Bought myself a new planner to stay organized this semester. Its going to be a busy one. It’s a lot different than previous semesters because it’s more independent and schedule your own clinical hours, so that’ll take some getting used to. On top of all my core nursing classes, I have to contract one for my honor’s requirement, start my thesis planning, and take an independent writing class to fulfill the last of my gen ed’s before graduation. All while balancing work and my weight loss goals. Phew, I’m tired just thinking about it. I got this though!

First Day of class
Is off to a good start! I am definitely not used to getting up so early, but its so nice to have my steps in went to the student rec center for the first time in forever. I really love the vibe there, and theres so many healthy people there, which is really motivating. I’m staying on campus tonight because theres a snow storm coming today and I have a 30 minute commute. I don’t want to miss my first day of core classes tomorrow so I’m having a slumber party with a friend who stays here during the week. Came prepared with workout clothes and healthy food. I’m taking full advantage of the fact that there is a beautiful gym within walking distance of my building. I miss living on campus. I forgot just how much walking I do while I’m here. All things considered, I’m off to a really good start this semester. It’s going to be a good one :)
I've been trying to make an effort to start every day out with a tall glass of lemon water (out of my blender bottle for easy measuring) and taking a vitamin. Easier said then done, but its really helping me start my day on the right foot!
On working towards goals:
You don’t have to give up if you mess up one day. Each day counts as progress, even if they aren’t in order. And you don’t have to wait until a new week, month, or day to start a new goal. You can start right now.
Love when all my goals are green and I still have two more hours of work!
