got a hot date or something?" She raised a brow at how eager you seemed to leave. Yet, you shook your head and gave an 'uh-uh'. "If you can be good and stay, we'll do whatever you want when we get home ok?"
"You got a deal!" You agreed, sealing it with a kiss. Knowing the full seal would be with Rio as well. Which meant you had a trip to take. "I'm going to her now, probably will come in with her."
Agatha laughed lightly to herself. A month ago you would've cried for having to spend time in Rio's office. "You liking her more than me, sugar?"
You gasped at such an idea. "Aggie! How could you! You know I like you both for different reasons. You can't compete when not even in the same field. You are my Aggie, my sunshine, my purple goodness! Especially in this outfit...you've both been taking my advice!" You traced your fingers over the expensive material. Dusting it off before finding home in her lap.
"You always know how to say the right thing, how?" Agatha let her hands slip onto your hips and caress them with her thumb.
"It's because I tell the truth. I'll always be truthful with you as long as you both stay truthful with me." Your pinky was raised between you both and Agatha flickered to it before back up. "Promise it and I promise to never leaver your side." The seriousness in your eyes warmed the woman and she couldn't just ignore your pinky.
That moment carried Agatha through the rest of the night. She had finished up a few papers and had set the ones that needed Rio's signature over. It was peaceful and calm, even when Lilia showed up. But obviously something had to go wrong. And it started as soon as you stepped in the meeting with Rio.
The air stilled once Lilia had dawned her eyes on you. "So we meet again," she smiled at you. "Didn't think it was going to be here of all places." Your brows furrowed as you didn't remember her right away, but as you watched her sit and saw her at this new angle, she flashed through you mind and a sudden blush rose to your cheeks.
This was embarrassing.
"You two have met?" Agatha raised her own perfectly done brow, side glancing to Rio who was also confused.
"We have," Your voice was so careful, scared to give away too much but scared to lie to them when you had the proof right in front of them.
The room was quiet, only for a second. "Well, let's get to it. Don't wanna stay all night in the offices!" Agatha clapped and took her seat at the head of the table.
Rio stepped closer, dragging you with her and behind them. There you sat for most of the meeting, shifting slightly in a corner any time Lilia drank in your presence. You didn't know what this woman was capable of but if her stare was anything to go by, you could tell she was meant for the CEO life. It was both neutral and filled with expressions. One second her brows would be furrowed and then she's glowing with happiness.
You had no idea what was being said either, too engrossed in fluttering eyes between the three women. Watching their faces change with the ideas and bargains they threw onto the table. Agatha showed it in how her eyebrows would slightly twitch, Rio's was her lip, and Lilia would narrow her eyes a little. You did your best to tune back in.
"I said not right away. That's finale. If it happens further down the line on her own account, then it does, but until then you will take what we've given you." Agatha bit. You couldn't see the daring eyes she was using, but you had assumed she had some look as Lilia seemed to accept defeat a little.
Her brown eyes bored into you next. Taking in your presence and sighing. "She's loyal to you two anyways. Don't know what type of spell you put that poor girl under." She rolled her eyes before standing. Reaching out her hand to shake theirs and accept the deal. "It was a pleasure doing business. I'll have Jen send over our half of documents with signatures by Friday."
The room moved and you had moved with it, only as you went to also shake the woman's hand, Agatha pushed you forward and out the way. "Have a nice night Ms. Calderu." She slowly bowed her head and you stepped back watching the older woman walk out.
You didn't know what to say, not knowing what their reactions would be to anything. Instead you followed them both back to Agatha's office. Noting how warm it was in contrast to the meeting room.
"So? Do you want to further explain why she knew you?" Agatha spoke lightly. Her heels clicked as she rounded the desk. She had opened a drawer but hid whatever she pulled out in her pocket.
You switched your gaze to Rio, never loosing her eyes as she moved to be next to Agatha. Doing the exact same thing of pulling something out a drawer and hiding it. You didn't quite understand the feeling that you were going through. You were intrigued, curious, but petrified and nervous. You didn't know what they were up to and it made you stumble on your words. "We...at the bar the other week..." you managed.
The two stepped from behind the desk, leaning against it and painfully slow racking their eyes up and down you. Knowing smirks as you shifted in your stance. "Is that who you were talking to when I got there?" Rio raised a brow. Your nod made something bubble deep in her gut as she remembered how Lilia's hands were holding you close.
