I love My Hero Academia!

And it had inspired me to do something with it.

My main account is @yutibuutyptuuty but I'm going to use this account to brainstorm for this world I'm currently building that takes place years before the events in MHA.

It follows the events of an uprising from heteromorphs after being enslaved by the humans for years.

Character Rewrite

I was playing around with Aqualock for a while as a concept for my OC. But then after I wrote and rewrote a couple scenes and played with other ideas for my OC, I realized that maybe Aqualock being a heteromorph was a story I wanted to tell.

So here's Noboru, a rewrite of my originally "Aqualock". The main difference here is that he didn't kill his father, but he did grow up with something many heteromorphs would call "quirk attributed responses" or less formally known: insticts.

I feel like heteromorphs are not more thouroughly explored within the MHA universe, and I would like to draw some art exploring that world and concept as a while.

If has any ideas or concepts that they had thought for heteromorphs, I would love to hear is :)

Post Training Session

Katsuki is more handsy than he thought he was.

Aqualock is more touch starved than he thought he was.

They're both going to hell.

Enemies

Aqualock is a villain.

He does not have feelings, he does not show them, and he does not act on them.

So when he fights Bakugo, he thinks the swirling feeling in his chest was just adrenalline. When he see's the firey passion in Bakugo's eyes, his chest does something he can't explain. And when Bakugo beats him in a battle, he doesn't feel his usual irriataion swell up inside him anymore, somethign different takes it's place.

His explanation?

He hates Bakugo Katsuki.

Physique

Aqualock has been on T for one year. Nobody knows he is trans other than his teacher, Mr.Aizawa, and Recovery Girl (so he can continue HRT).

Because he originally had such a masuclune physique to begin with, it is near imposible to tell that Aqualock is in fact trans, even while he was a villain.

High School Training

This is a more in-depth and more clearly thought out idea for what Aqualock's high school days would look like.

He is (decretly) highly emotionaly sensitive, yet he uses it to his advantage in battle by using his tears and his concetprated aggression in battle.

Aqualock Hero Suit

Before I settled in the idea that Aqualock would be a teacher at UA like Izuku, I did dable in the concept of him being a hero.

But die to his backstory and character arc/development and what I wanted him to represent, I decided to scratch the idea.

Still, this was the character concept.

Adult Aqualock

Aqualock overcame one of lofes hardest challenges. Not just from running from the law after killing his dad. Not just from living through life thinking his family could have been dead. Not just from being dehuminized by the league. And not just from being homless to the point of starvation.

No.

He finished high school.

Now he peacefully lives in an apartment near UA where he is a teacher in the Support Course, giving Power Loader an early retirement.

Post Shigaraki Conditioning

After being constantly dehumanized by the League, the hero's were able to recover Aqualock.

It took months of recovery and therapy, but Aqualock was able to return to some sort of "normal" and is able to "sucessfully" interact with other humans.

But he is stull vulnerable, still unstable, and still insecure, making him apear soft, shy, and even bashful.

This doesn't really have anything to do with Aqualock, it was just a random sketch I did one day but I wanted to include it since Aqualock was given a emotional support anumal as a part of his recovery.

Tail

Some tail concept art and poses.

The idea is that Auqalock betrayed the League in favor of the hero's. In retaliation, Shigaraki consistently dehumanized Aqualock, even installing a tail into his spine mechanism after Shigaraki had it shattered.

Personality

Aqualock's thing is that he lives to piss everyone off, even thought he's always pissed at himself

Getting Familiar

Aqualock (my oc) is a villain going through Rehab in UA's Villain Rehab Program, and Katsuki, since he beginning has had a problem with that, even going as far as to say that the villain scum should go kill himself.

But time has a funny way of forcing two people who seem toally different (villain/hero, water/explosion quirk) into uncomfotable situations that draw them closer.

Height Difference

My OC, Aqualock, is really f-ing tall. But he'd alwasy slouching all the time (My trans mascs get it), so he never pulls up to his real height. And I think it's peak material to mess Bakugo up since the loser is 5' 8"

Hero Suit

Since my OC has a water quirk, I wanted to make their suit water themed, but the reason he's showing so much skin is because it's hard for him to move water is he doesn't show his skin to process more sensorary information.

Anyway, yeah, he's cute and pathetic and trans :)))
