Years have wandered silent and slow,
still, I seek a golden glow—
a single ray to break the grey,
to weave a rainbow from the fray.

So don't stop being kind . That's who u r even if u lost urself, buried under thousands of feet under be kind ...
A little kindness can return to u as karma!
“why am i only capable of writing when i am sad?”
Richard Siken: “Because the vocabulary of joy is grunts and moans and the vocabulary of loss is the dictionary.”
“if i were you-” you’d collapse and burst into flames if you were me.
Page 1: Prologue - The Story I Buried
Here’s my story.
Buried not in paper, nor in memory—but somewhere more deceitful.
The internet.
A place for ghosts and liars.
A place where I could bury him—the version of him I called Papa.
The man I wanted. The man I sculpted from ash and wishful thinking.
This story is not a dream.
It’s a nightmare.
One I rehearsed so often, I began to live it.

All I want is a cold hand
to hold my fire still—
a calm in the storm,
an echo, a will.
Eyes that meet mine
and quietly stay—
the start, the end,
the only way.
A kiss like a vow,
the final page turned,
a green-lit sign
for a love that burned.

"The Architect of Illusions"
I built him
Piece by piece.
The father.
The husband.
The man.
I gave him virtues I scavenged from novels.
Gestures I stole from dreams.
A gaze that lingered like guilt.
A mouth that spoke without cruelty.
But he was never that.
He was never anything but absence.
A vacancy I wallpapered with forgiveness, so I wouldn’t have to feel the cold.

The One Who Wasn't Chosen
"I am the daughter of silence,
Raised in the shadows of unspoken blame.
A ghost in the family photograph,
Framed but never truly there.
I am the laughter in the room
With a shattering heart behind it.
I wear joy like borrowed clothes—
They never quite fit.
I am the unloved chapter
In every book they wrote about family.
The side character who tried too hard,
Fell too loud, cared too much.
I gave love like rain—
Endless, desperate.
But no one ever looked up.
I shaped myself into everything they asked—
But even that wasn’t enough.
My love was too large for their narrow affection,
So they folded me away, called me cruel.
I was the sister who held space,
But was never held.
The friend who remembered every birthday,
But forgot her own soul.
The lover who waited by empty windows,
While fate passed me by—
Again and again.
And they called me too much,
Too sad, too strong, too soft,
Too everything except right.
So I became what they saw—
The villain, the failure,
The cracked mirror they threw away.
They told me I’d never be happy.
Maybe they were right.
But even a failure daughter dreams—
Of love that stays,
Of arms that understand,
Of silence that listens."

(Those Who Live Beneath the Shadows)
And maybe that’s the saddest part of all.
That I kept choosing love… in a world that kept choosing to forget me.
Because this world teaches you how to shine,
But never how to survive the darkness when no one is watching.
It applauds your strength, but only when it’s convenient.
It wants your resilience, not your reality.
Your smile, not your scars.
They say “be yourself,”
But only if that self fits neatly into their comfort zone.
Speak up, but not too loud.
Feel things, but don’t make them uncomfortable.
Be soft, but not weak.
Be bold, but not too much.
Be you, but only the version that pleases them.
We were taught to swallow our sadness in silence,
To stitch our wounds behind closed doors,
To call it discipline when it’s really just emotional neglect.
To confuse perfection with worth.
To wear our burnout like a badge of honor.
And when we finally break—
They don’t ask, “What hurt you?”
They ask, “Why didn’t you try harder?”
They romanticize healing, but never sit through the mess.
They preach mental health, but mock the ones who reach out.
They say, “I’m here for you,”
But disappear the moment we stop pretending we’re okay.
In this world, empathy is a whisper,
But judgment is a scream.
And somehow, survival is never enough.
You have to survive beautifully—gracefully—quietly.
Even when it’s killing you.
But I am tired.
Tired of being brave in a war I never asked to fight.
Tired of explaining my pain in a language they refuse to learn.
Tired of performing wellness to make others comfortable.
I just want to exist.
Unapologetically.
Unedited.
Unloved, maybe—but seen.
Heard.
Believed.
And finally… free.

"Even if my lips may lie,
My heart is loud beneath my eyes.
When you smile, I try to hide,
But love still spills, untamed, untied."
