I should clarify that this is just a theory, but
The new cookie has a connection to both Lily and the headmaster of the academy/Fount.
The academy incident will be addressed in the upcoming chapter,
as well as in the Inflamundo.
We are also introduced to a new cookie: the "Nether Queen."
And there's something else... She appears to be represented by flowers other than the cempasΓΊchilβspecifically, Stargazer lilies.
The Stargazer lily primarily symbolizes ambition, prosperity, and admiration. Its nameβmeaning "star-gazer"βcomes from the fact that its flowers face upward rather than downward.
They are primarily associated with the stars.
Interestingly, in one of the updates, it turned out that a portrait of the director was painted in one corner.
Next to it stood a cardboard cutout of White Lily with black hair.
The true details of White Lily Cookie's experiments remain murky, though their impact on Blueberry Yogurt Academy is painfully clear.
In all likelihood, this mysterious Cookie emerged from that portal.
The Academy Director (Who Is SM)
Presumably since its founding, the director of the Blueberry Yogurt Academy was tasked with protecting the Academy and its students from the powers lying on the other side of the Dimensional Portal.
Nether Queen (back when she was a normal cookieβIβll explain that in a moment) and the Director were likely close at the time the portal was opened.
They had to strike a dealβa trade of sorts.
In all likelihood, Fount and Nether Queen (back when she was just a Cookie) were closeβshe was practically the closest friend Fount ever had.
Driven by the dream of bringing magic to Earthbread, he failed to consider the consequences.
The portal could only remain stable under specific conditions: two Cookies had to guard the entrancesβone in the world of the living and the other in the world of the dead.
Nether Queen, wanting her friend to achieve his dream, accepted the deal, remaining as guardian and queen of the Netherworld. This was one of Fount/Director's greatest sorrows, as he had to sacrifice his most precious friend to give Earthbread the knowledge of magic.
(Something that, along with other things, was likely slowly corrupting him.)
Her connection to White Lily, aside from the incident...
...she is very likely a descendant, or resembles her in appearance or personality...
Having caught Shadow Milk's attention, her resentment toward PV only deepened;
not only did she dare to steal the other half of the Souljam, but she also "replaced" her dear friend with a cheap imitation like Lily.
...which leads me to the next part of the theory.
First Headmaster/Shadow Milk and Nether Queen are the counterparts to Pure Vanilla and White Lily.
Especially considering that SM was constantly testing White Lily.
He even smiled during their first confrontation regarding the choice he faced concerning her.
Remember how SM had given him two options?
"Save your friends, but let the enemy escape."
"Attack me, and they die."
Even though he appeared annoyed, he was also delighted with the outcome.
After all, he was the one who sent CA and Black Sapphire to have White Lily retrieve the Book of Beasts.
Remember that, following the confrontation, the group sought to learn more about the beasts but found nothingβuntil a book containing information about SM's past "accidentally" fell. Bear in mind that while the book was a ruse to lure them there, its contents were true; it revealed a part of his past.
I think SM did want WL to join, but as we see, even she decided to leave for her own half. Despite the mockery, Black Sapphire mentions "and your friend White Lily" to the protagonists, asking why she wasn't there with them.
Then she just makes fun of them, and SM intervenes to shift the focus to what would happen inside. It's interesting to deduce where this leads and how similar they are.
1. Their origins are different.
(PV and WL met at the academy)
(Fount and probably the guardian of the underworld met there)
2. Their origins are different.
and even offering a hint about the future of those two
(PV was from a village of shepherds, and WL's origins are unknown, but it's rumored he came from one of the ancient villages in the Millennial Tree territory.)
(Fount being the direct creation of the witches, and the new cookie either being from the wizards or, like Sugar Swan, from the same world although it's also possible she was created by another faction of the witches)
White Lily and Pure Vanilla parallel the First Headmaster/SM and the Nether Queen.
Both share a similar fate, having lost a cherished friend under circumstances they were unable to prevent.
at the end of the day, itβs just a theory.
