Reworking Hiraeth into first person was genuinely one of my better ideas, the story definitely works better in this format. I just wish I didn’t come to this conclusion this far into the process even tho I’m not even halfway (40,000 of a 100,000 goal) 🥀

Anyways enough whining, another part of Hiraeth has made its way into 1st person and is ready for reading!

I recently finished Pale Tutor!!!!

It’s a side project I’ve been working on for a little bit now, a reader insert/pure vessel relationship establishing fic. It takes place in an au with no infection so the pale king is just kinda stuck with these child bio weapons so he does the only thing any self respecting parent would do: pawn it off onto someone else.

It’s been real fun writing it, I may do more!!!

i know it's hard. but i so firmly believe the strongest antidote to loneliness is reaching out first. and continuing to reach out. again and again and again. excise any scrap of shame you hold about being the person who texts first or pitches the plan or asks to get lunch. everyone is tired and busy and struggling. and afraid of feeling unwanted and unimportant. don't let the people you love feel that way. reach out first. don't be a ghost in your own life.

I have finally finished updating part 5 to the new first person POV format. I’m going to take a deep breath before diving into part 6-11 and the last 18,000 ~ 20,000 words of editing

I’m not ashamed to admit I’ve started work on part 13. No part 12 isn’t done, get off my back, what are you my mom?

How does one willingly finish Silksong? I’m at 99% completion I’m scared guys I don’t want it to be over. I waited six years for this and it’s coming to a close 🥀. What will I play now? (Ghost of Yotei prolly)

If finishing a game is this bad I can’t imagine how I’ll cope with finishing Hiraeth. Thankfully that is still a ways away.

Not sure if that is a comfort or if it makes it all the more daunting

I’m practicing with one and it’s definitely stretching some skills I wasn’t aware of.