"You were flirting with other woman?" Agatha shot you a faked look of hurt. She stuck out her bottom lip and titled her head.
But you were quick to deny these allegations. "No! Never! Aggie you know I would never," you reassured. "...I drank a lot that night but I know nothing happened. I woke up with Rio the next morning and had no marks on me."
"Promise?" She raised her pinky, knowing it was childish, but you always said you never broke a pinky promise.
And as Rio raised her pinky, they couldn't help the smiles as you practically flew over to connect your pinkies and seal it with a kiss to their knuckles. "Promise." You were so confident in your word.
Then it was smooth the next few moves. Rio tugged you into her arms, putting your back to her front and arms wrapping around your waist as she kissed along your neck. Agatha had stepped closer as you gasped and with a feather light touch, held your cheek and kissed you. It was a moment of tranquility now. They weren't rough or saying anything to tease how you squirmed from just the simplicity. They were letting you revel in it.
Your own hands separated ways, one going to the back of Agatha head and the other into Rio's hair. You need to be grounded to something, anything to tell you this was happening and not some story.
Agatha pulled away first, staying close but just enough to see both you and Rio. "Sugar, we have something we want to give you. For being so good to us."
You beamed, but then instantly dropped it. "Wait but I don't have anything for either of you!" You frowned as they both chuckled.
"You're not supposed to, that's why it's a surprise. You've gone through more than you would've because of us. But you've stuck with us," Rio explained close to your ear.
You didn't say anything else as her hand came around and held a small box up. Your mind began to race at whatever was in there, because surely they wouldn't be proposing in the offices? Agatha raised a matching box parallel to Rio's. You wanted to figure it out before they told you. Even as you reached to just rest your hands on top of theirs. "What's happening right now?" You sounded out of breath, surprising yourself mostly.
But neither one answered and just slightly raised their hands up more. Giving you no choice but to open the boxes with her loving eyes trained to your every micro expression. You started with Agatha's, naturally eager for any gift shed ever give you. It was a gold ring, the band leading to a gorgeous sun that made your heart ram against your chest. Although, the rays didn't circle all the way around which at first you thought was odd, it was incomplete but still beautiful. And as your precious eyes went to stare up, your words ran from you as Agatha was softly smiling down at you and it was genuine. You saw how it hit her eyes and how they swarmed with warmth and comfort. Her eyes suddenly dropped over to Rio's hand and Rio, teasing you to follow them. There was another box to be open. Your hands shook just slightly as they peeled back the top. You swore tears had began to sting your eyes as you stared down at the silver band. The moon right in the middle was a crescent moon that had stars that finished the rays. You slowly pushed their hands together and pieced it together. The rings stacked, and they were your sunshine and moonlight. A single tear rolled down your cheek as you began to glow.
But then you peaked something from behind the boxes. Both had a matching band on their ring fingers. Your eyes instantly snapped up and you showed your confusion without hesitation. Meanwhile, your hand turn over Agatha's ringed hand. You felt the excitement run through you as you let your eyes fall. Lo and behold was a diamond detailed band with the earth in the middle residing on her ring finger. You couldn't help the laugh and squeal you let out as you slipped on their rings finally. Putting them together on your own ring finger and staring in awe. Quickly gasping, "wait, what do these mean?"
"A promise that we're always going to be here for you. For our universe." Agatha had whispered, grabbing the boxes and setting them on the desk. Coming back to hold your face in her hands and really just take you in. "A promise that we won't let anything ever happen to you again."
"A promise that we'll always have your back against the anything and anyone." Rio tightened her grip on your waist. "A promise that we'll kill anyone who even tries to hurt you."
To that you laughed and embraced their holds as you engrained the very moment in to your memory forever. How they made you feel internally, not to forget how their words physically seemed to warm you up as well. "And what is it I seemed to have already promised you two?" You raised the question playfully raising a brow.
"Just promise us your love." Agatha began.
"Your attention." Rio continued. And they went back and forth.
"Your affection."
"Your wishes."
"Your dreams."
"Your thoughts."
"Just promise us you won't leave." Her blue eyes were begging you. And so were the brown ones on the side of you. They needed those words to come tumbling out of your mouth and swear it to them. And you were ready to give it to them, but with how serious it became you had the need to lighten the mood above all of it.
"Sounds like you want me to say it first," you blushed up to Agatha. A hand slipped from Rio's to cup her cheek and bring her closer to you. And it earned you a light scoff and a smirk, which you would take. "I promise to love you both forever and ever...mmh but I don't promise to be your assistant forever and ever." You squinted your eyes slightly. Earning this time a verbal scoff.
