SPOILERS!!! Made these drawings after watching Season 3 of Genndy Tartakovsky's Primal 🦖
Decided to make these small sketches, when I watched Jurassic Park again in Jan. 2024. This movie was one of the things that got me interested in dinosaurs! 🦕🦖
Just some small sketches of the "Big 5" and "Small/Little 5" of Africa! Drew the animals after watching an animal program, around early 2024.
Samurai Jack is an animated series created by Genndy Tartakovsky. It aired on Cartoon Network alongside The PowerPuff Girls. What I liked about this show was the art style and action sequences. I drew this after re-watching the show + Season 5 (released in 2017). Drawn in 2023.
The PowerPuff Girls is an action animated series created by Craig McCracken. Aired on Cartoon Network 1998. I drew this picture in 2023. Growing up, this used to be one of my favorite shows.
Thank you to everyone who got me to 250 likes!
More drawings of Primal. Also... spoilers if you have not watched the series yet!!!
Drawings of Primal; some are Season 1. These were drawn on a separate piece of paper, that’s why the cutouts are visible.
After finishing season 2 of Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal, I drew this. It’s one of my favorite adult animated series, and I like how this show can move a story forward without using much dialogue.
I made this as a tribute after I found out the sad news...... Kevin Conroy the iconic voice of Batman has died at the age of 66 due to battle with cancer. He definitely made my childhood for starring in Batman: The Animated Series, Batman Beyond, and continued through the DC Animated Universe and many more. Hope he still inspires more generations to come, and may he Rest in Peace😢.
Small drawings of characters I like in Paru Itagaki’s Beastars: Legoshi/Legosi, Haru, Gosha, and Gohin/Gouhin. The one of Legoshi in a detective uniform was something I felt like drawing, though he didn’t wear one in the series. Though I am not a huge manga/anime fan, this particular series got my attention. Paru Itagaki also created the miniseries Beast Complex, which is like a prelude to Beastars.
Small drawings from the Korean animated drama movie: Leafie, A Hen into the Wild (Korean: 마당을 나온 암탉; RR: Madangeul Naon Amtak). Characters I drew are of Leafie, Wanderer, and Greenie. It’s also known as “Daisy, A Hen into the Wild” in English-speaking countries. The movie is actually based on a children’s novel called The Hen Who Dreamed She Could Fly by Hwang Sun-mi.
Facial expressions of Goliath from Disney’s Gargoyles. Shading is something I have difficulty with so it isn’t the best here, but I am working on it. Added the other members of the Manhattan Clan: Hudson, Elisa Maza (as a gargoyle), Brooklyn, Lexington, Broadway, Angela, and Bronx.
Based on a scene from Disney’s The Little Mermaid episode “Wish Upon A Starfish.” I remember seeing this specific episode on VHS. It introduced a character named Gabriella, who is deaf and communicates with sign language. Doing research I found out the character is based on a real life person, who was a fan of the show but sadly died. I didn’t realize it back then but the character of Gabriella in animation, helped introduce me to the deaf community.
Now... this was a challenge I did for fun. I tried to draw one character from every Hanna-Barbera show that was ever made; starting in 1957 to the late 1990s. I have seen a few of these shows on promos, TV bumpers, bonus episodes in VHS, and even in theme parks. But most of them I have no idea about! I had to research. Each character was drawn at various times around 2018, but I kind of went a little overboard and lost track. So, I decided to end this and move on.
A drawing of Chihiro and Haku from Hayao Miyazaki’s film Spirited Away. It was drawn on a separate paper before I glued it into my sketchbook. That’s why it looks cropped and that there is a line near the middle (due to a gap that I didn’t notice at first, so I cut it out). I drew this around Fall 2017.
A drawing of Christy Hui’s Xiaolin Showdown. I remember watching this series on Cartoon Network; it originally aired on Kids’ WB. What I liked about this series are some of the story arcs that involved the villain Chase Young. I kind of find this show to be underrated, but it was entertaining: using a mixture of action, comedy, fantasy, adventure, and drama (I even think the show had some deep moments).
