If everyone can remember something this simple, we could save some folks. STROKE IDENTIFICATION: During a party, a friend stumbled and took a little fall - she assured everyone that she was fine and just tripped over a brick because of her new shoes. It only takes a minute to read this… STROKE IDENTIFICATION: A neurologist says that if he can get to a stroke victim within 3 hours he can totally reverse the effects of a stroke…totally. He said the trick was getting a stroke recognized, diagnosed, and then getting the patient medically cared for within 3 hours, which is tough. RECOGNIZING A STROKE Remember the ‘3’ steps, STR . Read and Learn! Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify. Unfortunately, the lack of awareness spells disaster. I remember a while ago here in UK there were stroke-identifying adverts. Their catchphrase was FAST:
F- Face: is their face fallen on one side?
A- Arms: can they raise both their arms up and hold them there?
S- Speech: is their speech slurred? Can they speak a full sentence?
T- Time: if all the signs show a stroke, call 999.
We managed to save my nana with this information when she had her first stroke.

🌼I don’t know how many times I have to tell people this but I am going to say a few things. It BREAKS my heart when people take some of the things that I say way out of context. I seem to get in this trouble a lot when people ask for advice and I am truthfully honest with them. Either they don’t care enough to actually know me and know I mean no harm or they are too milksoppy to take advice or criticism and turn it into a major issue. I want people to be honest with me. If I have ever done anything to hurt you and I don’t know how am I supposed to be better? Or for that matter how am I supposed to deal with my own emotional issues when I feel avoided and outcasted? The problem is I can’t. I just want to be a nice person that is there for the friends I care about but sometimes I always feel like the bad guy. I guess it just shows that the true friends are those that see the best side of you but more often the worst side. So own up and grow up. I am so worn out by this kind of thing.
