ok but can i just describe the emotions i feel reading page 250

because theres a lot to be said here

first theres the regret that im taking from thomas because his sugar mommy is dying.

then im like. he’s gone. this hottie is just . . . gone. like, gorl.

then, for the movies, im like, wait a damn minute. (in the book this isn’t an issue). thomas was literally a runner (even if it was just for like three days :l ). it made sense for brenda to run the serum back to newt, since minho was like half alive at this point cause of all the shit wicked (or wckd whatever) did to him, but it made even more sense for thomas to go. brenda clearly has the strength, but that was literally thomas’s job in the maze, and he could probably have gotten there and back even just a couple seconds before brenda did. if brenda had gone with him and covered him, and minho had stayed with thomas, everything might’ve worked out.

which, i understand they were kind of going along the lines of the book where it is with thomas that newt ends up dying (although thomas doesn’t kill him in the movies, newt kills himself to save himself from thomas)

so the feels are just . . . im in the feels. felt like venting about that for a minute.
