Gif Progress here l HQ ver here I know my perspective and buildings was bit off because it’s my first time to do it. I want to try something new and different and also to challenge myself. BUT seeing the output makes me really happy!!!I’m so happy that I learned a lot of things and improved!! ;v;) The printed version was around 70x100cm so PS crashed many times ;v; ). But I really want to study and improve more in making BGs.

My Grandfather speaks rapid Cantonese to me. He’s telling me what he wants from McDonalds. The kid behind the counter rolls his eyes at this. The woman behind us in line says “Speak English” under her breathe. The grip my Grandfather has on my arm tightens. My Grandfather can speak English. He can understand English. He can write English. But he came when he was in his twenties, and he has an accent that will never leave. And when he speaks English he hears- “How long have you been here?” “Can you repeat that again?” “I don’t understand you.” And it humiliates him. This man who left his family, who left his life to make a better one. The bravest man I know is embarrassed of his accent. And in McDonalds, the man who crossed the pacific in a freight boat with no papers and no one he knew in this country, bows his head in shame.

Can we please think of shipping in terms of real people?? because thats what Matthew and Harry are, theyre not just there for your entertainment, theyre real people with real lives, relationships and feelings

Okay imagine you are out with your friend and someone you dont know approaches you and tells you you are a really cute couple, you tell them youre not and usually they’ll apologise. It’s uncomfortable for everyone, but you can laugh it off.

Now imagine instead of apologising amd backing off that person accuses you of lying about your relationship and starts harrassing you about how you make the perfect couple “oh but youre so close youre obviously together” and they see you with your actual bae and start yelling that you and your other friend are a better couple and start threatening them and just being an asshole to them. It’s fucked up. It makes you uncomfortable, it makes your friend uncomfortable and it makes your bf/gf uncomfortable and more so it makes the relationship between you and your friend weird, you dont want stuff like that happenening again so you distance yourselves.

This is what happens when you ship real life people. I’m not saying you cant think theyd make a good couple im not even saying you shouldnt ship them you do you i cant stop you. But please please please don’t drag them into it, please dont make them uncomfortable, dont send weird comments, theyre real people both of whom are in very serious relationships and are just friends