Rio rounded from behind you, "why not?!" She frowned, not getting what you were getting at in the moment. To that you gave your own laugh.
"This job is brutal! Do you know how demanding you two are?" You jabbed a finger into her chest, but then you let it curl around the green tie she wore and pulled her in close as well. "I expect a proposal better than in the offices just so you two know." Your words were fierce as your eyes sparkled in innocence. You so perfectly knew how to use those eyes to your advantage.
~
Hands were all over your bare body as you gasped between them. "I've missed your noises," Rio spoke against your neck. Her hands slipped from where it was to under you boobs, dragging her nails following your bones. Throbbing at the lower toned moaned you released at the feeling of it. She wondered....Agatha's hands slipped over your hips to the front of your thighs, humming in agreement to the claim. "Do you trust me baby?" She backed off from you and grabbed your jaw to bring you to look at her. Smirking at the blown out pupils as you just adored her. You nodded, dumbly.
She smiled and left the room, but she had whispered to Agatha something waiting for some signal before she did leave. "Rio will be a minute, sugar. But that doesn't mean we have to stop...why don't we warm you up, hmmm?" asked before sinking her teeth into the expanse of your neck. Listening to you whimper before quickly spinning around to be facing her. A dopey grin as you found her eyes just as blown as your own. You loved when it was in these moments.
"Aggie..." You said it in a way as if you hadn't seen her in forever. "Mmm I agree, though." Your tone had shifted as you pulled her closer and blushed, "I've missed you like this. Half dressed and ready to eat me alive."
She gasped but then lightly chuckled, "oh hun, I've been ready to devour you since the first day you came back. Wanted to fuck that little attitude of yours out. You were so bratty...should've bent you over my knee and given you a spanking honestly." Her hands slid over your ass and squeezed.
"You didn't like a little resistance?" You teased as you let a finger twirl in her waves of darkness. "I enjoyed it, I liked watching you get all flustered at such an attitude." You began shifting around with her so easily, going from your knees to her leaning over you from between your legs. "And then, when I would go back to the apartment you kept for me, I fucked myself at the thought of you. Thinking of how I sometimes did still wish for you to rail me."
"Sometimes? Sugar, we both know you waited for me to fuck you every day since the first. We both held out, but now? Now I'm gonna make up for all those days spent giving longing glances and teasing." She began kissing her way down your body as she spoke, starting from your jaw.
She lingered around your thighs, peppering kisses all over. Hushing you as you whined and grabbed at the bed sheets. Dragging her tongue up the inner side of your thighs, she nipped you. "Patience, remember? We have all night together, just relax and enjoy it." Her lips pressed over where she bit and she delivered her first swipe through your folds. Humming at the sweet taste of you. She decided not to comment on how wet you really were, already coating her chin as she slowly licked you up.
You were lost in a new world. It had been too long since you felt her like this and your body craved more. It needed her touch in every possible way till you physically couldn't take anymore. You wanted to be fucked out that hard, but you knew they weren't going to right away.
"Aggie..." you wanted to fight the need that shined under her attention. Even as you knew your eyes betrayed you and stared wide at her, allowing her into your every thought.
"You'll always be our world, right?" She spoke lowly against you. Her warm breath blowing you like a leaf closer to the edge. Teasing and keeping you right there, focusing on whether you're going to fall over or if you're going to find your footing and balance.
You felt a weight in your chest, along with one on your ring finger. You had said it only mere hours ago, but it feels heavier this time. Not like you were pledging your eternal love, but now you were promising them your entire being. "Promise." You exhaled everything.
Agatha was back on you in seconds. Her tongue moving faster, harder, wiser, teasing you at the edge again. Only this time she blew you over with a simple swipe and you came with a cry of her name and a squeeze to her hand splayed on your stomach.
"Having all the fun without me?" Rio's voice slipped through the ringing in your ears. She stood at the edge of the bed behind Agatha, her fingers creeping up her spine and to her hair while Agatha sat up.
"Well, we both agreed we should warm up. Not our fault you took too long." Her blue eyes were glowing while she smiled at you. "Sugar, do you need another minute?"
Her nails lightly scratched up your bent legs, and you hummed. Sitting up right as well, and slowly -letting an eager grin take over your lips. "What do you two have planned?"
