Was there ever actually a stated plan if only 4 golden tickets were found. Like did Wonka have a backup plan or would only 4 kids enter? What if the last ticket was found after the winner was Decided, tough luck? What if only one kid found a golden ticket, would they be the winner by default?

By 'Most recent' do you mean the one I've thought up the most recently or the one I've worked on most recently. Cause the former makes me a slightly cocky Protoman who is now the protagonist of the Megaman series. The latter makes me the 'self insert' protagonist of my own version of Persona 6.

there was apparently a point in time where gorillas were a BIG draw for comics fans.

like, they had the numbers that you could pretty much guarantee bigger sales if you had a gorilla.

iirc, there was a Batman comic whose cover has a gorilla about to throw/rip in half Robin. the gorilla is not important to the plot, if it's even in the story at all, from what I've heard. it was JUST there to boost sales.
