A través de Flickr: FOLLOW ME ON FACEBOOK! SÍGUEME EN FACEBOOK! WEB 30/52 Theme: "Tempest" I must say I loved this week's theme. From the beginning I knew that the sea would be the main character of this photograph... I was born near the ocean and grew up watching it almost every single day. Just the fact of knowing that it's just a few kilometers far away from home makes me feel free. I like to think that the sea has a soul. She gives is calm days when you can lie on the waves and you can tilt side to side as you look at the sky and forget about everything... and sometimes she gets mad and load all its brutality against every one who dares to adventure into her gut. I always like to find a glimmer hope in every one of my photos, so this time the sea has given me a second chance. Thanks for letting me grow with you.

A través de Flickr: FOLLOW ME ON FACEBOOK! SÍGUEME EN FACEBOOK! WEB I have been waiting for this so long, and now that we've finally reached the week I am locked. Sometimes one has ideas thinking it will be easy to carry out and then you realize that you don't really know where to start to create them... For me, this started with the new blank document of 7360 x 4912 open in photoshop, which I went adding layers gradually, layers and more layers, first coloring the background, adding sand, glass reflections on the surface, algae (although they cannot be really appreciated they're in the background) and finally the character. This photo has taken me more than 10 hours in front of the screen by the number of laps that I have given. I have made, I have removed, I relocated. I've been thinking about throwing it in the trash almost 80% of the time because I was not convinced. It's one of these images in which you commit failure after failure. This photo is the first of a series that I have in mind for over a year and I didn't have the opportunity to begin because I didn't have time (But I don't want to say it out loud because you know how I am, that I never finish any series ...: P) I love diving, dip my head and stop listening to the world. Open eyes underwater and to observe the turquoise bokeh around me, the irregular shapes, cold in my body makes me clearance and I feel fine. But I can not stand the pressure. When I attempt to dive deeper my ears start to whistle , and I feel like a explosion inside my head. It's an overwhelming feeling, it makes disappear all the feelings I described above and want to fade out to the surface. In this image I wanted to represent that fear of staying trapped. Sometimes we keep on doing something in our life that does not let us breathe. The clinging at straws and being afraid to escape ... those situations that you know they hurt, but you prefer living that because you are scared of other realities. Dependence.

A través de Flickr: "Luna / Moon" FOLLOW ME ON FACEBOOK! SÍGUEME EN FACEBOOK! WEB I am sorry again for not having published that week's image again. As I could explain last week, I needed several factors to create this photograph: Firstly I needed a boat where I could stand, and then I needed the tide to be high enough to make the boat float, and low enough for me to able to reach it without trouble. Unless it looks like a digital image at all, thats not the case. I was really on the boat (which was actually really slippery!!) and the boat was floating and moving a lot. Iñigo Escalante helped me to illuminate the scenery with a torch. Then, in photoshop, I could add the clouds and the moon. I hope you like it!

A través de Flickr: FOLLOW ME ON FACEBOOK! SÍGUEME EN FACEBOOK! WEB When I read this week's theme for the very first time I was like: what am I gonna do with it??? I mean, how am I suppose to do something original with this concept? I had to think very much about til I came up with this idea. Well, I shot myself as a meteor freshly fallen from the sky :P

The Forest on Flickr.
A través de Flickr: FOLLOW ME ON FACEBOOK! SÍGUEME EN FACEBOOK! WEB This week's theme in teleidoscope has been the one I've liked the most until now, as I love shooting inside the forests. It inspires me, keeps me safe. Silence invades me and fills me up. I just get distracted by the creacking of the branches and the birds. I feel that the forest is watching and takibg care of me. This is way I've decided to give it a tribute, and I created a "lady of the forest" protecting the nature. As I didnt want to use a stock image I created a white owl with paper.

A través de Flickr: Happy Monday! So I've had this sitting on my desktop for awhile & never ended up finishing it because I wasn't sure which direction to go while editing it. I randomly went back to it and finally completed it, & I'm still not completely sure if I like it or not. Good practice anyway though, maybe it'll grow on me. Please "Like" my work on Facebook!
