THE ABILITY TO step in was available to him at any point -- instead he watches as a cold air strikes his surroundings. Ice could be very useful, and this woman useful as well, though she seemed ( however cautious in fighting skill ) to be fighting to save others. He was not. It was this sort of conflict that drove his ideals and he was content with it strengthening the occupants of this island. 

For now, he interferes as a group of goblins approach her from behind, his fist closing -- gauntlet charging and glowing blue before he charges forward and strikes the group hard enough to send them into a building wall with a visible, violent impact. 

Akande can admit he likes the feeling of his abilities returning to him every so often, though he hates that they leave again.

A gesture of his large thumb toward the monsters whose lives he’d so easily discarded. Perhaps he had some ulterior motive, or perhaps he was just testing waters.

HE WAS MADE aware of the presence of the other members on this island, though he’d yet to see this particular one until now. How fortunate to run into their healer during such a situation -- though he was ready to face the challenge himself. His gauntlet was at full power once again, though he was unable to use anything but his seismic slam save for five minutes an hour it seemed. Peculiar, how their powers could be sealed in such a way. Akande rose into the air before slamming his fist onto the ground, creating sparks and knocking back a group of goblins -- immediately firing his hand canon in lieu of his usual combo.

doomfist will be participating in the second part of the event, he’s offence based and will most likely be focused on attacking monsters. he’s powerful and fast but not trusting of people and will easily leave people to their own devices as conflict only strengthens the weak.
