Hoshiko Katsuki-Nikiforova as a Toddler
Hoshiko was a lively toddler. She never liked to sit still on her high chair but at the very least, she never threw her plate to the floor. She eates... quite a lot, actually. I think she may have got that trait from me (haha). Still, I want her healthy and happy... Wait, did Viktor seriously make eggs benedict for a toddler?!
Hoshiko liked playing with her dollhouse every waking moment she had. We had a playground built just for her outside in the backyard but she just loved playing with her dollhouse instead. She also always asks for hugs from her other papa when she wants to play dolls with him <3
Hoshiko Katsuki-Nikiforova as a Child
I think Viktor and I definitely spoiled her too much as a child. She had the biggest room in the house - even bigger than our own bedroom, which I didn’t really mind - filled with toys of every variety. Hoshiko never demanded us for anything, though. She may have had everything a girl her age might have wanted but she was content with what she had and never demanded for more.
Hoshiko asked us for help with a school project! She must have gotten my darling Yuuri’s studious nature because, at my age, I might have put off working on it until the very last minute. Not her, though. She got the project after school and started working on it ASAP. Yuuri and I couldn’t be any prouder.
Hoshiko likes to wear her hair down when she’s going to school. I know I told Yuuri that I wanted her to go to the best school in the district but did their uniforms have to be so awful??? Seriously, tweed blazers??
Hoshiko is a big sister now! I was worried that she might feel left out with a toddler in the house when she was just a few years older but I’m glad that they’re getting along. She’s going to be an incredible big sister.
Hoshiko Katsuki-Nikiforova as a Teen
Hoshiko loves her new school uniform! (I do too. It’s definitely a step-up from the awful tweed blazer and brown skirt ensemble from her primary school). The style’s... outdated, but the school is quite old-fashioned so that’s par for the course, I suppose. She looks absolutely stunning. She definitely has my darling Yuuri’s looks, from her black hair to her brown eyes, and even his stubbornness!
Hoshiko has started to use makeup and go on shopping sprees with her friends. Viktor gave her a credit card for her to use for when she needs it but now we’re faced with a bill that’s thrice as much as we spend on monthly expenses on one shopping trip alone. Granted, she has the same expensive tastes as Viktor but still. We’re not preventing her from doing what she loves or getting what she wants but we do warn her to take proper steps in taking care of her skin and to be more responsible with how she handles money. She takes the lecture seriously and reflects on her actions.
Hikari and Hoshiki continue to be as close as ever. She and Hikari are so close, they’re now best friends. I’m kind of jealous, actually, with how easy it was for her to be so close to her sibling. It’s unfair, I know, but I wasn’t as close to my siblings when I was her age and it kind of makes me wish that I could have a chance to have an idyllic close sibling bond with my brothers and sister. Still, I’m glad that it isn’t the case for my daughters. I hope they’ll continue to get along well into the future.
