A Little Literary Rant…
I am honestly surprised that the Bordertown (or Borderland) series edited by Terri Windling hasn’t gotten more attention. This is the series that practically kick started urban fantasy. It’s magic. It’s edgy. It’s prime real estate for any self-respecting film studio, and yet trying to find any one of the books without stumbling upon them by luck in a used book store, is bloody expensive! Like upwards of $100 expensive! How is it that Harry Potter and The Dresden Files continues to climb in popularity, and yet Bordertown/land is left in obscurity?
