noooooooooot my gf’s mom trying to guilt me into spending time with her without my gf present even tho i’ve known her for two days like honey... all u do is trauma dump and remind me of my mom, ur presence is triggering, no thank you

i’m also miserable like living with my gf and i hear all these other people being like “lol this is not an issue for me living with my partner” and i was feeling guilty ab it for a minute but it’s just a fact that like right now, where i am currently in my journey, living with other people and not being able to truly escape from masking and exhaustion from socializing everyday is a part of my life and until i can work on it, it’s going to keep happening so i really feel that i need to remove myself from the situation because it’s making it so hard to be the tolerant, patient person i can be once the battery is recharged

#it's so stupid like if my parents had neglected me like 20 percent less i may be 100 percent different and maybe functional #but all i can be is 30 different versions of myself based on who i'm with and how i think they want me to act #this whole experience has made me wanna dip so bad so hard #i'm also actually livid to be in this situation?#tried to explain myself a little bit and her mom still was like guilting me #i hate it #first of all you shouldn't guilt your own child second don't guilt me either #i'm glad i have therapy today because i'm going to vent to my therapist ab it but i feel like i can't tell my gf so i had to get it out #just a little bit before therapy because i'm stressed tf out #cptsd #cptsd vent #aita

make oc playlists. spend hours on moodboards that have no purpose. write self-indulgent fluff that’s never going to be published. scribble three lines of poetry in the back of your history notebook. draw fanart of your own characters. write stupid dialogue that your publishers might hate. start new wips that you might never finish but write those three chapters that make you happy because if you don’t write them, who else will?

writing shouldn’t always be about “will publishers like this” or “i have to reach this word count” or “how do i get the most likes”.