They both had this glow in their eye, one that spoke many things to you. But most prominently, tonight was all about making you feel good. Spoiling you for all the time that had been missed.
When you looked at Agatha first, you blushed under her intense blues. They always made you feel so special. That nothing was going to touch you without killing her first. Then you jumped to Rio. Her cheeks reddened under your loving gaze but her eyes stayed loyal and dedicated. That she didn't need anyone else to pay attention to her, she just needed you.
"Tonight baby, we want to make you feel the most special. To try something new for a new start.." Rio shifted closer, yet still staying hidden by Agatha.
"Sugar," her voice grabbed your attention back to her. "Rio wants to try something new with you, are you up for it?" Agatha adored how your brows furrowed in confusion. "She wants to see how well you can ride, I've talked you up so much she just wants to see herself."
The idea made you hum in approval. And when Agatha crawled away, she revealed the black strap harnessed around the other. "Go on baby, get it nice and wet for yourself." Rio spoke lowly. Her hips seemed to be struggling to contain themselves the moment you licked a slobbery strip up your hand. Wrapping around the silicone and tugging her close.
"Always so fierce for what's yours sugar..." Agatha started situating herself on the side of you, her hands constantly exploring your exposed back. "We're all yours hun, nobody will ever take us from you."
Your plush lips wrapped around the tip, "Promise." Rio moaned, almost like she could feel the sensation of your slow bobs up and down.
Your eyes formed through your lashes up to her, going deeper on her till your nose hit her stomach. Rio nearly came undone right there, how good you looked with her stuffing your mouth.
"Just like that hun, take all of her. Such a good girl." Agatha brushed your hair back, fingertips ghosting your skin every time. It made your spine shake with a shiver.
"You're so good at sucking dick baby. I could have you in this position forever." Rio groaned as she bucked only slightly into your mouth. Her hands began to fidget at her side.
You hummed around her and glanced towards Agatha. Hoping she caught your message. And even though she wasn't one for rough housing her perfect girl, she wasn't going to speak for the other woman. "You can be rough with her...in fact she likes it. I don't give it to her cause I'd hate to ruin my precious doll, but she couldn't care less about being made a mess. To be a dirty girl for a change."
The words rang in the air and you felt your chest tighten with need. Just as you were about to pull off, Rio twisted a fistful of your hair and began throat fucking you. Something took over and she just couldn't stop. The way you gagged drew her in. The tears made her heart squeeze. She couldn't get enough of you.
Her hips started snapping and you questioned how much longer you could keep up. Agatha watched from the side as you started to seem unsure. "Rio..ease up." She murmured. The protectiveness in her sneaking to the front line.
But Rio didn't slow down. Chasing after her own high. "Mmh, I'm so close...her mouth is just so fucking amazing..." she used her free hand to wipe away your spilled tear.
Your hand stated to shift in the sheets. Making their way to the quick hips, trying to slow them just a little bit. "Rio, I said ease up." Agatha stated more firmly. Raising to her knees to meet the brown eyes.
You had managed however to push out her grasp. Gasping for air as your airways opened back up. Lying on your back, you couldn't help but begin to giggle. A hand between your thighs as the squeezed together. Your knees were bent in the air, blocking the two of them from view.
You'd never felt so used before. You loved it. The way Rio ignored it because she knew you could take more, it made you warm and fuzzy. At some point you must've slipped away into your own world. Letting the argument be distant in your hearing.
You rose to be sitting, a deep red over your cheeks as you eyed the glistening strap. "You always that rough?" You sighed dreamily. "It was hot...so incredibly sexy.." you crawled your way across the mattress and right into her lap. "You've got me a mess, Rio...."
The dildo seemingly disappeared as you slid down effortlessly onto her. Whimpering at the stretch the moment you bottomed out. Her hands, desperate and eager to touch you even more, held you. "I bet you've been waiting for someone to treat that little slut in you huh?" She wasted no time in moving you. Up and down, up and down, slow and steady. Every ridge scrapped along your walls in a delicious manner.
"Mm-hmm," you buried your face into her neck. Soft kisses touch her flesh. "Fuck me hard Rio."
It took mere seconds for her strong arms to throw you onto your back. Taking you towards the end of the bed more and instantly building a pace. Rio seemed to know her way with fucking hard.
The tip of her hit deep in your stomach, each time a lewd moan rolled through your body. It was a bliss you never had before.
