“whatever the fuck these two characters had going on” is a vastly underrated character dynamic
“Weird about each other” is how I’ve always put it. It’s my favorite thing.

Adobe is going to spy on your projects. This is insane.
For general graphics: use GIMP For vector graphics: use Inkscape For drawing and illustration: use Krita For print and web publishing and design: use Penpot For PDF authoring: use LibreOffice For PDF reading and form filling: use Okular
All are free, open source and cross-platform. None use AI.
Reblog for everyone
friends don't let friends use GIMP. use photopea
Gonna pop my favorite reference for Adobe alternatives here, lovingly compiled and updated by xDanielArt since at least 2020:
one of the most unpredictable things about posting your fics is that sometimes you'll post something that took months to painstakingly plot and craft with your best writing only to have it get a single kudos and then sometimes you'll post something that took 10 minutes tops from a little 3am idea to 100 kudos and comments. so basically what i'm saying is that you should just give yourself credit for having written 2 whole stories
javert satisfied is such a good chapter on reread. also
my point about les misérables being extremely funny still stands because. lol. lmao even
Fanfiction exists for TWO reasons:
Dealing with complex thoughts and emotions I can't work through in therapy, like grief, despair, a complicated relationship with pain and addiction
Seeing the same characters fuck over amd over again
"they should be in a healthy relationship with good communication" they should be obsessive freaks who stalk each other and have zero boundaries
the people who enjoy the type of art you create, will like it even if it's imperfect. and the people who hate the type of art you create, will dislike it even if it IS perfect.
don't skip ahead of bullies and bully yourself first. don't badmouth your own work, it doesn't alter other people's opinion on art, but it does make you feel worse about yourself.

text: I am glad that you cried my story emotionally resonated with you.
"they're not gay" I don't know man, I read a masterfully written fanfic on A03 that says otherwise.
love and peace to you and yours russell crowe looks like he should be 10x hairier than he actually is. full respect brother where is it
looked up ‘hairless bear’ for reference and tbh. hugh jackman in les mis

les miserables is just normal miserables to me.
just a glimpse into how lesbian my mind is becoming.
saw a post letting people know that your ao3 bookmarks are viewable on your account unless you make them private, which suggests that the median ao3 user does not use ao3 in what i will call 'the optimum fic-finding treadmill' where you find a fic author you like and look through their bookmarks to find more fics that are good and then look through that author's bookmarks for even more good fics. like a conga line of great but extremely specific tastes. or one of those chessboard rice doubling analogies and oh no that is a LOT of ao3 tabs.
