THE BIGGEST LIE I BELIEVED

The biggest lie I believed about digital marketing was that results come fast.

I believed if I learned enough, watched enough videos, followed enough “experts”— money would show up automatically.

It didn’t.

What actually worked for me was slower and quieter: * practicing one skill * understanding one audience * showing up even when no one noticed

Digital marketing rewards consistency, not excitement.

Once I stopped chasing speed, I started building something real.

And honestly, that mindset change helped me more than any shortcut ever did.

Hard work needs a path

Hard work is important — but hard work without direction only leads to exhaustion. I’ve learned that effort alone doesn’t change income. Structure does. Skills do. Systems do. When there’s no clear path, you keep giving energy without seeing results. And over time, that makes even capable people doubt themselves. Clarity comes before confidence. Direction comes before growth. You don’t need to become someone else. You just need a better way forward.

BREAKING SELF-BLAME

For a long time, I thought something was wrong with me.

Maybe I wasn’t trying hard enough. Maybe I wasn’t smart enough. Maybe this was just my limit.

But the truth is — I was doing everything I was taught to do.

Study. Work. Be responsible. Don’t complain.

Nobody teaches you how income actually grows. Nobody explains systems. Nobody shows you options.

So no — most women don’t fail.

They’re just never given direction.

I was tired of depending on a fixed income. Tired of waiting for permission. Tired of feeling capable but underpaid.

Digital marketing didn’t magically change my life. It confused me first. Overwhelmed me. Made me doubt myself.

But it also gave me something I never had before— control over my skills and income.

I’m still learning. Still building. But now, I know one thing for sure:

If you can learn a skill and reach the right audience, you’re no longer helpless.

And that’s why I stayed.