Agatha wondered if you enjoyed the rough fucking more than her soft loving. She watched how your face contorted with smiles at the pleasure. Then her eyes fell down to your boobs jiggling with every thrust. They were round and young. The way Rio's black manicured nails dug into your skin as she kneaded them. Down to where you and the brunette connected. Watching how it was shinning and sliding.
"Gods, I could watch you be fucked all day long. You like how hard Rio's pounding into you? And here I thought you were a perfect girl." Agatha cooed next to you. Her blue eyed seriously drank in the sight before her. Although not her speed, she enjoyed watching you finally get what you've always wanted.
Your fist clenched around the sheets, your knuckles were white as bone. A series of high pitched moans and cries were the only thing to begin to escape you. Your breath struggling to find itself, you needed a grounding to the burning sensation in your body.
Right as you leaped from the ledge your hand grasped to Agatha's. Taking a sharp gasp in as you succumbed to the roughest fucking of your life.
Rio fell limp over you, kissing your thumping pulse in your neck. "Thank you baby," she mumbled. If you were correct, it seemed she was tired all ready.
"I want something from you Rio..." you panted only slightly. Eyed twinkling with a thought as you rolled your head to find Agatha staring at your naked bodies intensely. "I want you to fuck Aggie the way you did me.."
Both woman snapped their stares to each other. Blushing madly at the idea. They've only ever shared you, never themselves. They hated each other most of the time.
Rio slid out of you, pushing your legs from around her towards your chest. Carefully rolling you out the way for the brunette to take your spot.
"We've never..." Agatha seemed nervous for the first time you've ever know her. "Not out of love at least.."
"So you did it out of hate?" You quirked a brow, scooting on your knees closer to her. Standing tall to look just ever so slightly down at her. "It's my night, Aggie..I just wanna see you feel good. To watch you struggle to contain your composure just once. I'll never ask again." Your words were true and your eyes innocent of lies.
So, the woman agreed. Delivering a kiss to your sternum before taking the position you held not too long ago. Her sharp blue eyes trained to Rio above her. The black strap glistened with you as it rest mere moment away.
You on the other hand had second motives. You slid from the bed with a slight wobble, rounding to stand right behind Rio. Nails lightly scratching up her back and down her arms. "I bet you've wanted her like this for ages. Accepting what she would give you but never being able to give anything back."
"So many nights thrown over a desk after an argument. Just because she had to be right." Rio grunted. Hands trailing the pale thighs in front of her.
You hummed, "Aggie never was one for taking. She always has to give. But I think she liked watching us. Just look how soaked she is." You eyed her glistening folds. Dark brown curls gleamed with an unknown want.
Agatha shifted ever so slightly. "Are you gonna talk her through the entire thing?" Her eyes narrowed only a bit.
You flashed a false smile. All your attention back to the other. Your arms ghosted up her muscular arms. "I bet you could get away with manhandling her. These arms.." you sighed before licking up her left arm as it flexed.
Rio shivered under the feeling, the cold air in the room raising goosebumps up her arms. "She's so soft.." nails dug in and yanked her closer. The tip waited right there. Dark eyes peaked up, catching glossy blues that silently begged for it. "So you don't hate me still?"
With the last of her resistance crumbling, Agatha shook her head frantically. "No...no I never-" her confession was cut short by a loud cry.
You had pushed Rio's hips forward. Lips attaching to the side of her neck and sucking hard. After a few seconds you let up with a clean 'pop'. "We can confess after...how does it feel? Being that deep in the big, bad Agatha Harkness?"
Rio's breath was shaky, "good. Really fucking good." She let her hands get the right grip before easing into a brutal pace.
You watched from behind amazed. Agatha was squirming against the mattress, unable to control her response. She was helpless against the pleasure.
"Doesn't it feel so good to be the one out of control? Doesn't Rio feel good?" You cooed from over the shoulder.
"So fucking good," her hands finally found a grip in the sheets. "Don't stop, shit!" Agatha pushed herself further into the sickening pace.
You hummed, pleased with such a view. But you wanted to be in on this one. With a dripping core, you rounded to straddle Agatha's stomach. You face Rio, grabbing her face and kissing her deeply. "When she comes all over me will you clean it up like a good girl?." She had a certain strain in her words, one that made an extra gush flow from you.
You nodded with your lip between your teeth. "It'll be my best work yet." You kissed her again, this time your hand finding Agatha's clit.
