they dont tell you this but you carry your upset younger self in you like a parasitic twin
'The woman who checks her makeup half a dozen times a day to see if her foundation has caked or her mascara has run, who worries that the wind or the rain may spoil her hairdo, who looks frequently to see if her stockings have bagged at the ankle or who, feeling fat, monitors everything she eats, has become, just as surely as the inmate of the Panopticon, a self-policing subject, a self committed to a relentless self-surveillance. This self-surveillance is a form of obedience to patriarchy. It is also the reflection in woman's consciousness of the fact that she is under surveillance in ways that he is not, that whatever else she may become, she is importantly a body designed to please or to excite.'

Something I’ve noticed is that leftists who defend Hasan Piker’s right to be a millionaire and wear expensive flashy designer clothes are the ones who speak the most strongly against “girl bosses”. A man who identifies as a communist shouldn’t have to sacrifice a cent of his wealth or ever try and be humble, but women who take on any kind of authoritative role or have employment that generates more than poverty level wealth are bourgeois scum. It’s just so interesting….

women concerned with 'looking older' should try this awesome time-tested trick of being a very gender-non-conforming homosexual woman it works wonders you will be infantilized constantly and people will consistently think you are ten years younger than you actually are.
