my name is starling but you can refer to me however you want. given pronouns are they/them, but honestly you can refer to me using any pronouns and i won't care (before you ask, yes, even those).
about me
i'm 26 years old and working as a wildlife biologist doing research on wild turkey (meleagris gallopavo) (if you ask me about it i will talk about wildlife at length). at the end of 2022 i got married and my wonderful partner and i have a cat who is equally wonderful (even though he's a giant child who is certain the twelve hours between his meals are too long and he's liable to starve to death in the interim).
i'm a birdwatcher, writer, reader, content creator, content consumer, and i'm Very Normal about my fandoms.
i'm always open for asks! idk what you'd ask but like. go wild.

this is a blog that i try to use to promote my writing and keep me motivated to create, which works in waves. please feel free to reblog things i create, but don't repost (as a new post, rather than reblogging mine) without permission.
my ramblings and most of my original posts are tagged with #megara.txt. my original works will be tagged with #original and my fanfics will be tagged with #fanfic or #ao3 fanfic bc all my stuff always goes to AO3 (usually without coming here).