Her head rolled into the dark waves covering the bed. "Holy shit.." she could barely get words out. You expected her to tip over right then and there
What you hadn't expected was Agatha grinding your hips onto her. You moaned into the air and glanced lazily over your should to her. "I guess I'm not the only messy one." You giggled. Taking the note and smearing your cunt all over her torso.
It was seconds later Agatha was falling apart and so were you (the former louder than the latter). Nobody moved for a moment. Deep pants warmed the room as each reeled themselves back.
Rio was the first to move, pulling out from Agatha and stepping back for a second. Admiring her work of the two of you in the bed. But the second of clarity was done the moment Rio pulled you by the hair to the ground. "Go on. Start cleaning up the mess you wanted."
And you did. Sucking Rio of a mix of you and Agatha off. It might've become one of your favorite things. You could get used to this so easily. The many thoughts had managed to work you right back up again.
As you pulled off the strap, a trail of saliva connected you still. "Oh, you're not done baby don't worry. I think Agatha needs some cleaning up. She got a little messy too." Her brows raised as her head tilted towards the woman who had just sat up on the bed.
Your eyes followed hers and your heart dropped dramatically into your core. A purple strap, equally as large had appeared between Agatha's legs.
You didn't have to be told twice as you stalked your way on all fours over. Elbows resting over the plush ivory thighs as you began to suck Agatha off. Not wasting any second to take all of her in and drool all over before pulling back off.
Glittering eyes shined up at two darkening clouds. This is exactly what you've wanted. Rio's always wanted to play rough with you, you knew from the amount of hickey's she'd leave you with. Agatha though, you finally broke her out the caring cage she was always in. This was something deep inside her she hid away but seeing you enjoy it so much broke it out.
"On the bed sugar," Agatha ordered. She had already begun moving up towards the middle. Her soft hand guided you by your hip the second you got closer. They put you right in front of her still on your knees. "You're such a dirty girl hun."
"Says the woman with my cum smeared on her stomach." You bit back. Your own hands held at her shoulders as the bed behind you dipped. It clicked there what was about to happen. "At the same time?" You glanced between them.
Neither answered as they positioned themselves. Silence fell onto the room as they lowered you onto them both. The stretch burned and nails left marks into Agatha's shoulders.
Tears sprang into your eyes as they both managed. Your head rolled back onto Rio's shoulder, exposing your neck for their artistic lips to paint your skin with shades of love.
You gave the laziest hum you've ever managed, signaling for them to start moving. And it felt even better then. You felt so full.
"Look at you baby, taking us both so good." Rio praised you, hands fondling your boobs slowly with the rhythm.
"I bet you're so full...bet you enjoy it. Both of us in you at once." Agatha was the one guiding your hips with one hand while the other drew lazy circles on your sensitive bud.
"All those times you've mentioned it just ever so briefly, we listen to your every word." Rio picked up her speed. Listening to your moans melt into pleased whines.
"Let all your worries slip away hun, we're here now. We'll take care of you forever." Agatha planted a kiss over your falling tears. "It feels amazing doesn't it?"
Your jaw slacked and you nodded. Feeling limp in their arms as both picked up speed in everything. Quick hips. Quick lips. Quick tips.
Lust filled air invaded your lungs in quick deep breathes. As good as it felt, you felt so overwhelmed in a tingling way. Not wanting it to end but needing to be laid out and catching cool air.
"Just like that sweetheart, you look so perfect between us." Rio couldn't tear her eyes away from you.
Her words of encouragement tipped you over and into a blissful void. You screamed and spazed for a few moments. Wondering if your body would ever recover from such a recking fuck.
You must've been out in your own world because when you came through you were being placed into a warm bath. Both woman working to ease out your muscles with delicate kisses. Soft praises fell from their lips every second.
It was heaven maybe. Maybe that had killed you and you hadn't realized yet. You hadn't realized.. "Sugar...why don't we get you into the bed?" Agatha leaned over the side, wrapped in a dark purple towel. "Rio got it all cleaned up for you and everything."
As much of a blur as the night was, you took away every feeling of pleasure you were given. Completely sold to these two powerful woman as they knew of how far they could push you. Questions about the new dynamic would have to wait for the morning.
Body far too spent, you felt the sleep begin to take over your final thoughts. "I love you both forever and always," you sleepily got out before succumbing into the sleep realm.
And as you drifted off, Rio and Agatha shared a conversation over your sleeping form. Devoting to protecting you with everything they could. To use you in every way you'd let them. They were yours more than you were theres. They both could agree on that. Especially after the reality of tonight.
